Nun wollten wir spontan montags zum Essen kommen dort wurde sehr unhöflich und gestresst geantwortet von einen Herrn OHNE RESERVIERENG KEINE CHANZE! die junge Dame hätte das wohl netter ausdrücken wollen konnte aber nicht … Es ist verständlich wenn nichts frei ist es war ja spontan und wir waren 5 Personen Trotzdem ein Tipp damit Gäste wieder kommen : Behandelt alle Gäste freundlich, versucht es mal mit: hallo schön dass sie da sind, leider haben wir nichts mehr frei ohne Reservierung, haben sie reserviert ? …"

"I had a double Won Tan soup and my spouse had 5 different types of sushi with rolls. the suppe was in order, but it was nothing special. no BBQ duck, no BBQ pork, no shrinks and only 5 wrapper in it. the sushi of my spouse was prepared with jasminreis, which was strange to find something like that on the menu. the service is attentive and the environment is cozy, but be aware that it is a restaurant buffet with a private “Running Sushi” (conveyor belt) and the space is limited. I don't think so much about this kind of concept."

"Everything was delicious! We had lamb filled flat bead which my daughter loved and also the lamb with ginger sauce and also the duck everything was delicious. Our server was great in recommending some kind of tea with milk thats traditional which we all loved....We will definitely be going back. The atmosphere was also beautiful to, very indian it smelled great i love the small saffon flacks on my rice. Highly reccomend"

"Dined here on the excuse me for my Lack of Christmas spirit but this was a woeful experience. Second time I’ve dined her (first time years ago) and it seems that the culture has change in both front and back of house. The...welcome was disjointed with no one having an idea what was really going on. We were placed on a table suitable for pax when there was only three of us. On addition the table was still full of dirty glassware and cutlery. Order was taken promptly however the motivation behind this was to get us in and get us out as it was clear we were the last check on order. Myself and mother in law ordered the onion soup (French onion soup). It’s lacked depth, and no form of alcohol passed through the stock there was a lot of residual stock transpiring through the soup, concluding that this was a synthetic stock. The crouton was minimal with very little cheese. Once cleared minutes later our steaks arrived. We ordered two fillets and one rib eye. Both fillets were very and look warm in the middle. It seems that the cook only cooked the fillets on the grill and did not pass/finished the fillets in the oven to get the appropriate temperature. To be fair to the kitchen my ribeye was cooked perfectly to medium rare and with how thick it was the fat was perfectly rendered. But my wife and mother’s fillets were still alive which again leads me to believe the the kitchen wanted to pushed these steaks through to start to enjoy there festive period. This theory was backed up when my wife who is German heard the Chef commenting to the table behind us that he was “happy to be getting out of here” on addition to this is was quite obvious by his tone and volume that he had a skinful to drink at the Yale end of the service (this could also explain poor execution of the steaks). Overall we ended up paying euros (would have been if it wasn’t for my wife’s persistence) for dishes with only one meriting the value for what it was. This venue has lost its soul and three customers. As I spent years in a Michelin background I am very sympathetic to service or food going wrong but it was crystal clear that we were a total inconvenience to the kitchen and this was reflected in the dishes which were presented."

"this restaurant is always open and practical when others are close. there is a buffet or a menu option. the buffet has many different foods and includes a hibachi in Mongolian style. they go through the buffet line and choose what they want on their teller, and then give it to the cook. My only complain is that if they choose the buffet and are vegetarian, they only get fried dishes. another time I only ordered from the menu and it was very good. I have the curry vegetables with rice. very delicious! the service was very friendly and always attentive. always a good place."

"with a lot of praise in advance I landed with my wife and a friend of mine for the first time in the iron heart. the same thing was thought of this evening two high times and a birthday party. it was therefore very full and the staff in full utilisation. Despite hectic and stress always friendly and accommodating, the waiting times were also fun with a hazelnut snap.We had delicious cocktails with names like bronx or ghostbuster. the appetizer was clear with a lot of rucola and vegetables. Here we had expected something else.In all this, it is a very nice local with nice staff and also guests at our evening. we'll be back."

"Had lunch here with colleagues. Two had pulled pork burgers that they said was really tasty. One had a prawn salad that looked really good and, given the quiet, determined munching, seemed to hit the mark. I had Bratwurst sausages with sauerkraut. Sausages...were Bratwurst but the sauerkraut was really good for me: not too vinegary and the occasional juniper berry adding to the flavour. All the other meals were big and substantial while mine was a smaller portion which is exactly what I wanted and why I chose that meal. Overall good experience"

"This Bavarian brew house has a plentiful stylish indoor seating and even bigger Biergarten area in the back. The beers served are Manu choices of a less common but delightful Winkler (try the double Bock). The staff speaks some limited English so come prepared. German-only menu offers about 10 mentionable choices: we found the Wiener Art schnitzel one of the best we've EVER had, which was quite surprising. Even more, the French fries could easily outperform McD's. The portions were XL, the salad served with complimented the meal very well. Consider the butter spätzle instead of fries and, here again, we were shocked to experience some of the best ever encountered. Well, overall, we conceded that this was one of the most tastiest Bavarian dinners in Germany. In Amberg out of all places. Cards accepted, cash preferred. If you are in Amberg and like Schnitzel, here you will be for a treat. I could have another one of those right now."

