"This restaurant was quite a disapointment after reading all the good reviews on Tripadvisor. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Price-quality ratio is very poor. My partner and I dined here on a saturday evening and were very happy to have a table outside on...the terrace. However, the comfort of the seatings was rather poor. We started with a nice housecocktail as aperitive. So far everything allright. The alacarte menu looked good to us, but we wanted to be surprised and were convinced it would be of the same quality as the alacarte menu. So we took the surprise menu. This was a big mistake! From here on everything went downward. The menu existed out of fried salmon with salad as a starter, followed by pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and some overcooked cabbage. The dessert was a strawberry parfait with vanilla icecream. This menu for the price of euros! We also took the wine pairing for euros, which didnt pair that good at all. Such a disapointment. There was nothing excited or innovative about this food. In my opinion, this kind of food is far beneath the quality that is expected of a Gault millau restaurant. You don't go to such a high-rated restaurant to pay this much and to get this low quality food. This is not fine dining! If you want to spend an evening paying way too much for what you get, then go here. If you expect GaultMillau restaurants to be good, then don't go here."

"we were there with 16 people for business lunch, had a very nice table in winter garden, our service was very friendly and attentive, eating across the business lunch card were all as very tasty. there was some little sauce to go, but the postorder ran smoothly and quickly. the food was served in a timely manner, which is very good at the lunch break. the noise level is relatiw high, estimated design-related. the winter garden was about half occupied, but we had to speak with each other loudly to understand. but otherwise we were really happy."

"When I first entered it was packed. So I took the time, returned later and got me a nice table. This place is in the basement and its front door not just looks, but indeed is old-fashioned. Let this not bother you. This place is of a unique quality. It has been there for decades I could bet) and still breathes the spirit from its founding years. It is run by Croatians as far as I could tell. These kinds of Dalmatian or Yugoslavian restaurants in general used to be quite common in Germany but now have mostly vanished as public taste has changed. The premises are being decorated with Dalmatian memorabilia. The interior is plain, dark-painted wood on white-washed walls, white table-linen, all well-kept. The waiters wear black trousers along with white ironed shirts. Quite classic. But foremost important, of course, is the choice of food. The Croatians or rather the Yugoslavians in general) are experts for preparing meat dishes, as far as I could tell from own experience. And that 's what you can expect here. You can have all the classics of Yugoslavian cuisine, along with some house specialties with cute names Husarenspiess or Hussar 's skewer). Again, a flavour from way back when such items were common on menues. Originally I was set upon eating steak that night, but eventually chose the Hausteller Dalmatien Plate of the House), a choice of pork, beef and lamb in various preparations. The meat was just delicious, perfectly grilled to the point, yet done in a very traditional fashion, no fancy stuff, just pure grilled meat, good french fries and coleslaw. As a child, I 've been to Yugoslavia many times and this is just the way you would eat there. I was in the mood to try some more and ordered Palatschinken for dessert, 3 pancakes filled with liquid chocolate, again some dish very typical for both Austria and Yugoslavia. My expectations were high after the main course and again, the kitchen fulfilled them. I was very satisfied and would recommend this place at any time. The food is very good, prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. If you like eating out the Oldschool way, go there."

"Eat I ordered the Jeyuk Bibimbap and meat Mandu. The Jeyuk is a spicy beef and it was so good! Traditional Bibibap does not have much meat and concentrates mainly on vegetables and I found this to be true here, so do not expect a ton of meat. The egg was perfect and runny and well mixed with sauce, rice and veggie. Rice is a bit sticky, but that made it delicious because it wasn't dry. It also came with some of the soup on the side. Mandu was good too. All nice Korean food. Service Pretty good. The woman who served us seems very hard to work. atmosphere cozy and beautiful lighting. Sitting is hardwood with pillow. Overall, it would definitely come back to try other things on the menu. You have excellent prices and the food was good!"

