"small, very authentic Vietnam restaurant centrally located in Bergmann-Kiez and yet from the touristic rivers. for me this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in berlin and I always like to come with friends there. as in the main restaurant in der dieffenbachstr. is also served here very fresh and tasty from the Vietnamese cuisine. I like to enjoy the summer rolls that are served here with a delicious reddish sauce. there are the typical Vietnamese soups and rice dishes, but they taste much better here than in another Vietnamese restaurant, as there are actually fresh ingredients and various crumbles used here. unique in berlin is - my opinion after - the bún ch cá, a suppe with fishfrikadellen and Vietnamese rhabarber, not for nothing the recommended of the house. very suitable is the restaurant also for vegetarian, they can order almost all dishes on request also with vegetarian meat. the environment is very cozy in Asian style, special hinguckers are the large illuminated pictures on the wall that do not seem cheesy at all. Conclusion: very delicious and fresh Vietnamese cuisine at a fair price!"

"A cute little restaurant that seems very informal and offers a comfortable atmosphere. The food is very authentic and delicious in all variations (vegan, with meat). Rarely have we eaten so incredibly well. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Overall we were more than thrilled. Absolute recommendation!"

"Die Essensauswahl ist sehr eingeschränkt. Es gibt bzw gab lediglich 2 Menüs, bestehend aus 4 Gängen. Die Gänge selbst sind sehr gut angerichtet gewesen, die Qualität super, im Geschmack erstklassig. Mal darf auf keinen Fall als guter Esser bzw mit leerem Magen hingehen. Die Portionen sättigen, aber richtig satt wird man nicht. Die Menüs kosten jeweils 49 EUR pro Person (ohne Getränke), sehr heftig, bald zu heftig für die Gegend auch wenn französische Küche grds teuer ist. Was viele auch schon bemängelt haben, bemängelten wir ebenfalls: es gibt kein Brot dazu sehr schade Das Brot würde auch noch gut sättigen, was den Preis wieder relativiert Die Wirtin selbst ist nett und freundlich sehr bemüht. Wir saßen allerdings draußen am Gehweg bei der Straße. Man konnte sie sehr schlecht verstehen bei der Erklärung der Gerichte. Die Weine sind lecker, aber nichts für den kleinen Geldbeutel. Für einen schönen eleganten Abend zu empfehlen, aber nicht für zwischendurch wie lass uns heute mal französisch Essen gehen ."

"Wir haben uns zu viert für das Chefmenü entschieden man kann sich einfach entspannen und genießen, wie Rami sagt: don’t worry and enjoy! Es ging schon toll los mit selbst gebackenem Sauerteigbrot und einer hausgemachten köstlichen Butter. Standalone Potenzial: dann folgte eine Geschmacksexplosion nach der anderen und wir waren sehr froh mit unserer Entscheidung, dem Chef die Auswahl gelassen zu haben, perfekter ging’s nicht. Start waren Beetroot Bruschetta und Panisses, beide Gerichte eine Köstlichkeit für sich, und beetroot gleichauf mit einem Wildem Broccoli meine persönlichen Favoriten, aber auch nur um Haaresbreite vor z.B. Crispy Octopus: dieser Duft! Beamt einen sofort in südliche Gefilde am Meer. Der Rest wird nicht verraten, müsst Ihr selbst probieren nur noch soviel: ich bin kein Nachtisch Fan, aber diese Trilogie war der Hammer!!!!! Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend, von dem wir noch lange schwärmen werden. Danke an Rami und Guy für den aufmerksamen Service! Wir haben viel zusammen gelacht!"

"we have come in the delights of the wonderful breakfast in the sugared and wanted/have not to get up anymore. the first impression was already very promising: the caffe is very tastefully furnished with antiques, you feel immediately comfortable. I have to say that it was really noticeable how kind the employees were here. you actually have the impression that people have been happy to be hospitable and have been interested in whether you are well. there is always more and more rare in berlin. the breakfast card was presented in a small sealed envelope and made it clear that everything would be of the highest quality - we decided to have a classic breakfast set and we regret nothing :) the same baked various broth (rhabarbrötchen, bierbrot etc), self-made butter, lovingly decorated cut, granola, fruit salad...what more? the coffee tastes great. many thanks for a wonderful Sunday morning - we come back in definitw!"

"funny surprise of a very nice neighboring restaurant. do not expect to be hired. someone else could sit on her side....what is very social and very berlin. yes. mainly from the German region rheinhessen! splendid sekection of one winery. from Rheinhessen....go for the whites. fantastic and even better fantastic prizes. you don't want a chic dinner, but a good meal. all foods that the wine association has come from a specially selected provider. the pirogas handmade from polen . the meat from one of the best lish metzgers. the cheese that enchants from the best French cheese business berlins. really nice. most people come out of the Alsace after a flaky cake like the asacian pizza. we had two! Fab value... and the more they drink. the more they talk to their neighbours? I love it!"

