"Good place for big portions of Cantonese Chinese food. This is not a luxury restaurant with a big TV with muted Chinese soaps running all the time. The service is OK if not very friendly. They have a menu with all the usual mix of Chinese and Thai dishes. They also have a blackboard with more interesting dishes to choose from. Two of my favourites are either squid or beef with chilli and black bean sauce. Oh, to be able to speak Cantonese as Chinese diners get a Chinese language menu and get served what looks like very interesting dishes that are not on their normal menu. Is it because they think we only eat the Germanised Chinese food? I am still a regular and must ask the boss what's on the Cantonese printed menu."

This place is an eclectic mix of tables and chairs a bit like being in their living room with a flat screen TV showing Hong Kong soaps. The food is good with a blackboard with a list of authentic Cantonese dishes. Encouraging is that at every lunch time there are at least ten Chinese eating there. I am a regular and my two favourite dishes are squid and or beef with black bean sauce and chilli.

"Wir gehen ganz oft dort, das Essen ist lecker, Service auch ok, Personnel sehr nett und freundlich. Ausser von Speissekarte gib auch immer Menu of the Day von Fisch, Pasta, Fleisch oder Steak. Meine Kinder essen gerne dort Pizza. Im Sommer kann Man im Hof sitzen, aber drinnen auch sehr gemütlich. Mann muss am besten Reservieren, sonst immer voll. Ich denke das Restaurant ist ein von Best Itallienisches spezialität in Darmstadt. So viel Plätze drinen auch nicht zu viel aber trotzdem sehr angenehm. Gib Parkplatz am Restaurant aber leider nur für 2 Autos, aber in der nähe gib auch Parlk möglichkeit. Das Restaurant hat Montag ruhetag. Der Preis ist ja akzeptable."

"This restaurant is amazing. Every year we visit Germany we make sure to visit. The food is absolutely delicious. They even offer a vegan option on there menu which I was very pleasantly surprised about . Thus I ordered number 100 on the menu which is vegan . The portions are very generous as well. I love spicy food and they have several dishes that are spicy but my vegan portion wasn't but they offered hot pepper powder which absolutely did the trick for me . The interior of the restaurant is very cozy and it sets you back in time and you feel like you are in Persia . Very tastefully and exclusive decorations. I can only highly recommend this restaurant I promise you will not be disappointed"

"The place was packed on an early Saturday night, but we had reserved. At first we were assigned a tiny table at the hallway where everyone who needs to go to the bathroom passes closely behind one's back. We expressed our dissatisfaction with this and then were offered a table close to the entrance that was somewhat better. Why not from the beginning? The staff was stressed and each time a different person appeared at our table. Some were friendly, others curt. The atmosphere was loud and hectic, which was not helped by the very narrow spacing of tables. In any case, in due course our order was taken and it did not take too long to arrive. This was possible, because clearly much of the food is prepared in advance and only heated up. For example, the Tajine dish was served in one, but it was clearly not prepared in it. The food tastes ok, but we would have expected more seasoning, it was a little bland. Portions are generous, perhaps even too large. There is a short list of bottled wines, but prices are marked up steeply. Altogether, the price tag seems a little high for the delivered quality. In summary, while there is nothing deeply wrong with Djadoo, we were left with a mere average impression. But they were turning three or four seatings per table, so many other customers are clearly more pleased."

"Was today the first time there and find the food very good, the bread is definitely made it really fresh and crispy and the vegetables are fresh and crisp as it must taste or should and the ambience looks inviting and good it is clean and the staff is friendly and fast, so everything in all I had been there very satisfied and I can recommend it only warmth.