"My wife and I visited the restaurant on September 20, 2022. While the very friendly waiter, who was alone that evening, did what he could, it became soon clear that neither he nor the kitchen was able to manage. From our order a salad that was to accompany one of the main dishes arrived first and stood alone on the table. It had a strange, absolutely non-Asian mayonnaise-yogurt dressing, I would say Rheinland style . The next dish only arrived after almost 45 minutes. But is was not the Maki-combo we ordered as a starter but our main dish. While my wife 's soup was ok, my dish, called Bibimbap , was ultra sweet, more like a milk-rice you eat for dessert and somewhat without flavor otherwise. The fried egg on top was hard. The waiter blamed the Teriyaki sauce, I would say the cook put too much sugar. When asking for the Maki-Combo that we had ordered as a starter, the waiter somewhat apologized, but then he brought it in a minute. Unfortunately also the rolls of the combo where somewhat plain in taste. Nothing special. My wife and I had a good mood this evening, so we took it with humor. I even left a tip. In hindsight, I am disappointed and sorry. I should have been a better culinary experience. Maybe it was just one of those days when things do not work out...."

"I came to bonn yesterday with my family. I couldn't recommend eating here anymore. I had a wonderful pasta court and can't sadly remember exactly what everyone else had. "We have been following Christian Sturm-Wilms' activities for a few years now. After a workshop with him at the cook of the year “Klosteredition” stood for us, we absolutely have to eat to him. Since we wanted to go to the Anuga Finale Patissier and Koch of the year, we already arrived on Saturdays and drove to the Kameha Grand in the evening. After we hired our car in the underground garage, we were allowed to get to know the hotel lobby/bar on our way to the restaurant. Arriving on the fifth floor, we were welcomed very friendly and brought to our table. Not only that we had a nice table, we liked the extraordinary design of the restaurant immediately and a beautiful evening there was nothing in the way. Of course, the food is in the foreground during a restaurant visit, but the service is now the first thing the guest gets to feel. In addition to very classic elements such as fanning up the napkins or picking up the chairs, this convinced us through stunning cordiality, looseness and competence. Great idea with the cloths. It was really fun to watch the young team led by Melanie Hetzel, how flotted and skillfully the team moved in the restaurant. In a glass of Ruinart Rosé, we chose the Omakase surprise menu from the map. After first greetings from Pulpo, pumpkin, Gyoza with scallop and red beds, we understood the concept: Japanese cuisine meets Mediterranean influences. The other 'surprises' Obsi Blue Blue Shrimps, Lachstatar with Saiblingskaviar, Carbon Black Cod, Variations from Wagyu and Gänseleber and a harmonious dessert had just swept away from the stool. Further details we could not remember due to our age and the many positive taste experiences. Everything boldly spiced and visually set 1a in scene - just our thing. Another highlight was the wine/sakebegleitung, especially the Sake. Know-how and with a lot of passion by Sabine Schrey. Conclusion: If you want to go for a trip to the Japanese-European cuisine, you will find it well. The team is to increase the bar, which so far held Christian Bau on Schloss Berg for us. Thanks to the entire team: Melanie, Christian, Sabine, Alexander, Marco, Nils and the many others. Yunico, we have to go back as soon as possible."

"Stavamo guidando oltre e abbiamo visto le luci del ristorante e abbiamo deciso di farlo. Che bella sorpresa! C'erano molti tavoli che erano stati riservati, ma poiché eravamo i primi uccelli, ci hanno offerto un tavolo se potessimo lasciare in una coppia ... di ore che andava bene. Abbiamo iniziato con un assortimento di Antipasta e poi abbiamo preso le loro raccomandazioni dal loro consiglio giornaliero. Il cibo era incantevole e la clientela era anche molto amichevole. Solo una parola di cautela, un bel po 'dei ristoranti tedeschi non sembrano essere in grado di elaborare le carte di credito straniere e questo è accaduto per essere uno. "The VarieTee (formerly known as First Flush is conveniently located at the Marktplatz, close to the old town hall and offers very nice views if you sit outside. I've been here several times, sometimes for coffee or tea and cake, sometimes for lunch or dinner....Always the beverages and the food are of high quality and the dishes are nicely executed. No sloppy plates leave the kitchen, your meal is always as pleasing for the eye as it is pleasing for your stomach. During this visit, the four of us had two salads, which were fresh and the dressing was very well seasoned, one piece of quiche with asparagus and the falafel plate. All found our approval. Along with it we ordered different iced teas. The seasonal' oriental flavour was very tasty, as was the classic with mint and lime. The service personnel is very accommodating as well, sometimes it just takes a while till the order reaches the table, but with the place mostly crowded, you have to give them some credit. It's true that it's not the cheapest place around, calculate about EUR per person for lunch incl. the drink, but it's worth it and they've maintained their standard for a couple of years now. And since we all want to be paid adequately for good service, I'll gladly do it here as well."

