"We had been in Berlin for 3 days and had not eaten at a restaurant (were eating German fast food on the go) so we asked the hotel concierge at the Ritz-Carlton for a good local German place and he sent us here. Easy to find on the street corner. We had 8 pm reservations on Friday night and we were seated right away when we arrived. My only complain which is just something typical in Europe ... table are right next to each other with very little room to move or to have a private conversation ... otherwise ... I loved this place.Yes .. they do have an ENGLISH menu and like all Europeans our German friends speak excellent english. Service was friendly and fast. The food was excellent and the prices were great.We had a salmon on a potatoe cake with white cream and caviar .. wow .. that was yummy .. and for main we had fried chicken over mushrooms ... after eating sausage, and sandwiches for 3 days ... this meal was delicious. We had one glass of wine and one beer and our bill was 51 euros ... Excellent ... Oh and the bread they give you was excellent !!!!!"

"They seem to take great pride in having a fresh, modern take on Chinese cuisine but if you compare them with other modern Chinese restaurants then they are unfortunately rather uninteresting. We were 4 guests having dinner and 3 of us ordered grilled duck which...was crispy but otherwise entirely too fatty. Fairly large menu with separate Dim Sum menu but it was all just average, both taste and appearance. There are no cocktails on the menu which is regrettable, and on the night we went there were just two waiters for the whole dining room which made everyone wonder: Is it always like this??! The simplest of drinks and our food took much longer than it should have. In short, a promising place but they´ve got quite a way to go before they become a standout on the Berlin restaurant scene."

"Furchtbares Erlebnis zum Geburtstag. Nachdem ich dieses Restaurant Jahrzehnte ca. 3x im Jahr aufsuchte kann ich sagen, dass der Service hier von sensationell bis unmöglich ist, was die Erfahrung immer mal wieder getrübt hat. Nun wollte ich meinen Geburtstag dort feiern. Aufgrund ein paar unschöner Lebensumstände, buchte ich den Tisch kurzfristig über Open Table und freute mich umso mehr, dass es geklappt hat. Ich habe angegeben, dass es sich um einen Geburtstag handelt und darum gebeten, einen Tisch am Rand zu ermöglichen, da wir unseren Vierbeiner dabei haben. Als ich mit meinem Mann ankam, bot man mir einen Tisch vor der Eingangstür in der Mitte des Raums an, an dem der Hund nicht sitzen kann und man (bei Minusgraden! direkt vor der Eingangstür sitzt. Alle Gäste stehen beim Betreten des Restaurants im Rücken direkt hinter einem. Ich habe hier schon einmal gesessen, den ganzen Abend gefroren, Jackenärmel abbekommen und meinem Hund wurde zweimal auf die Pfote getreten! Als ich dies gegenüber dem Kellner anmerkte bekam ich zur Antwort: Tja, da war dann wohl kein anderer Tisch mehr frei! Ja, Sie haben das in das Bemerkungsfeld eingetragen, wissen Sie was Gäste da alles reinschreiben? Manche schreiben dorthin, dass Sie einen Aperitif wollen . Das war schon beleidigend und auch anmaßend gegenüber Gästen, die im dafür vorgesehen Feld eine Anmerkung für das Restaurant hinterlassen. Ich nutze dieses Feld fast immer und habe bisher noch NIE etwas derartiges erlebt. Im Gegenteil, Restaurants rufen an, um zu sagen, dass mein Wunschtisch leider nicht ermöglicht werden kann, oder wie am Freitag im Ottenthal zum Beispiel ist schon alles perfekt für uns (MIT HUND vorbereitet/berücksichtigt. Man hätte auf so viele verschiedene Arten reagieren können und einfach einen anderen Tisch anbieten können, aber dieser Kellner fragte von oben herab: Wollen Sie den Tisch nun? Das war 's. Wir verließen das Restaurant und gingen in Lehmann 's Gute Stube. Etwas später rief mich der Chef an, entschuldigte sich und bot mir an einen anderen Tisch zu bekommen, wenn ich zurückkommen möchte. Ich wollte nicht. Weder wollte ich erneut einen Parkplatz suchen, noch wollte ich diesen bornierten Kellner wiedersehen. Für mich war 's das mit diesem Restaurant. Hey, wir leben in Berlin hier gibt es soooooo viele bessere und freundlichere Restaurants man muss also nicht am Herkömmlichen aus Tradition festhalten. Ich empfehle an dieser Stelle Lehmann 's Gute Stube oder das Ottenthal. Beides fantastische und gemütliche Restaurants in denen man auch Kalbsschnitzel und nicht nur Wiener Art essen kann und in denen es unfassbar leckere Gans gibt. UND einen freundlichen aufmerksamen Service."