"the white glut with its beneficial location convinces with delicious burger and steaks. about the ratio of price performance you can not complain, it fits and also the services are friendly. after our visit today we were unfortunately somewhat dissatisfied. for three people the burgers were delivered cold, that can happen already and they were exchanged without complaint, yet the site items will cool again in the meantime. this is not a break and also a well-meaned feedback. the annoying aspect of our visit today was that the restaurant was permanently empty and three people still be squeezed to a table for two people:("

"I am not a big fan of currywurst, but my man likes it and I have seen a lot of great reviews, so we decided to try it. it is served as only a plate of curry sausage pieces (not on a bloomy art of bungalow), in its choice of three sauces (grad from mild to hot). it's like an almost food restaurant where they order inside, and they bring their order outside to their table. the service was great and they spoke very good English! it is also similar to almost food. since I'm not a fan of currywurst who wouldn't be the attraction for me, but I'd definitely go back there, just for her pommes!"

"We've been living in Amberg for months and just now discovered this place; so happy we did. We walked past it a couple times before COVID, but there was never anyone outside probably too chilly at that time. On a friend's recommendation we decided...to try it and we loved it! I saw someone else's post that the staff does not speak any English; we didn't find that to be true! They are probably as good at speaking English as we are at speaking Deutsche, but together it's not difficult to communicate. It's true that there were no menus in English, but easy to translate or interpret. They have a full bar AND THE HAVE REAL ICE! Most European bars and restaurants are very conservative with their ice giving you sometimes ONE ice cube! My request for a liqueur with ice was delivered with crushed ice just like in the states! My husband had a steak that was smothered in crispy onion skins and fries. I had a schnitzel with spaetzle. Both were great, and we found Russwurmhaus to be a bit more pricefriendly than some of our other favorites. We loved their outside seatingpatiobeer garden I kind of hate the term beer garden when they have a full bar and serve much more than beer!. When the sun sets they place bottles with LED lighting on each table to create a candlelight ambiance in this off the beaten path location. It's right on the Vils river and a bit more isolated than many local favorite dining establishments. We did not go inside so I can only review the outside dining experience. The wait staff was extremely accommodating. We have already made reservations to return; it's now a local favorite"

"The mixed seafood soup was the best dish of the table with the turkey fajitas a close second. The staff was very kind and helpful and even though we knew a little German they were very kind to speak to us in English. Menu also...was in English and the chef actually brought the dishes to the table and later asked how everything tasted. We will definitely be going back because they have Mexican and Italian on the menu as well as many other options. Keep in mind though that it is a German version of Mexican food (hints the bread) but it was some of the better Mexican we've had in Germany."

"Have been here multiple times and the food is so consistently inconsistent. Sometimes a pasta dish will be one of the best I've had in Germany, two weeks later the same pasta is inedible. I don't know if this was a kink worked out now...that they've been around longer. Or if it's a systemic chain restaurant problem. All I can say is I had such high hopes, and it's barely worth chancing not enjoying your food. If you happen to catch them on a good night, food is fantastic, otherwise just go to Trattoria Rustica or Mamma Maria"

"Had heard it's one of the two best Amberg restaurants for steak, so we were eager to compare. The service was outstanding including English speaking wait staff, nice atmosphere, full bar not just wine and beer!, and the food was very good. My only recommendation...in this community where a lot of Expats live would be to offer a menu in English I ordered the only thing I could easily identify without speaking German but the steak my husband ordered will be my choice next time. I ordered a Scampi dish that came with salad. The good news is it was a traditional salad not the typical German salad of shredded carrots and kraut; I can't say I was as crazy about my choice but we both LOVED my husband's steak!!! Perfectly done and no extended wait time for delivery of the food. We also tried the Creamy Tomato soup which might have been the thing I really go back for! Not your everyday tomato soup........we are likely to go back at lunchtime just for the soup!!! And their desserts are prepared when you order them, so they might take a little longer than you would expect, but so worth they wait!!! OMG! We will definitely go back! As with most restaurants in this region.........reservations are definitely recommended"

"Local enjoyment of the Erras family, formerly the long-term tenants of the well-known mountain farm on Mariahilfberg. Now in the old town of Amberg. People like to drive 100 km here. We were thrilled. Had goose, venison, beef fillet and various roasts, all excellent, big praise to the chef. The service was quick and friendly. However, you should make a reservation on the weekend as it is always fully booked. It is best to park in the parking garage, as parking spaces are limited in the city center. Definitely a clear recommendation from us"

"Ich habe den Könisburger Überraschungsburger) gegessen. Nach einer kurzen lustigen Nachfrage ob ich denn wirklich eine Fischburger haben will, hab ich ihn auch bekommen. Die Panade des Paddys war perfekt kross und das Fleisch innen sehr saftig und geschmackskräftig. Die Mango-Chili soße bringt einen asiatischen Touch mit sich, den ich seeeehr nice fand. Blaukraut und Salat mit drauf fand ich sehr passend. Vielleicht hätte man auch überlegen können Bambussprossen mit draufzupacken. Ich weiß dass viele Menschen nicht besonders gerne Fisch essen, aber trotz allem hat dieser Burger es verdient ihn immer bestellen zu können. Die Onion Rings und die Sour Cream ist ein absoluter Gamechanger, einfach krass gut. Noch ein paar kurze Worte zur Bedienung, weil es nicht viel zu erklären gibt. Alle Bedienungen sind sehr nett, entspannt und lustig. Ich war jetzt in den letzten 3 Wochen 3 Mal hier zum Essen. Ich bereue nix und habe nicht vor weniger hier zu essen. Nach 4 Monaten endlich mal wieder hier gewesen. Natürlich wie immer den Überraschungsburger. Diesmal mit Kürbis und Ziegenkäse. Ein super Kombi, die ich bisher nicht kannte. Einfach der Wahnsinn, was in der Küche neu kreiert wird. Nach wie vor eine absolute Empfehlung!"
