"We stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling through the centre of Madrid. The inside is very cozy, authentic and lots of things are in Chinese (including the bill). We never had Hotpot before but it was an amazing soup with all sorts of tasty and exotic toppings to chose from (e.g. crunchy pork or shrimp). Among the more exotic options were chicken feet and pig aorta. There is a plate on the table that keeps the soup in the bowl boiling while you eat and you can cook your toppings within seconds. The staff was really friendly and patiently explained to us how to eat this dish and gave us good recommendations for the toppings. One last piece of advice is to be careful when ordering the spicy soup. It is ACTUALLY spicy and not the standard European interpretation of the word. Overall very delicious and fresh food for a very good price of 36,70€ for two people including drinks. We will definitely come back!"

Xiangzili is a really cool Chinese restaurant. The decor is really cool and not typical of Chinese restaurants in Madrid. The crowd is really young and mixed. The top dish is the soup.

Amazing experience! The staff was super helpful: not only was it our first Chinese hotpot, but I have a shellfish allergy and needed help negotiating the menu. They clearly pointed out which soups we could choose from, and recommended suitable ingredients and the fermented tofu sauce (which was amazing) to us. Everything was really fresh and the flavours were incredible.