This time it was with a person I had not personally known to the karma. at that time in Neukölln I had forgiven four stars although it was actually between three and four. but that was also due to the pleasant meeting with strange people until then. I would have started the event here. eating alone in a restaurant doesn't make me fun so I met with a user from there somewhere else than berlin to the first contact (star trek the first contact. had you virtually already known of qype, then still under our qype username? I think so. the old ego seems to represent the female variants of a television star. even if I like to drink a kilkenny I have nothing to do with it, but the cap fits me. so I had arrived from my home on an absolutely beautiful early evening on a three-quarter walk. the first impression was somewhat confusing, before the restaurant are about three steps down in front of the luke to the beacon with ashtrays on it. Is that supposed to be the terrace? we therefore preferred to go into business first and were not disappointed. on the back of the house there is a proper terrace away from the eh not much busy road. then the waiter, his first day of rehearsal, the card he didn't know yet but he was super nice and accommodating, at the beginning clearly a little slower than with his previous employer. as already written in previous reports, there was a non-alcoholic fruit cocktail first. the prosecco as check in gift of another platform I did not redeem. Maybe next time, he'll come. to eat now. I actually wanted only a little bit which then turned out to be a portion for an at least eight-headed family; . my rice soup with vegetables and garnels for absolutely just € 7,90 was super tasty and initially very hot (heat . above-mentioned withesser and talk partner this evening had a vegetarian dish “Shahi Paneer”. , that was also a taste experience. all prices on the map are justified and not so expensive. the shoot was a free digestif. so I can definitely recommend a visit."

"first I called 1 1/2 hours before the date (20:00) directly at bellucci, as a worker told me he could not accept any reservations anymore, as there was still a big company and he didn't know if then would be still for me!!!! I then lied to opentable and booked a table for 4 people at 20:00. very short time later I got the booking confirmation from open table. immediately after that, about 1 minute later, I received a chaotic call from bellucci that I should not come in any case, as no more table is free. I'll book somewhere else. the confirmation of open table remained upright and now I should also rate the restaurant. what's going on? can I leave in the future on open table? who was miscreating?"

"While staying at Louisa's Place on Kurfürstendamm we came across EBERTs on TripAdvisor; we were not disappointed. The service was excellent; attentive, friendly and helpful. As non German speakers our host, the son of the owner, conversed in perfect English guiding us through the menu. The food is was uniformly excellent. Succulent pork, liver and steak all beautifully cooked. Generous portions, but enough room for desert which again was superb. The chocolate mousse was judged the best ever. All in all a fantastic final evening in Berlin. Make the effort and divert off Kurfürstendamm a couple of hundred yards, you won't be disappointed."

"the place can look small and creepy from the outside. but as a typical berliner location as soon as they enter the place, they are enchanted. comfortable and simple, without the usual chic magazine decoration, it shows a pretty rough atmosphere that reminds a harbour city., it has a beautiful courtyard with trees and small lighbulbs around the wooden fence. eating is delicious, geenrous and always delicately laid and arranged in their teller. service is fast and pleasant. everyone is very welcoming. I discovered this place today and intend to involve it in my regular spots!"

"Unser 2.Besuch...beim 1.Mal war das Essen ok. deshalb heute ein 2. allerdings auch definitiv letzter Besuch. Wir hatten 2 vegetarische Gerichte aus der Tagesempfehlung. Optisch wie auch geschmacklich schlicht grauenvoll. Auf Nachfrage der Bedienung ob es schmeckt sagte ich; leider gar NICHT und bekam als Reaktion ein fröhliches Lächeln. "We were there for Christmas dinner on Sunday. Gänsebraten with dumplings, green and apple cabbage has tasted super, as well as its appetizers (Gänseschmalzaufstrich was delicious! . Traditional German cuisine at a high level and also affordable. Unfortunately we were already too full for the Marzipan Creme Brulee, but we would like to come again and recommend it further. On the 3rd Advent they had plenty of guests and it was quite loud inside, however our reservation table was placed in a caring distance from large groups and you could also talk and celebrate in a relaxed manner!"

"Despite the strong temptation of the chocolate area on the ground floor pass to the first floor where there is a small exhibition on how chocolate is produced and then enjoy a bite in the small restaurant. The staff are multi-lingual and were more than happy to help our 11 yr old add to his basic German language skills with patience and good humour. The food was stunning, the Hausgemachte Suppe at €4.50 was excellent value for money. After enjoying time in the restaurant its time for the ground floor chocolate area with all of the product range from Ritter Sport, we duly stocked up with assorted goodies at prices you don't normally find in the shops. 100% excellent experience all round."

"After travelling in Europe and especially Germany for two weeks was craving to eat Indian food, tried many Indian restaurants but Vipan was bullseye. It felt like having food in India with the best taste and great hospitality by the owner and the staff. Having...liked the food went there for three consecutive days everytime tried a different Indian gravy and the kept the dal constant. Each and every dish was delightful. Will visit soon when back to Berlin."