"I never knew this place until I was invited to the birthday of my patenkind. Yes, the birthday of a child who was kind of weird. but when the pizza came for the children, I knew why. the pizza for children are in various forms (cat, flea mouse, dragon...etc the children loved it and it tasted good. the place is in dottendorf, which is not the usual place to go past, unless they have to go there. I think it is accessible by public transport, although I saw a bus pass on the main road. that's worth it anyway! the place is beautifully decorated. the main dining area is well illuminated and in a corner you will find the stone oven and the pizzatheke and see how the kerl makes the pizza. there are two loggia (a small and a large one that can be reserved for groups. this is good because there are some private sphere and the group cannot disturb other guests. the personal is friendly and children are very welcome. they also have a garden where the children can play. I ordered wild boar fillet in cowardly sauce with captivating. it's really good! that is their menu for the day. Of course they have the usual pizza and pasta, which is good. I must have criticized cleanliness, as some areas are somewhat dusty and many spider nets."

So this is really not interesting. With a little bit of effort they could improve their offer a lot, but as it is now I do not recommend the place."

"Also grundsätzlich können wir uns in Niederholtorf darüber freuen, dass das Restaurant weiter besteht und offenkundig auch eine hohe Nachfrage geniesst. Aber gerade bei einem Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft möchte ich meinen Besuch da nicht 14 Tage vorher planen. Ich freue mich für die Wirtsleute, dass die Buchungsquote stimmt. Und gehe dann halt kurzfristig und spontan in die vertrauten Restaurants in Bonn, Beuel oder Godesberg. Angebot und Nachfrage! So ist das eben. Wird also dann etwas dauern, bevor wir die Küche dort erstmals testen können. Kleines Update: Wir haben es tatsächlich geschafft, ganz spontan am selben Abend einen Tisch zu reservieren. Wir sind ausgesprochen freundlich bedient worden und bekamen sehr schmackhafte Vor- wie Nachspeisen serviert. Dahinter steckt solide und gute Kochkunst. „Fine Dining“ ist hier auch nicht das Ziel. Ich persönlich würde in nächster Zeit die Inneneinrichtung ändern. Die erinnert noch zu sehr an die vorherigen Balkan-Restaurants. Aber das ist nicht entscheidend. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und konnten zu Fuss nach Hause gehen…."

"They put a Veggi Burger in their menu. However their idea of Veggi Burger is no patty, no cheese, one tiny slice of greasy Zucchini and a smaller slice of Aubergine with tiny portion of lettuce and a hell lot of ketchup and Mayo! I...am a vegetarian and I love veggi burgers and various veggi patties. Never saw such a horrible lie, they even describe in their menu that the veggi burger is A veggi burger with blue cheese, tomatos, cucumbers, onions, zucchini and aubergine When we complained and the chef came, he said no our veggi burger is just this tiny slice of zucchini and aubergine! We asked so why do you write a burger with these toppings? He had no answer and said yes probably we should change the description in the menu! Oh and by the way, there was no cucumber or blue cheese as well! euro for a bread, slices of lettuce, a slice of zucchini and Aubergine! Great! And even for this miserable so called Burger I asked very clearly please no mayo, and there were a hell lot of mayo between the bun! And the side salad which they charge you euro for that was so tiny, miserable and tasteless! Horrible Experience, I had many good veggi burgers in so many other burger places in Bonn. I do not recommend this place for eating at all."

