"who really likes to eat authentic Italian food and makes small smears at the equipment - this is paradies. nothing for a candlelight dinner and nothing for a business dinner. the two or three wooden tables are inside or the 5-6 tables on the trottoir the wrong approach.For this there is honest, authentic Italian service and an incredible price/performance ratio. the pizza is thin, cross, and the linings on the point at tasty roasted and burned before. no suffocated fladen that is suffocated under too much cheese. each ingredient can be tasted out and the Peperoni salami tastes also to salami and not to spices. also the courts of the daily ticket worthy! also the meat is brilliant! and last not least: the espresso comes hot and fantastic aromatic, super crema and disintegrates on the rim. if it were not in the middle of berlin - you could with closed eyes almost the fragrant siziliens snuppern ;-). for me after sizilien and South Tyrol the best and most authentic pizza place so far."

"since 1.1.2020 there is a new administration of taverna. the previous operator family had to give up at the end of 2019 for private and health reasons. the new management took over the menu and the cook so that eating did not change much: tasty and sufficient. the prices are in the rule between 10 and 20 €. the restaurant has 2 Greek dining rooms and a summer terrace, partly covered. the device was largely taken over. only the Greek-white-blue-cartated tablecloths (which somehow always reminded me of the NVA bed linen) were exchanged for identically patterned in white-green. Unfortunately, the new operator does not have much time to earn money: corona came from China to europa and Germany – they are known: weeks of enticing with the entire gastronomy. After the im-house nomination had been cancelled, the normal card was returned with changed opening times: now the whole week is open from 12 to 23 clock. the quality and the amount of eating the Greek cuisine is still very good too good. which has suffered in my eyes but is a bit the pleasant atmosphere. it was almost familiar friendly among previous operators, now it is quite cool business. update: next to the standard card there are also always day offers. on 11.11.2021 for example fresh grilled dorade with grilled vegetables. for someone who doesn't like to submit whole fish in the restaurant himself, this activity takes on request a service performance. has tasted well, but at 23,50 €uro was not a very good fun, especially since a saturation supplement was not intended for this fish dish."

"We choose the location because of its convenient location next to the S-bahn line 1 (Friedenau), on our way back of a long bike ride. BUT this is real gem! The staff was not only very friendly and welcoming. It was hard to choose so we got a vegan version of the mixed starter platter. Quite heavy with the fried dishes but very tasty! As a main dish we got okra stew and vegan mixed rice platter. Both super tasty and a large portion. We couldn't even finnish it but they have a deposit system for taking one of their reusable containers. They even have home made vegan naan! Make sure to taste one of the vegan lassis, we tasted passion fruit and lychee and they were both delicious."

"I have never met people as nice as the family that works here. They are the loveliest, most hospitable and kind people I have met in the service industry. Not only this, but the food is phenomenal. They have a decently-sized but not intimidatingly-large menu, with 3 weekly changing specials. Most of the ingredients are organic and a lot of products are homemade (like some of their tofu and seitan). The crispy tofu is outstanding and the sauces are subtle and well-seasoned, not overwhelming. The drinks are fantastic too personal favourites are the mint pineapple shake and the lime lemonade. I think at this point I have tried the whole menu and every single thing was great especially the second rice/salad dish on the back of the menu and the steamed dumplings. There is outdoor and indoor seating, they accept card, and there are bathrooms and tap water is automatically given when you don't order a drink which is rare in Berlin..."

"We visited the restaurant with our friends living in Berlin. We were greeted by the boss with a handshake and could pick up a table. The restaurant makes a well-maintained impression and is typically furnished in the south. Friends of Italian cuisine will definitely find something in the menu that impresses with selected dishes. There are also extra offers on a table, both for the main course and for desserts. The wine map is extensive and well sorted. The service is attentive and has fun too. "cooled place with small interior and exterior seating. they take time to prepare food. good 20 minutes for a record of momo. But the momos have the original taste, as in Nepal/India . not a fan of jhol, but the chili paste with the momos is great. the chicken-khowmein is like street-style-khowmein, which we find back in the hometown, only that comes in the regular broken egg and not as poched here, the chatamari was a new dish that we tried, quite liked it. the muted chicken mothers must try (especially if they come in form, they can relate)."

