"I 've been coming to the White Lion (or 'The Top House ', as I knew it growing up) on and off for about 20 years, and it never disappoints. Though I 've seen numerous landlords come and go, this place, much like Bramcote Village in which it is situated, maintains a feeling of familiarity, along with a sense of permanence that I find very comforting. The pub itself is split into two rooms, neither of which are massive. The smaller of the two is up a couple of steps from the main room, which acts as more of a dining room. Both rooms have a bar. There is always a good selection of beers on tap, and the staff are always very pleasant. It 's quite an old building and so can be a little cramped in places, especially if there is a full house in. I haven 't eaten here for a while. However, whenever I have, it has always been decent. I believe it is still quite popular for diners. They also do a pub quiz here on a Sunday night. That is a lot of fun. The car park is surprisingly spacious for an old, cramped pub. It 's by no means massive, but it is bigger than you 'd expect, which is just as well because Bramcote Village (itself quite cramped together) offers absolutely no on-street parking. As I say, I have been coming here for many years, and I hope to come for many more yet."
