"Popped in to this Vegan restaurant on a Sunday. The Cafe was quite full. Initially we were about to leave when a table became available. The coffee we ordered arrived quickly (and it was a great coffee). We ordered a soup for one person and...a toasted baquette for the other. Unfortunately we were kept waiting about minutes and had to chase up the order. We agree with slow food, but this seemed to be extra slow. Maybe they were short staffed, or simply lost our order. Either way it means I am only giving them a very good ranking rather than an excellent. The food itself, when it arrived, was very tasty. The cakes looked very tempting, but we had run out of time to spend here."

"We were with 5 people for dinner here and is was fantastic! The girl who served us was kind, funny in a nice way and knows everything about what is on the card. The plus is that you can choose from many wines with every dish, a half or a full glass. Very good wines.I had a buffel mozarella as starter with a good Lugana to accomoagny that. Was very good. Soft and fresh. The main was my favorite Italian pasta, aglio e olio e peperoni. Again, very good. As dessert I chose the raspberry panacota which was also nice.The atmosphere in the restaurant is great. Service very good and the times between the courses perfect.Highly recommended!"

"Wir können nur das Service dieses Restaurant beurteilen. Das bestellte Essen hatten wir bis zum Schluss nie bekommen. Knapp 1 Stunde und 50 Minuten warteten wir auf das Hauptgericht. Zwei Bürger, ein Steak und das geschmorte Tagesgericht zu zubereiten dauert doch niemals knapp 2 Stunden? Auf unserer Nachfrage, wann wir mit dem Hauptgericht erwarten können, antwortete der älterer Kellner, dass wir ja unsere Vorspeise noch nicht auf aßen. War es etwa ein schlechter Witz? Wir hatten eine kleine Portion Pommes zu viert geteilt ! , weil wir nicht mit so einer enormen Wartezeit bis zum Hauptgang erwartet hatten. Ein routinierter und professioneller Kellner hätte viel früher auf die Idee gekommen zu fragen, ob wir soweit sind, dass er den Hauptgang servieren kann, statt die Gäste knapp 2 Stunden auf den Hauptgang warten zu lassen. Das Service der Bedienung ist m.E, die Visitenkarte des Restaurants, daher mein Rat an den Inhaber; überlegen Sie sich gut Herr Inhaber, wen Sie im Service einstellen. Nach dieser Erfahrung kommt ein Besuch in Ihrem Restaurant definitiv NICHT in Frage. Der älterer Kellner sollte unbedingt einen anderen Job suchen, der nicht in der Gastronomie ist. Unterirdisch. "Il Punto Bonn is probanly the "safest bet" for an impeccable dining experience with perfection in service, choice of dishes, quality and overall ambience.I could not think of any recommendations, as everything on the menue, and everything on special of the day is just great, as is the readiness to "adjust, individualize" your order to your desires.For example, the Carpaccio di Manzo may not be on the menue in the first place. "I was looking for a good restaurant to celebrate an anniversary, something out of common and certainly it was an excellent choice! Located outside Bonn but easy access from the motorway 565. Good weather to eat outside in the garden, sheltered by ancient trees, with Hortencia's in blossom, a quiet and pleasant setup. Friendly ladies serving, helping with the choice of wine. The menu very attractive and with several choices like, for instance Mediterranean sardines taken by my wife or Castilian's suckling pig. My choice was the scallops with avocado salad, very tender scallops combining perfectly with the fine vinaigrette of the salad. Both starters delicious!As main course We both had fish. My wife had it with gamba son a salad, mine came with rice and vegetables, both excellent! The Spanish house merlot very finely tuned and the alioli served with the bread irresistible!This restaurant has not only very good food but also a good ambience and relaxed staff, all together contributed to a pleasant evening. Not surprising that the staff and the chef inquired personally if everything was to our satisfaction and showed us their fresh products.With such a talented and motivated chef running El Dorado is a pleasure to recommend the restaurant as one of the best in the Bonn area. "We came across May May in Bonn some years ago our first visit early one Friday evening was great the place was packed, even just after opening time! As a family of three, we had a lovely meal, fresh vibrant tastes and great...service. Well, time has flown by we were back in Bonn and decided to get some lunch – “May May” popped into our heads almost immediately, so we made sure we arrived just as it opened. After a very warm friendly greeting, our menu choices selected, we seat back and looked forward to our meals – and we weren’t to be disappointed! our memories had served us well Both meals were beautifully presented, steaming hot generous portions. And they both tasted divine. Oh, and I forgot to mention, we shared a starter of mixed springrolls they were great too not your usual fare, but a mix of three different varieties. It took some doing, but we managed to finish enjoy, of course! every last morsel. And when the bill came it was a welcome surprise, as before, as it is very reasonable indeed in my humble opinion. We’d highly recommend a visit to May May if you’re in the area – making a reservation may prove to be prudent if you want to ensure you get a table"

