"I feel that eating is subjectiv, so this review is more to do with the service, although in my modest opinion the fish was cooked on Mediterranean perfection, the pizza was so delicious and we are not yet at the waffel. the service was brilliant, deliveroo had not updated the unavailability of some elements we wanted. whammed chew managed to source her as soon as I told them my prejudice. very impressed and will definitely order again. Thank you."

bad for them desserts that are so good! a little expensive, about £6 per dessert, but a great tasty. the waitress was very friendly and attentive.

amazing service and personal! eating was hot with cool ice over the top! there was a great selection of aromen to choose, everyone will knock out their socks! will come back 100% to try more from the menu!

I recently dined at Whammy Chews and the crepes and waffles were exceptional, with delicious flavors and generous portions. The customer service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered from here and it was amazing! I had an Oreo milkshake and Oreo waffle, and honestly it is the best dessert place I have ever tried. The milkshake tasted heavenly and the waffle was soft, chewy, and a perfect 10/10! Goodbye, Kaspa's.

I heard about this restaurant from my brother, so we decided to have dinner there. Getting a parking spot can be difficult if you are traveling by car, but if you do find one, it's worth it. The desserts, especially the milkshakes, are amazing and very large. The waffles and banana split are also exceptional. There are so many options to choose from, and I haven't tried them all yet. I hope this review helps!

"Had a lovely long lunch in the wine cellar. It's a unique venue in a cozy atmospheric cellar. Very decent lunch menu with a choice of cooked food from a set menu or selection of sandwiches. We had the set menu. The food was simple British food with a variety of meat and veg options. The portions were generous. Presentation and taste was to perfection. The pricing was very budget friendly 3 courses for Under 30 pounds). There was a good selection of beer on tap with an extensive wine menu. We had a very long and lazy lunch from 13 till 16. The waiters were attentive. Do check the opening times as it is closed early in the week. Highly recommended for that special occasion."

"I originally did this review 3 years ago (pre covid). Am updating as have been back a few times since and it is still absolutely excellent. The menu is incredibly diverse but the quality throughout is exceptional. If you are sick of the usual chelmo chain slop and have picky eaters who want different cuisines you will do well here. I love the pastas and pizzas, have tried and loved schnitzel and stroganoff. They also do burgers I am tempted just to see their take on it but tbh there is so much more interesting stuff to try first. Highly recommended."

"We decided to change locations simply because they serve the best sandwich in town. My go-to choice is a toasted thin granary bread with ham and their delicious homemade coleslaw, all served by one of their attractive servers. They also offer Sandwich Platters for parties, and I've heard they even provide entertainment with dancers."

"I've been here a couple times before with my wife, the food's always banging except for a rare time I was disappointed. It's a safe choice, we would definitely recommend it. Our usual go-to is a Pad thai but I've tried the Singapore laksa and char grilled duck and all 3 are delicious, definitely worth trying and portions are a very good size. There's usually a 2 for 1 mocktail offer too, which we always grab. We haven't really tried the desserts or starters, we had the gyoza once and they were okay, nothing special and same applies to spring rolls. The service and atmosphere is normally good but busy times like Friday nights can ruin it a little. Overall solid restaurant (which is also halal, just ask), the chain as a whole is consistently good."

"I was appalled about the quality of the service from the moment I arrived at the moment when I left what was when I arrived, I was not asked if I wanted a drink, and I was not asked about the whole meal. the waitress should have seen on the table that we only had water and asked if we wanted a drink. then we ordered our first round hot food. I pressed the help button and after waiting for a good minute for the waitress finally arrived. I felt it was too long. at this point in the evening there were three complete tables throughout the restaurant, so I thought the time we had to wait was bad. then the food began to come, but it didn't come quite. a few dishes came and then a few more and a few more afterwards. that meant that we didn't all eat together, we all ate at different times. I had ordered two dishes to eat at the same time and they did not arrive at the same time. very disappointing. the third order of hot food was beyond a sweat. it was clear that one of the two waitresses did not feel very comfortable (I heard one of the chiefs who told her to go home) she was our waitress. So we ordered the third round hot food. minutes later, we hadn't had our food yet. in this time the cook spoke with the sick waitress. then I pressed the help button and I explained that we had ordered something to eat and waited a long time. then I look at the waitress and the cook and it was absolutely clear that the order did not go through so that it was only then that the food started to cook. the waitress who took the order explained that there were many problems and it was sorry for her. as a customer who paid for a meal, I did not care about the problems, I still expected a good service and my food to turn. overall I thought the service was absolutely terrible. I will not visit this restaurant again and I will not recommend the restaurant to everyone."
