"The most delicious meal I've had for a really long time. Booked this last minute slightly on a whim because not our usual cuisine. The chicken souvlakia was absolutely unreal. The chicken was thick, incredibly moist and the flavour was absolutely delicious. We had a mese mix of smaller plates, about 5 or 6 and that was perfect for 2 people. The pita breads were warm and the dips were so tasty. We also had chicken wings which had so much flavour and crispy just in the right places. The pudding was a malt chocolate slice and again, delicious. This was slightly on the pricier side, but for me, absolutely worth it. Whilst the dishes were very simple, the attention to detail and the amount of flavour was so fleshing.The interior was full of love and attention, with pretty plants and artifical vines on the beams. The host was very friendly and the overall experience was just so nice. Highly recommend."

"What a delightful little pub. it seems very popular with locals, and passersby alike, a pub grub menu with all the favourites. The drinks and food are fairly priced with decent portions. The pub has a small but nice layout, with not one, but two log fires, great for a winter's night, it also has a nice little garden, which in the summer would be great to take advantage of. But for me above all this, the very friendly warm welcome you receive, is what I'm sure makes this such a popular place. If you want good food, a warm fire and friendly people, you won't go far wrong choosing this great pub."

"Love this place. When I need a decaf (can't have too many full cafs as a breastfeeding mum! I head straight here. The coffee is so smooth and full bodied. The hot chocolate is delicious, too none of that powdery Costa ****! The banana bread served warm with butter is a must try. Note: F&G won't suit everyone. If you like a greasy fry up, spit and gossip type of caf, I wouldn't recommend. This place has young, hip staff and serves nutritious salads and healthy looking sandwich type things that are a little on the pricier side. But everything is delicious and everyone is super friendly and helpful! Plus, they do a loyalty card, that you can't go wrong with!"

"We visited The Bell to celebrate our birthday. We received a warm welcome, were shown to our table promptly. We ordered drinks and they arrived quickly. Our food order was taken as soon as we were ready. Two of us chose a Thai Red Curry from the specials board and our other guest chose the Steak and Ale Pie. We had salt and pepper chicken wings to nibble while we waited for our mains. The food did not take too long to come. It was nicely presented, there was plenty of it and it was delicious. We were too full for pudding so we asked for the bill which we received promptly. The service throughout was truly excellent, the food was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We look forward to another visit in the future."

"I visited Zaza in Berkhamsted for the first time tonight. I had made a reservation earlier in the day for a table at 6pm on Saturday night. When we arrived, we were seated upstairs, which we didn't realize was an option. Both the downstairs and upstairs areas were very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The staff were all amazing - attentive, polite, and helpful. It has quickly become our favorite restaurant and we are not sure why we hadn't tried it sooner! The restaurant is always busy, so booking is recommended. The food was outstanding. We tried several dishes and they were all fantastic. The kids menu had great options and generous portions, which made my kids very happy. We loved all of the starters, mains, and desserts. My personal favorites were the goat cheese starter and the prawn and salmon pasta. The affogatto for dessert was delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience with no complaints. We will definitely be returning soon with more family members."