"At the end of October we were here to eat two and absolutely thrilled a real highlight that is also here in Friedrichshain, where there is no lack of gastronomic offers, but visually it makes curious with understatement. The Khao Taan is located in a quiet street in the south of Kiez and hardly noticed from outside, you can go by if you don't know what's going on in the small business with the dick. We were the first guests at 6:00, and a short time later all seven tables were occupied. I guess even in times without Corona distance rules, it won't be much more tables. The plant is very reduced and comes without Asian folklore. Very nice we found the concept where you can choose from a small menu with two alternatives per gear. Also vegan/vegetarian variants are possible. There is a small but fine and special selection of wines where you can order all wines both glassy, karafe or as a whole bottle. As very pleasant we felt the service that the boss personally made together with a waiter. After a short introduction to the menu, the drinks and various delicacies are served friendly, patient and attentive, but also unobtrusively and without great tambotam, an unobstructed atmosphere is created while at the same time you feel professionally served at a level of food. Even if the store was full, it was noticed that our rice bowl at the main courses was slowly empty and was offered a supplement. The menu itself convinces with creativity, very good craftsmanship (e.g. with thin, but nevertheless delicate and pink roasted beef) and perfect balance between sharpness, acidity, strong and courageous flavor notes, e.g. lime leaves, dried shrimps or tamarinds, which are repeatedly caught by the combination with other components. Traditional Thai cuisine is presented here at a completely different level than previously known. That was just as clear as we had the welcome from the kitchen mentioned here, which in principle awaits the following taste experience in a bite. The amount of portions is well calculated so that you are pleasantly saturated after the menu, but without feeling the fullness of the house. The wine chosen by us for good luck was also excellent and delivered new taste experiences beyond the already known ones. In dessert there was a small birthday candle for a given occasion, perhaps a small attention, but nevertheless everything else but self-evident and shows that one understands oneself here with heart blood as a host. Overall, food is worth more than this price at a fixed price of 35 euros per person because of the quality offered. It should also be mentioned at the outskirts that this also applies to drinks, with 4 euros for a bottle of water and 2.50 for an espresso (which even went to the house and did not even appear on the invoice) the prices are also very fair here. Note, however, that only cash payment is possible."

Prone to weekend sell-outs of top items, though pre-orders and take-out are available, it is amidst clean white surroundings that diners huddle over Coffee or Housemade Lemonade while digging into flavors like Mathias Soy, Figs and Chilies or the Lentil-loaded Krische served with Chutney, Yogurt and Papadam. €7,00 to €8,50 apiece, not cheap but quite affordable considering portions and products involved, youngsters are invited to indulge in Pizza-riffing Julia that can be upgraded by Pesto while everyone would be wise to order one of owner Uli Marschner 's Dani that dazzles like Strawberry Shortcake infused with Peppercorns and a hint of acidity from aged Balsamic."

I have been in the kitchen library for a few times now and have always been surprised new very positiw. the small but fine card changes weekly, so you can get more often. the service is incredibly nice and accommodating. it will be well advised, especially in the wine selection. all products on the teller will be explained. special mention is that the restaurant is operated only by two. to evaluate the performance of kitchen and service. here is working almost on star level at half price. the kitchen library is really a real secret tip in charlottenburg near the savignyplatz. thanks for the previous beautiful evenings"

"Ohne die guten Google Bewertungen hätte ich diesen Laden nie gefunden. Von Außen sieht der Laden nach nicht viel aus, von innen auch nicht meins. Als ich dort war, war das Tagesgericht (nachfragen! Penne mit Spinatcreme, Parmesan und wahlweise gerösteten Mandeln oder Prosciutto Cotto. Francesco hinter dem Tresen hatte bei der Beschreibung so leuchtende Augen, dass die Wahl leicht fiel. Ich habe die vegetarische Option gewählt und wurde von einem sehr guten Gericht überrascht, mit auf den Punkt al dente gekochten Nudeln. Das i-Tüpfelchen wäre gewesen, wenn es die in Deutschland so seltenen Penne Lisce anstatt Penne Rigate gewesen wären, aber das ist natürlich persönliche Präferenz. Die mitessenden Kinder hatten die Focaccia Margherita, eine Pizza wie in vielen Bewertungen hier geschrieben hat das Bistro nicht zu bieten. Die Focaccia wird bei Bestellung fertig gebacken. Die anderen Foccace sahen wesentlich interessanter aus, die Dreijährigen sahen das anders. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, gute Küche und interessanter als die meisten Pizzastück-Aufwärmer auch."

"Wir waren mit 8 Personen dort und hatten zum Glück reserviert, denn es sollte sich herausstellen, dass wir in einem Geheimtipp gelandet waren. Da wir alle sehr unterschiedliche Speisen wünschten wurden wir gefragt, ob wir diese alle gleichzeitig auf den Tisch bekommen wollten. Ich empfand das als tollen Service. Die Getränke kamen sehr schnell und wie versprochen kam ca. 30 Minuten später kam für alle das Essen frisch zubereitet. Uns allen haben die jeweiligen Speisen sehr gut geschmeckt. "I've been here twice - once when it just opened and the other day. When it opened it was very charming and simple - just coffee and some juices. The staff were the owners, a young German couple (with great English!), who were very friendly and inviting, and more than happy to tell us about the cafe and the coffee. The flat white and americano were just right, smooth, tasty with a punch, but no bitterness, just great coffee flavour. On my second visit, the coffee was just as good, if not better, and they now have delicious baked goods and lunch stuff, including the best croissant I've had in Berlin. They make and bottle their own healthy juices right in the cafe, which looked great. They also have beautiful cabinet displays of jewellery and ceramics made by local designers for sale, and a great range of art & coffee magazines to read or buy. They also have board games that you can play there or rent! The decor is lovely and calming, simple enough but with an individual touch, which makes a nice change from the usual grey paint and exposed brick (and not much else) of so many speciality coffee places. The staff are lovely and chatty (German and English), yet I still felt comfortable enough to sit on my own and read for a while. They also have outside seating. The prices are VERY reasonable, I paid €4 for a flat white and a croissant, which I thought was amazing for the quality of both. All in all, faultless in my opinion. A great and much-needed addition to Moabit!"
