"The food was excellent, but the service was alarmingly slow. We even had to inquire about the arrival of our main courses. The landlord kindly offered to comp our second round of drinks as an apology, but it still felt like we had been overlooked. The venue itself is charming, featuring friendly staff and lovely historic elements of the mill. It’s just unfortunate that the service detracted from an otherwise wonderful experience.
