"The staff were friendly and efficient, and at 12:30 on a Sunday, the atmosphere was pleasantly quiet, although it became busier as we left. One change I noticed is that you can no longer serve yourself with the salad (which I’ve always worried about in terms of cross-contamination). Instead, you follow your server and let them know what you’d like. As a vegetarian, I had a selection of several dressed salads (though I didn't find them very appealing), and I chose the camembert and cherry tomato tart, which was divine! The jacket potato was perfectly cooked, but I found the coleslaw a bit bland.
My partner ordered a blue cheese burger and was equally pleased with his choice. All of the staff were exceptional, and Kye, in particular, was wonderful—cheerful, personable, and attentive to everything.
We don’t eat out often, and this meal was a delicious choice. We skipped dessert, but I did order an Eton mess that I couldn't finish, while my partner thoroughly enjoyed his dessert.
Will we go back? Certainly! Is there anything that could be improved? Just a small suggestion: it would be nice to have a separate menu for vegan and vegetarian options with all available dishes. Other than that, I have no complaints."
