"The fresh source in Habichsthal has become my favorite restaurant in Spessart. I picked a baked trout and it was very tasty and big. There are also other delicious dishes for the deer roast. The services are very friendly. However, there are peak times, especially on weekends, over long waiting times also for drinks. In general, if possible, a reservation in the local area is recommended. The outdoor area has estimated 10 12 tables, some of which go along the street, but also stand next to the house (below a beautiful old tree). A small stream leads along the restaurant. Parking spaces are located on the right side of the restaurant and also a little further away (Overfill Parking is inclined). Follow the signs here. There are small seating groups in which hikers can eat pick-up food. The seats look new, from an alternative solution to Corona times."

Beautiful location in the Spessart in the middle of forests. Good regional cuisine with pork, beef, wild and fish dishes. They are served very friendly. The very spacious house is comfortable with pictures and antique objects.
