"I had heard there was some good Italian food to be had at Ristorante Monte Cassino, and having lived in Italy, I was looking forward to some fresh pasta. So, yes indeed, the pasta was not bad (I've had better, of course). The ragu was...very nice and properly cooked. But sadly that's where the positives on this review end. The wine I ordered with dinner, a house Chianti, was corked. When I noted it to my server, she argued with me that I was wrong and that the wine was perfectly fine. That discussion came up when I had to go find her to pay my bill. Never mind that I waited for almost minutes for someone to come and take my order after I arrived. Good food does not make up for a poor attitude and rude service. While the food may have been decent, it wasn't good enough to warrant a return visit. Trust me, there are better options for Italian food than eating here, including making the trip a few hours south to Italy! If you chose to dine here, don't expect fast or friendly service. If I find myself in that part of Germany again, I won't be eating there again!"
