"Here’s an oasis in close proximity to both the city centre Hanover football club. The huge garden’s trees form a protective roof thereby making the al fresco experience more pleasant should the weather change suddenly. The bar has an orderly queue system ...there are various ‘Grill stations’ for food which is fast yet super quality. I can recommend the ribs. Naturally it’s a big hit with sports fans as they show live games on a huge screen, generating a lively but nonthreatening atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed one of those huge steins filled with fruit cocktail….!!......they have a massive tureen of fruit cocktail at the bar ladle dollops into your beer on request. Try it. However the mainstay of any establishment is the staff especially their attitude to their patrons. This Bier garden has friendly, helpful staff my German is limited, one guy Raza really went out of his way to help me when I had a problem with my luggage. Thanks Raza. Don’t miss the Waterloo Bier Garden……it’s a chilled out place at any time of the day"

Nice place to have something quick to eat, their prices are very correct. There is nice screen if you want to see a match or something. And yes, they also have beers . Recommended.

Highly recommend if you like authentic German beer garden. Very good food try curry wurst, steak or schnizel. The price for food is less then EUR or curry wurst. The beer is also or EUR liter. It is close to...city park

Twice in one week we visited this Bier Garden, they weren't cooking any more bratwurst, why ? especially as it was so early on both occasions. Very disappointed. Beer was good, staff, miserable. Obi's bratwurst....Superb...alas no beer there

The location is great, it's a very nice big place to sit outside, watch football, enjoy the sun. There is a good choice of beer and the system of different huts makes it okay to order different things in different places. Just go after dinner,...because the food I got spare ribs tasted old and cardboardy, and the dude cooking them wasn't extremely nice, despite me being basically alone ordering