"Wonderful little restaurant run by a husband (cook) and wife (hostess) team who are very friendly and willing to chat tourists like myself up. Also more than willing to help translate their handwritten German menus, so don't be afraid to ask. My main was a pasta with asparagus and cream sauce topped with roasted chicken. Simple homey but high quality cooking. Was a nice alternative to all the currywurst and doner kebab I had been eating the last several days."

"I came to this place because a friend told us about it and I can only thank her for this. The food is excellent (and I'm an italian saying it) but what really leaves a good impression is the staff and especially the owner. Aurora has such a great personality, it is always beautiful to see people that made a living out of their true passion. She will not simply give you any bottle of wine, she will sit down and explain you everything there is to know about it (funny anecdotes are included) and give you the best home feeling ever. Seriously I think words are not enough to describe how amazing facciola is, so definitely a must!!!"

"we have come in the delights of the wonderful breakfast in the sugared and wanted/have not to get up anymore. the first impression was already very promising: the caffe is very tastefully furnished with antiques, you feel immediately comfortable. I have to say that it was really noticeable how kind the employees were here. you actually have the impression that people have been happy to be hospitable and have been interested in whether you are well. there is always more and more rare in berlin. the breakfast card was presented in a small sealed envelope and made it clear that everything would be of the highest quality - we decided to have a classic breakfast set and we regret nothing :) the same baked various broth (rhabarbrötchen, bierbrot etc), self-made butter, lovingly decorated cut, granola, fruit salad...what more? the coffee tastes great. many thanks for a wonderful Sunday morning - we come back in definitw!"

"Oh well. The plov is anything but not a plov. 10 euros for a bowl with a bit of plov in it, otherwise salad. I specifically said I wanted a lot of plov but that's not the case. Also far too little garlic and spices in the plov. This can still be improved. I think it's good for hungry fast eaters, but for people who are familiar with Uzbekistani food it's a bit of a flop"

"all in all a very, very successful evening. great ambiente in a cozy style to feel comfortable. very friendly service. unfortunately while eating quite long waiting times, although the restaurant wasn't full.Self-baked brot with 2 spreads very delicious. appetizers (gebeizter schinken und gazpacho) extremely good and the main dish (gulasch with what tasted with chocolate notes) also excellent. The same for dessert.In the ham appetizer and the dessert were 5 or 6 different things on the dish. that was almost a bit too much for my taste. rather focus on less. However, the 5 or 6 were individually all extremely tasty. coffee was forgotten and when bill was missing the half, where we drew the very nice waitress attention and thanked her. All in all in my eyes a great restaurant that can still work a bit on the details."

"I've been here twice - once when it just opened and the other day. When it opened it was very charming and simple - just coffee and some juices. The staff were the owners, a young German couple (with great English!), who were very friendly and inviting, and more than happy to tell us about the cafe and the coffee. The flat white and americano were just right, smooth, tasty with a punch, but no bitterness, just great coffee flavour. On my second visit, the coffee was just as good, if not better, and they now have delicious baked goods and lunch stuff, including the best croissant I've had in Berlin. They make and bottle their own healthy juices right in the cafe, which looked great. They also have beautiful cabinet displays of jewellery and ceramics made by local designers for sale, and a great range of art & coffee magazines to read or buy. They also have board games that you can play there or rent! The decor is lovely and calming, simple enough but with an individual touch, which makes a nice change from the usual grey paint and exposed brick (and not much else) of so many speciality coffee places. The staff are lovely and chatty (German and English), yet I still felt comfortable enough to sit on my own and read for a while. They also have outside seating. The prices are VERY reasonable, I paid €4 for a flat white and a croissant, which I thought was amazing for the quality of both. All in all, faultless in my opinion. A great and much-needed addition to Moabit!"

"I made an extra effort to find this place in Moabit because fresh "eat all you need" vegetarian/vegan buffet sounded great. The warm dishes were tasty and varied. The salads were mostly pulses (no greens). I was thinking while I was eating that I'll need to write a positive Tripadvisor review to encourage people to find this place off the beaten track. I hadn't thought about rating "service" in a self-service buffet place. My lunch experience turned, however, to an absurd tragicomedy at the end. The manager was very rude and made clear that I ate too much and spent too little and that he wasn't making a profit on me. I gave him direct feedback that I thought it was not appropriate for him to make such comments to his customers, but he just went on with his chiding. So if you eat just a little, can digest pulses and don't mind the desolate location and if you can tolerate rude comments and hostile attitude from the management, this might be your place for a healthy vegetarian meal."
