"Went here today, just me a my daughter. I cant actually fault this place. This is the first time we've been here in my opinion its really, really good. They have thought of everything for the young ones in regards to entertain them. Plenty of friendly animals, play area's(inside out), activities, animal talks/presentions, tractor rides. The list goes on. The staff are really friendly, even the youngsters, i say that because sometimes in my exsprience young staff in these places its not always the case but here is very much not so. Also lots of toilets around which is very helpful when you have a little one with you lots of wash stations for after feeding/petting the animals. After paying £30 for the two of us i did think it was a bit expensive for a farm, however having been there today it is worth every penny. We arived at 10am left 3.30pm, we could've proberbly stayed longer, i would most certainly pay that again WILL be coming back. Fantastic day out for all the family no matter what age."

"Floor filthy, dirty tables. Food was really tasteless poor. Went a few months ago originally posted a review on facebook for that visit. After looking at another review on tripadvisor (Dream...not anymore) it is obvious it hasn't improved, so have re-posted review on...here. Really sad...has gone from being the best cafe in the area to the worst inside six months! Manager didn't take my complaint about the food well either as the bill was he muttered to just give him I shouldn't have, but just paid haven't been back since never will."

"Lovely new waitress Megan. She's only completed a few shifts and did very well, was very polite and apologetic if she couldn't find or know something. She'll be a cracker in a few more shifts. She has the right personality to help the guests to have a good night. The food was delicious. Most of us had various steaks. The cocktails not too bad at all. A little pricey so not your everyday restaurant. Definitely for a special occasion. Beware ladies with your high heels and the stone tiled floor. It's an ice rink and quite dangerous to walk on!!! They need a serious degrease!"

"We had one incorrect delivery and the rest of the order was received the following day, resulting in only half of the family being able to eat the night we ordered. We decided to give it another try, but only half of the order was delivered again. We were told that the rest of the order would be sent, but it never arrived. After making a complaint, we were given a credit note, but when we tried to place a direct order over the phone, it never arrived. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Phone calls were directed to Southend, where they seemed unaware of what was happening in Basildon and were also rude and unhelpful."

"Eating pizza from Domino's Pitsea is always a delicious experience. We have been ordering from there for a few years now. The staff there, both in the store and for delivery, are friendly and we have never had any issues whether we are picking up or having it delivered. The blonde, hairy delivery guy knows what good customer service is. Susan is always great and the pizzas are delicious, especially with their garlic and chilli sauce. They always have tempting deals available for individuals or larger groups. Overall, we highly recommend Domino's Pitsea."

"Always a problem with this location either wrong orders cold food etc but this time they cannot count up to 9? Think there staff need a training session to count up to 9 because ordering 9 nuggets and receiving 7 is a bit dumb dumb How ridiculous a simple order once again made wrong. It's not just the 1st time where do they get the staff from my 8 year old will count 9 in 3 other languages. What a ridiculous team of people you have running that restaurant. The people who actually care about their job are over shadowed by the amount of idiots you have"

"I visited for lunch yesterday with my daughter was disappointed with the lack of customer service. Considering they had 3 staff serving the small dining area, two customers had to leave their tables head to the cash desk to get the attention from one of the 3 waitresses. The staff were far too busy chatting didn't realise that two customers had been trying to get the attention of the waitress for 10 minutes. The cream tea was very nice so was the coronation sandwich. However, Being spoilt for choice with food establishments in the high street I will certainly not be returning to Clairy Fairy Cup Cake again."

"First time visiting this place Went for convenience but glad we chose it. All day breakfast was well cooked and used decent ingredients. Other people with me had calzone and pasta dishes. All were pleasantly surprised. Everything came out in a decent time, piping...hot. Staff were polite and attentive. Couldn't ask for more and will likely go there on our next visit to the Garden Centre"

"I was just at jessie lou’s for lunch with my man and wow! the food was delicious. we both got burgers and they were huge. I had an el paso burger, the huh was juicy and perfectly cooked and dressed with super tasty chorizo. my husband had the texan hog, the massiw was knife and fork burger fleischpatty was very tasty with pull-pork on the top, the mouth water was charged. we had both on the part and divided a part of their three-fold cooked chips. chips were covered with stone salt and perfectly cooked with a few crispy on the floor, which is always a winner in our book is our net filling us out so that we have taken two slices of ferrero rocher cheesecake to take along. not only eating well, but it was super clean. the ladies serve were friendly and stopped to chat that completes the experience. can not wait to go back and try the lasagne burger next week. Many thanks for a great Saturday excursion."

"First of all, as I went in I went to the toilet, which were disgusting, they need cleaning! Secondly after ordering my food and waiting nearly 10 minutes for some so called ‘fast food’ in that time I saw 2 or 3 employees roll their eyes at customers chuck food into bags/tray and then a feeble attempt to call out peoples order, I could barely hear and I was right in front of the counterI finally get my food and drive home, I eat my food... which is cooked just as much as it needs to be before it’s bad. The chicken is tough, just chucked in a bun.Worst KFC around!"

"For years, John and his family have known since the 1970s. The food, cooked by its two songs, is amazing and extremely tasteful! We had beef in black bean sauce and the kung po chicken they were very good portions... and the meat was cooked to perfection in some extremely delicious sauces! The cooked rice was fluffy and simply perfect. Will always use this restaurant as we come to visit my mother quite often and always have a treat by taking away from here! Thank you, Lon Wah!"

"this was our first time at Reid’s. eating was really nice, steak was slightly underboiled (for medium rare, but less rare). my cocktail came after our starters arrived. I had to ask twice for the cocktail. the service was really poor, had to ask twice for the drink. when our head arrived, they forgot the garlic bread, so we had to ask and also had to ask for steak knives. the waiter didn't seem really interested. there were 3 large groups, however, so that we gave them the advantage of the doubt. not sure we're coming back."

Despite the excellent service from the waitress, the manager was indifferent to our complaint and only removed the cost of the meal from our bill reluctantly. We will not be dining at this restaurant again."
