"I used to think this was the best cafe on this stretch of Belsize Park but I 'm not sure now. I 've been coming here for years on Sunday mornings but have stopped sadly: the new menu is much more limited and pricier too. Old favourites like the Bondi breakfast and porridge just with fruit or a simple compote have all disappeared: we don 't do that now I was told. It 's a real shame and I hope they listen to customer feedback as with a couple of very good cafes on the opposite side of the road competition is very strong here now."

"Love the roof terrace. Tight space but cosy. Inside is comfortable and spacious. Food is excellent. You do have to pay more for it. My friend said their burger is legendary in taste, enjoyment and price. Drinks are also on the upper scale with a well-curated selection. I had the chicken wings and for a starter dish, 7 wing segments is more than I could finish by myself. When you pay, the card machine will request for a tip but they already added the service charge anyway. So if you do give them a tip, that's on top of the service charge. A bit cheeky methinks. Anyway, the service was really good. Food came fairly quickly. The wings were really good and really spicy. My friends sausage roll was a sad small piece but he shoved it down his throat in no time because he said it was really good. I didn't even get the chance to take a photo."

"Only ordered a burger takeout as I was really hungry whilst walking my dog in Waterlow Park. Had a quick search on Google map and found out this place is dog friendly and is really close to the park so came and ordered a takeout to eat int he park. Tastes really good, even the fries tastes something special. Would love to come and sit down and try out different menus with my dog."

"For years it's been the go-to place for residents of Highgate. It's pleasant they do great breakfasts. The little outside area is pleasant. We went there on Sunday evening and I was shocked at not only how the quality of the food but the rip off in price increases. I had just one glass of mediocre wine £11. I could have bought a decent bottle of Malbec at my local supermarket for £8. The Seafood Casserole at £18 was average, a small portion and the prawns were just a shell and clearly for show. I mean why serve empty shells on a plate? Service was erratic due to it being so very busy. Having paid just under £30 for a small portion of food and a glass of wine frankly I felt short changed and will not be back anytime soon. Laz you have become very very greedy."

"rude and disinterested associates who not only got our order wrong and took half an hour to do something about it, but also minutes to tell me that the food I ordered was not available and then overwhelmed me when they brought my second choice. to supplement injury, the food was bland, lukewarm and largely tasteless and overpriced for how small the portions were. the long waiting period was incredibly frustrating, as it was on a weekday in the early afternoon and the pub was quite empty.Literal nothing positive about the experience and would not recommend. very disappointed that in this pub valuable vacation time was was was was wasted. never got the money I was recharged. avoid like the plague."

"Great bar, reasonably priced drinks. Only issue is that the staff look like their under military supervison. I am in the UK on business and I’ve been in a few times and the staff seem amazing with great attitudes but It really puts a downer on the mood seeing staff being disciplined in front of customers when they are doing their job. Clearly business comes above pleasure in this establishment. Great place to enjoy a drink and a conversation if the management allow."

"Managed to get a table on a bank holiday and the process of booking was painless through their website. There is the normal 5 pound fee that will be charged for no shows. Easy to get to from the Highgate station but fortunately a short walk for us as we live near by. The setting inside is very cosy, we were lucky to have a table next to the fireplace. It is also a surprisingly large pub. Service was good, just a little slow, the waiter did tell us they were under staffed so that considered it was not a bad experience. They were friendly and tentative. The food was fresh, well presented and tasty. I started with the chicken liver pate and it was one of the best I've had. The Crab on toast also looked delicious. The mains was the Beef blade that was very tender. At our table was the Mac and cheese, Rib eye and fish and chips as well. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Prices were inline with other pubs and acceptable. Look to spend at least 50 pounds a head. Other than wait times and limited gluten free options on the menu it was an overall great experience. We will return for sure."

"Kings Cross £4.85 San Miguel Now this pub is not the most beautiful building in London, but for what this pub lacks in appearance makes it definitely in hospitality. That was my last stop on a track from Clerkenwell to Kings Cross. At the time of the visit last July, there were Kovid rules in place and I cannot imagine how difficult it must be, a pub with some hunters three parts to the wind and a little less understanding of the rules that a pub must follow to keep it open doors. The manager here was so on the ball and in control of what was going on and all done with a wide smile. Since this was my last pub of the day, I usually grab a bite to eat to suck the days. I ordered a chicken burger and chips that are tasty and cost under a ten, the manager made his way to make sure that the food was to my wishes and asked if I had something to let him or any of the team know. My pint was decent enough and not too expensive about five. This is split-level scurry, that is convenient enough and I need my cap to the fact that there is a real pub carpet here. There is also a small partially covered outdoor space on the back for those who want some rays in the warmer months. . There are some remarkable beautiful pubs nearby that look and feel more attractive than the @lucas. Weapons, but what the pub lacks in beauty is definitely making for in-service and value."