"we are very often in berlin and enjoy our breakfast extensively from the hotel. Now two of our former breakfast locals (brel and no one) have closed and it was necessary to find a new locality. by coincidence we have passed the black caffe and seen an extensive breakfast card. it is a cult place and after certificate as well as 25 years ago. it was opened in 1977 and it is a cafe with 24 hours open with exception. Closed on Tuesday at 3h tomorrow 10h on the morning! the interieur is original I like something typical berlin! I'm not the big breakfast. the “French Breakfast”, consisting of a milk coffee, a croissant with butter and jam, costs eur 5,80 completely enough for me. also a freshly pressed orange juice to eur 3,60. the breakfast “Tiffany” consists of rolls, full grain bread, croissant and two eggs in the glass as well as cheese and ham to eur 8.90 the additional tee cost eur 2,20. all very nicely prepared, the eye eats with and to m. e. fair travel."

"Wir waren heute mit sechs Personen hier. Wir wollten gerne draußen sitzen, jedoch gab es erstmal keine Möglichkeit. Der Kellner hat aber schnell eine Lösung gefunden. Insgesamt war die Bedienung auf Zack und dazu noch sehr lustig. Bestellt hatten wir alle unterschiedliche Gerichte und trotzdem kam alles zeitgleich. Es gab für uns mehrere Schüsseln Reis und die jeweiligen Gerichte in separaten Schalen. Alles sah sehr appetitlicht aus und geschmeckt hat es allen sehr gut. Auch die Schärfe (wenn so bestellt) war sehr ausgewogen. Sehr zu empfehlen!"

"This place is the worst sushi place we have ever experienced! The place was dirty and the staff was so arrogant you won't believe it! The food was horrible. Sushi pieces were the size of a pancake making it almost impossible to eat! The meat was cold and tasted like dead cat! The restroom was dirty and the kitchen smelled really really bad! And to top it all - 50 euros just out of the window! If I could give minus 5 Stars this was the place to do it! Save yourself the inconvenience and skip this place!"

"My boyfriend and I stumbled across this restaurant when we were searching for another. Walking past, the outside seats were almost full and rows of people sat eating delicious looking dishes so we thought we would give it a try. We sat down outside and looking through the menu, we weren't sure what to order - it was very similar to Wagamamas with complicated dishes having different vegetables and spices in them that you have never heard of before which left us a bit doubtful. Eventually, we ordered Pork Spring Rolls and Chicken Satays which were only 3.90 euros - super cheap compared to English prices were they would be about £5. There are no words that describe the Spring rolls... they were beyond perfect. I have never tasted anything so brilliant. The sauce that accompanied them was also amazing - I wish I knew what it was! The chicken Satays didn't fall far behind either. For the main, my boyfriend ordered a noodle dish and for myself, a curry. Both were delicious. We also decided to order another set of pork spring rolls half way through just because the first ones were so good (these arrived super quick so we nibbled them with our mains). So glad we stumbled upon this restaurant. Everyone that enjoys Asian food should definitely give it a try!!!"

"Eine große Auswahl an Speisen ist m hervorragender Qualität und toller Zubereitung. Das Essen kommt sehr schnell und ist frisch zubereitet. Leider kam bei uns erst der Hauptgang und dann die Starters. Wenn die Starter als solche in der Karte beschrieben sind, habe ich die Erwartung, dass sie auch vorab kommen. So war es es leider etwas viel auf einmal. Der Service war trotz voller Auslastung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Etwas irritierend ist die Begrüßung mit dem Zeitfenster, bis wann man den reservierten Tisch nutzen darf. Das kann man eventuell charmanter am Tisch lösen. Das Restaurant erscheint sehr modern mit einer Bar-Atmosphäre. Das ist spannend und insgesamt eine schöne Erfahrung. Es hat uns auf jeden Fall gefallen. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant schon unbedingt auf Grund des tollen Essens zu bezahlbaren Preisen."

"Dieses ( noch unbekannte) Restaurant wurde mir von einem Freund empfohlen. Obwohl er am Potsdamerplatz arbeitet, verbringt er gern manche Mittagspausen hier um sich "schnell, günstig und besonders gut" zu stärken. In der Tat!!! Ich war ebenfalls total begeistert!! Außer Quiches und Flammkuchen bietet der Mittagstisch 3 Zweigangmenüs-Varianten an: frischer Gartensalat oder Suppe/ Hauptgericht vegetarisch, bzw. Fisch oder Fleisch. Der Menüpreis beträgt 11 €. Ich entschied mich zuerst für einen schattigen Tisch auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf das anliegende Hebel-Theater und auf die SPD-Zentrale , wählte dann das "Menu Viande" mit der Erbsen-Minzsuppe und der Maispoulardenbrust mit Ratatouille, bestellte zusätzlich einen kleinen Beilagesalat ( € 3,50 extra)Was für eine grande surprise! Selten habe ich in Berlin eine so erfrischende Suppe, eine so harmonische Salatsauce und gewiss noch nie eine so saftige, knackige Poularde serviert bekommen, perfekt angerichtet, noch dazu auf heißem Teller! Absolut Preis-wert!! Bravo! Félicitations!Auch die Weinempfehlung war einwandfrei: Weißer Côtes du Rhône, Cuvée aus grenache blanc und viognier ( 10cl für 3,50) Dieser Freund ist nun ein guter Freund ;-)Allerdings sehr schade, dass "le bon Mori" in X-Berg liegt und nicht in Friedenau...."
