we were not really here, but came out of the next door for a drink and it was great. they played great songs while we had a few beers and watched the end of the foot. well maintained atmosphere, banging melodies and friendly staff. I would probably... come and stay here if I came back to edinburgh

I really like this hotel. personal friendly and they work under pressure. I usually go after the rugby. I wanted a quiet drink. it was quiet, but nice to get away from the delusion of the edinburgh festival. you really have to give it. try to make them eat what I tried in the past. this is such a hidden gem.

Today, a group of us used a Groupon voucher to visit this restaurant. The staff were excellent, and the burgers - featuring three cheese and one with chili - were top-notch. a beer and a burger needed before they drove to the rugby, fell in here. bright, high ceiling bar room with BIG TVs that show sport, saw themselves as basic for stag/hen events. the service at the bar was good, the menu choice was mainly burger. these. became quite fast and were of good quality and very favorable. total positive impression and will go another.

Similar to other reviewers, we also had a Wowcher voucher for a Sunday roast dinner at this restaurant. However, our meal was outstanding. We were served a generous plate filled with roast beef, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, roast parsnips, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, and plenty of gravy. Our waitress, Haley (I believe), was extremely friendly and attentive. Overall, it was great value for money.

My wife and I, who are regulars at the hotel bar, recently had a terrible dining experience. We ordered steak baguettes, which were expensive but nicely presented with chips and coleslaw. Unfortunately, the meat in the baguettes was tough and tasteless, making it difficult to eat. The coleslaw was watery and stale. When we complained to the manager, the chef came out but refused to admit any fault. We received no refund or apology for the disappointing meal. Visualizza piatti

we're here to eat last night. the signs outside and the whole bathroom said dinner for Thursdays free days, but when we were asked that the signs were wrong and there was no such deal. our last night we were looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful. that means the service was fast and the food was really nice. I'd eat here in a way. it was still cheap enough, but if there were no such offers available, I would recommend to change all posters over the place cleaned, or it could seem like a villain to get people. the music last night was also good, the girl was an amazing singer.

I waited for almost ten minutes to be served and it was not a busy time. The woman who served me was disinterested, rude and also got my bill incorrect!!! I was surprised that for such a decent looking hotel that the staff would be...so very impolite and poorly presented. I also over-heard a loud female staff member making crude remarks about one of her colleagues, which was clearly in ear shot to guests! Both myself and several other customers heard everything. It was a terrible experience and I feel management and colleagues should be made aware of their very disrespectful and rude members of staff!

We visited for a burger and fries on a voucher but that should not have affected the service we received. We arrived at the appointed time and waited at the deserted bar for a few minutes before a bar tender appeared looking as if he...had just left the gym complete with towel around his neck! He waived airily towards an array of empty tables. We ordered our drinks and chose our eats and these arrived in decent time. The burgers were delicious and filling and this was a major redeeming feature. However our enjoyment was hampered by two misbehaving children who were allowed by their parents -who were sitting at the far end of the bar to run riot, jumping on chairs, shouting to each other and...
