Zaika - Menu

This Restaurant recommended from good friends in Switzerland ... was the most delicious, excellent Indian Street food i have ever had! That was culinary highlight of my 4 das trip to London!

We were a party of three at Zaika on a Saturday night. The dining experience was one of the most memorable during our recent trip to London excellent food and service, a great ambience, and a friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely return.

The Zaika is one of the best Indian restaurants in Kensington. The ladies gentlemen of the service team are friendly and efficient. The food is excellently prepared, especially the lamb shank is worth a try. The very delicious cocktails wine selection together with the stylish relaxed atmosphere contribute to an excellent dinner experience.

Really nice atmosphere and fantastic food. Reasonable price for the location, a bit on the expensive side. Friendly staff who are very tentative and were happy to explain everything we ate. The food is indian with a twist, and we got some special flavours that are a bit unusal for indian restaurants. Really nice atmosphere! Would highly recommend.

I I visited with my son before a concert at the Royal Albert Hall early evening. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and we especially enjoyed the Fish Curry (halibut) and the Black Dal and Bhindi. Might miss out the starters next time and have and extra side dish?! A special occasion sort of place but well worth a visit!

A great time. A wonderful cool airy building from the heat a warm welcome, good menu fresh food, great service and good service staff. Very well done, one of the best eats were fresh scallops on the menu, a little on the small side likely struggle from British Fishing stock however the dish was fresh and superb. Kofta beautifully composed perfect round Koftas. House Lassi and Chai good! Wonderful nice time and nice to solo visitors.

Out of all the places we ate in London this was my favourite. We had the vegetarian taster menu with a dal amuse bouche. The dal was really, really god. I found it hard to work out all the spices that had been used to make it. Undoubtedly everyone’s favourite from all the dishes was the beetroot “chop” (which is actually a croquette). The service was good and the venue is lovely with high ceilings but one can still have a conversation. Highly recommend this restaurant and maybe next time we’ll try the non vegetarian option.

What an absolute delight of a restaurant! We did not have a booking, but sat at the bar until we were given a table, the cocktails were out of this world and the attention to detail was amazing. The best food I have eaten in quite some time and eat in London a lot! But most of all, the staff (and I mean everyone) from front of house to the barman and waiters were just so lovely, smiles all round and Zaika has such a lovely vibe .. Will definitely go again can't wait!! Thank you to you all for such a lovely evening with fantastic food and cocktails!!!

Zaika restaurant situated on Kensington High Street is my age old favourite for many years. The place is decorated in rich silks and velvets and has an excellent ambience. The lunch set menu is served in crescent shaped silver plated plater with four small bowls placed on the platter itself. The set menu consisted of methi butter chicken, kashmiri rogan josh, yellow daal and Lahsooni palak with roti or naan or rice. There is vegetarian option as well. The portions of food was enough for a lunch. The service is fast and served with politeness. We always enjoy eating out here.