"Wir waren am Sonntag Abend mit 4 Personen zum Essen. Wir hatten Reserviert. Als wir ankamen war der Tisch frei, wir hatten einen Tisch in der Mitte. Das Restaurant war voll, meiner Meinung nach, übervoll. Der Gastraum ist extrem voll gestellt. Damit wir an den Tisch kamen mussten andere Gäste rücken. Auch wir haben dann Stühle und Tisch verschoben damit wir so sitzen bleiben könnten und nicht rücken musste. Der erste Kontakt zum Kellner dauert schon eine Weile bis die Speisekarte an den Tisch kam. Nach einer weiteren Weile würde dann das Essen sowie Getränke gemeinsam aufgenommen. Bis dahin, hatten wir noch nichts, nur Hunger und Durst. Ein Gruß aus der Küche , frisches Brot mit Streichkäse kam dann sehr schnell, Getränke danach dann auch. Die erste Suppe kam nach ca. 30min, der Hauptgang dann auch nach weiteren 15min. Das Essen war Top, sehr schön auf den Tellern angerichtet, sehr frisch und heiß, sehr Lecker, sehr gut. Wir hatten alle Unterschiedliche Gerichte und wir waren alle gut satt. Der Kellner war sehr nett und wir waren mit allem sehr zu Frieden. Der Preis ist hier wohl an der oberen Linie zu sehen, aber das ist wohl hier in Bonn auch normal. Im Gastraum ist es sehr laut, ein ruhiges Gespräch kann man am Tisch nicht führen, da muss Mann/Frau schon lauter reden. Zum WC geht es eine sehr enge und steile Vollwendeltreppe in den Keller. Für Menschen mit Gehhilfe nicht zu schaffen. Die WC Anlage top sauber und hell und ordentlich. Leider war der Desinfektionsspender leer. Wir haben hier gut 2 Stunden verbracht und sehr gut gegessen. Hier sollte in jedem Fall reserviert werden. Wer am Rand oder im Nebenraum sitzen will weil es da evtl. Ruhiger ist, sollte beim Reservieren nachfragen!!!"

So we came like fifteen or ten minutes late and they gave away our table, I understand that I should have called and told...them I was going to be late but I didn't. And when we came she was speaking in such a rude tone oh you came late we gave your table to somebody else and now you have to wait there were at least three tables with the reserved sign and I asked if we could take one, and she said no you can't those are reserved, I was so angry I said, well you gave our table away and you and you can give theirs away also so why aren't you doing that? She looked at us and walked away! If you are looking for a indian restaurant don't go there I recommend taste of India it is so much better in tearms of food and service and more spacious this mogul is soooo small, not even five meters long and three meters wide absolutely hate it don't go to mogul!!!!! EVER!!"

"Bei unserem Bonner Stadtbummel sind wir in einer Seitenstraße auf das Bayerische Wirtshaus Salvator gestossen. Kurz überlegt und dann hinein in die gute Stube... Ein echt uriges bayerisches Lokal. Sehr freundliche Bedienung die uns die Tischauswahl selbst überlies. Die ausgesuchten Getränke waren ratzfatz am Tisch. Wir bestellten 2x Bayerischer Landschweinebraten mit Natursoße dazu Semmelknödel und Rotkohl. Lange mußten wir nicht auf's Essen warten. Die Fleischportion war wirklich groß 2 große Scheiben vom Schwäbisch Hällisches Landschwein . Uns hat es hervorragend geschmeckt Wir können das Salvator ruhigen Gewissens weiter empfehlen, denn das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war sehr erfreulich."

"While visiting Bonn, we sought out a highly recommended Resteraunt for good German fare. This was recommended to us. Upon entering, it was clear this was a busy place. The day behind the bar immediately recognized our unfamiliarity with the establishment and took the time to look after us. Speaking English, he asked us to wait 15 minutes and he would get us a table. So we did what most Germans would do, we had a beer! The unique glasses they served their brew in resemble pistol gripped joysticks . I loved them. The kölsch beer was delicious- we had several We were seated and enjoyed a cheese plate appetizer followed by healthy sized potion of schnitzel- almost too much to finish. We could have shared a single serving. We are definitely coming back. When in Bonn, come here."