"Gestern Abend haben wir wiedermal einen sehr schönen Abend in der Vineria da Angelo verbracht mit sehr leckerem italienischen Essen. Für uns ist es immer wieder ein kulinarischer Hochgenuss bei Angelo zu dinieren.Das Restaurant besticht durch seine stilvolle und gemütliche Einrichtung und hervorragendem Service und einer erstklassigen italienischen Küche. Neben einer sehr guten Standardkarte gibt es immer wieder saisonale Spezialitäten von der aktuellen Tageskarte.Die Vineria da Angelo überzeugt auch durch eine sehr große und gut sortierte Weinkarte mit diversen weiß, rosé und Rotweinen. Zum essen gibt es verschiedene Vorspeisen von der Tageskarte oder aus der Antipasti Vitrine und eine Vielzahl an italienischen Hauptgerichten mit Fisch und Fleisch, sowie tolle Nudelgerichte. Bei den Nudelgerichten sind die Spaghetti aus dem Käselaib zu erwähnen die frisch am Tisch mit Ruccola und Chilli zubereitet werden.Für mich als Fischliebhaber bietet die Vineria da Angelo eine tolle Auswahl an qualitativ sehr hochwertigen Fischsorten wie z.B. Seezunge, Seeteufel, Zander, oder Loup de mer.Bei den Fleischgerichten finden die klassischen Fleischsorten wie Rind, Kalb oder Lamm ihre Anwendung zu leckeren Gerichten. Zum Abschluss kann man noch aus einer Vielzahl an Desserts wählen wie zum Beispiel Zabaione, oder eine gemischte Dessertvariation mit mehreren kleinen Desserts.Preislich ist die Vineria da Angelo im mittleren bis höherem Preissegment angesiedelt, welches aber absolut gerechtfertigt ist für die Qualität der Speisen die alle frisch zubereitet werden. Die frische Zubereitung der Speisen erfordert eine kleine Zubereitungszeit die bei vollbesetzten Restaurant schonmal 15 Minuten dauern kann, was uns persönlich sehr entgegen kommt da wir den Abend gemütlich genießen möchten.Zum Abschluss eines schönen Abends mit leckerem Essen kann man noch aus einer edlen Auswahl an Grappa Schnäpsen wählen welche den Abend perfekt abrunden.Die Vineria da Angelo lässt sich mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen. Mit dem Auto ist es etwas schwierig abends einen Parkplatz in der Nähe zu finden, da diese oftmals von Anwohnern belegt sind. Im Sommer bietet das Restaurant eine schöne und gemütliche Dachterrasse für warme Sommerabende.Zu erwähnen wäre noch das die Vineria keinen Pizzen anbietet was für uns nicht tragisch ist, da wir mehr die anderen Gerichte bevorzugen.Für uns ist die Vineria da Angelo das top italienische Restaurant in Bonn."

"I never knew this place until I was invited to the birthday of my patenkind. Yes, the birthday of a child who was kind of weird. but when the pizza came for the children, I knew why. the pizza for children are in various forms (cat, flea mouse, dragon...etc the children loved it and it tasted good. the place is in dottendorf, which is not the usual place to go past, unless they have to go there. I think it is accessible by public transport, although I saw a bus pass on the main road. that's worth it anyway! the place is beautifully decorated. the main dining area is well illuminated and in a corner you will find the stone oven and the pizzatheke and see how the kerl makes the pizza. there are two loggia (a small and a large one that can be reserved for groups. this is good because there are some private sphere and the group cannot disturb other guests. the personal is friendly and children are very welcome. they also have a garden where the children can play. I ordered wild boar fillet in cowardly sauce with captivating. it's really good! that is their menu for the day. Of course they have the usual pizza and pasta, which is good. I must have criticized cleanliness, as some areas are somewhat dusty and many spider nets."

