"Das Restaurant hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Haben unseren Urlaub mit meinem Mann in Meißen gemacht und sind durch das Internet auf das Restaurant gestoßen. Alles hat gepasst,die Atmosphäre war super und die Musik war nicht laut. Wir haben uns einen schönen stillen Platz aussuchen können. Das Personal hat uns super nett empfangen und super bedient. Außerdem war die Auswahl am Essen auch sehr breit aufgestellt und dann auch noch super lecker . Wir würden gerne über 5 Sterne bewerten. Auf jeden Fall empfehlen wir weiter Vielen Dank nochmal an das Team"

"Meissen is a pleasant enough town dominated by the Albrechtsburg which we did not visit and the cathedral which we did. The Domkeller is in the square reached by at least two separate sets of steps or by a funicular round the other side of the hill and quite a walk from the town centre. As other reviewers have noted there is a marvellous view of the town, there are binoculars and sunglasses on the outside tables, sadly on the day we were there the rain did its best to block the vista. Instead of the usual leather purses staff bring round music boxes when it is time to pay. The food was good my wife recommends the potato sausage soup."

"The place is on the main road, but it has a cute courtyard and charismatic interior. It's okay, but seriously short on VFM (Value For Money) main dishes float around €10-15. We had three meat courses and a pasta. The pork tongue was well boiled... although served level, without sauce, the scavenger had a lot of mushroom sauce and was OK. Pasta was shocking bad, curls of green Tagliatelle with very bad tomato sauce, few feta pieces and half a glass of olives, a poor student on two euro budget could do better. Last meal was lamb, that was OK, nothing special for the money. Overall, we would rather spend a few euros extra and get a better quality dish. The whole idea of eating is getting something that is especially and generally better than at home. This is Truck Stop Food with Restaurant Prices"

"Short stay on 18.09.2022There were few guests there, the reception was friendly, our lunch time at 13.15 am not so ideal ... but the size of the onion cake and the glass of spring white???? ... please just say if it is all, then it is quarter 2 out. No problem. However, I had the impression of getting a sample of spring whites and onion cakes.The large salad plate, which was still ordered, consisted largely of finished herb parts and the proportion of carrot salad was over its time, simply spoiled. I also said that to the service, but there was no excuse, a new salad or even a discount. Sorry, I can't recommend this.The stars are available for kindness. After all, the tip of €2.90 was €22.10 for invoices."