"Die Idee mit der Vitrine und den kleinen "Tapas" finde ich gut. Es war auch sehr lecker wenn man denn mal etwas zu essen bekommt....... Da die Bedienung nicht auftauchte bediente uns eine wohl Bekannte des Besitzers weil sie uns nicht mehr warten lassen wollte und wir auch langsam etwas genervt waren da wir nicht mal Getränke hatten. Übrigens die Weinpreise finde ich viel zu teuer oder wenigstens sollte man auch ein paar preiswertere Weine auf der Karte haben so als Auswahl .....Das Lokal ist nicht schlecht vom Ambiente und der Idee aber leider überhaupt kein Service und es ist ja schließlich nicht umsonst dort. Werden wohl eher nicht ein 2. Mal hingehen. Schade eigentlich es könnte sehr gut sein."

Abbiamo iniziato con un assortimento di Antipasta e poi abbiamo preso le loro raccomandazioni dal loro consiglio giornaliero. Il cibo era incantevole e la clientela era anche molto amichevole. Solo una parola di cautela, un bel po 'dei ristoranti tedeschi non sembrano essere in grado di elaborare le carte di credito straniere e questo è accaduto per essere uno. "Gestern Abend haben wir spontan dieses Restaurant besucht und einen Grillteller sowie gefüllte Paprika bestellt. Leider können wir uns den vielen positiven Bewertungen, die von authentischer griechischer Küche oder einem leckeren Essen sprechen, keineswegs anschließen. Der Service war zwar bemüht und die Getränke sowie der Salat wurden zügig serviert. Allerdings fiel uns sofort auf, dass alle anderen Tische Brot zu ihrem Salat und den Hauptspeisen erhielten, nur wir nicht. Auf Nachfrage bei einem Nachbartisch erfuhren wir, dass dies üblicherweise dazugehört. Nach einer längeren Wartezeit kam unser Essen. Die Pommes waren erfreulicherweise heiß und gut. Dies traf jedoch auf den Rest der Bestellung nicht zu. Das Souvlaki war stellenweise noch gefroren und schmeckte sehr fad. Das Bifteki war extrem klein und trocken. Die Medaillons waren in Ordnung, aber ebenfalls sehr übersichtlich portioniert. Das Gyros hatte keinerlei Würze und wirkte wie aus der Pfanne – heiß und gewürzt hätte es vielleicht besser geschmeckt. Die sogenannte Metaxasauce, von der wir uns eine geschmackliche Aufwertung erhofft hatten, entpuppte sich als eine billige und unappetitliche Bratensauce. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass dieses Essen mit authentischer griechischer Küche nichts gemein hatte. Wir können dieses Restaurant daher leider nicht weiterempfehlen."

"We were around half nine on Saturday night. Very nice service, ambience really nice, but quite brightly illuminated by the Led Spots on the ceiling. If you were dimmed, it would be a bit more cozy. It was very little, there were only three more tables occupied, which were already about to pay, so from about quarter to 9 we were the only guests who obviously stimulated the service even better! We chose two appetizers and two main dishes. After we gave up our order, there was first a greeting from the kitchen, homemade bread with dip very delicious! Short time later there was another greeting from the kitchen, kiss with rake and a hummus cream surprising and also very good! The two appetizers came suitable (Orangen Kürbis ginger cream with fried goat cheese Wan Tans, well-kept mushrooms with potatoaioli on wild herbal salad) and were excellent!!! On the other hand, the main foods fell a bit (house-clothed salmon, pauke pot), especially the salmon was a bit “linger”. In Paule Pot were a bit too much root vegetables for our taste, but sauce and meat were also up here. The potatoes are also highly recommended. Overall the fun includes drinks costs only over 50€, so you can not complain about the quality and quantity! Clear recommendation!"