"Always fascinated about indian food , and craving for it when away . I landed on Drummond street , so called hub of Desi food for a decade long. Quite street just about a nice walk from Euston and easily accessible by a number of buses . Chutneys , popular for its vegetarian buffet , pretty much works up to its expectations, although variety could be dealt with a little more . Nice warm indian food , must agree the food was excellent. The service was good too and for a mere 6.50 this deal is a steal . We had Gujarati, bengali and punjabi dishes for our buffet and were amazing . The meetha was even better with rabdi , jamoon and phirni just completing the food saga . Would give it another try but only on the day meat doesn't reach my salivatory gyrus :"

"The selection of teas and coffee was delightful. We enjoyed a variety of sandwiches, including smoked salmon, salt beef, cucumber, and egg. For the scones, we each received one plain and one intriguingly chocolate chip-flavored instead of the traditional fruit. There was no shortage of clotted cream, raspberry jam, and fresh strawberry homemade jam to accompany them. For dessert, we were treated to macaroons, chocolate brownies, fruit cake, and a fruit tart. A lovely surprise was that the chef had written "Happy Birthday" on the cake plate—a thoughtful touch. Overall, this place was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it."

"Noticed the pasta/pizza salad and a glass of wine deal for £19.95. I had been to the British history museum and needed to kill some time before meeting family and my partner who had a meeting close by. Pasta was delicious as was the wine. Sat outside, watching the world go by and reading a good book whilst enjoying a further 2 glasses of wine. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped me when needing to shelter from the rain or from keeping my drink safe when needing to pop out. Thanks so much!"

"the friend at hand offers hearty eating in good portions, but to some higher courses than I'm paid for pub food. my impression of the pub when I first went there was that the inner was a bit dark and dark, but some people like this in a pub. the employees themselves were however far from gloomy and service was friendly and fast. I believe the strength of this pub is in its fish, and I recommend both the fish and the chips for dinner and also the fish finger sandwiches for a bot."

"I dare not often camden town, but was convinced by my friend for good things he heard about thanh binh. the restaurant itself looks small and cozy from the outside, but when they enter, they see that it leads to another huge space, so they cannot enter when they see that it looks busy from the window! the decor is standard and very similar to other Vietnamese restaurants. remarkable is the owner a living woman who greets at diners and looks at a warm and friendly ambiente. now the important part. we ordered the bung thit nuong (chargrilled pork) and were not disappointed! the part was a decent size for the price and the black beautifully marinated. but we were a tad disappointed by our bungalows. as Vietnamese we noticed that some of the ingredients were missing from the court and the flavors were not as strong as we hoped (missing that kick!) we acknowledge that thanh binh may have changed the recipe to match the western taste buds, and the court in general was nice, only not traditional version of the bungalow bo hue. would we return? undecided."

"Summary : From what started from us asking the awning be extended so that we do not get drenched, the owner not only refused to do so but told me to use my brain , called me an idiot, said that I don 't have a brain and then proceeded to use the F word. He then stalked us to the next restaurant we went to down the street and snatched the menu from the hands of one of the women in the group and told the waitress not to take our order. The owner is a very unstable person. While from other reviews the food is presumably good and one of the persons in our group also vouched for that from their previous experience, avoid the place if you do not want to risk spoiling your lunch or dinner. I sent this review to the restaurant and gave them more than 24 hours to let me know if something here is not according to how they remember the events but they have not responded as of writing this review. Full Version Our group ordered pizzas to go while it was quite pleasant and sunny. After 30 minutes of waiting, they said it would take another 10 minutes. By that time the weather had turned quite rainy and we asked if we could convert the order to dine in since their delay had cost us the opportunity to sit at Regent 's park and eat. The head waitress seemed to grudgingly agree and asked us to sit outside. We requested one of the waitresses to extend the awning so as not to have us get drenched. She obliged cheerfully. Then we were surprised to see the awning being pulled in again. On inquiring, the main waitress told me that there was some rod they had extended under the awing for some purpose and that it wouldn 't be able to take the weight. I asked her if she expected us to get drenched eating, especially when it was clearly their fault for delaying the 'to go ' order. I told her that that behavior was unacceptable and ridiculous and that they would get bad reviews from all of us if we were treated that way. At this point, the owner called me inside and then I had a surreal experience. First he outright lied that the awning could not go further to which I responded that one of his waitresses had put it a foot further before it was pulled back. Caught in a white lie, he proceeded to say the same thing about the rod not being able to take the weight (which it clearly was able to 5 min ago assuming the awning was even resting on it). Then he proceeded to say use your brain . I have seldom encountered such a crass and ill mannered person and definitely not in the hospitality industry. I told him that that kind of language is unacceptable and furthermore that he could rest assured that I use my brain since I am a theoretical physicist and a machine learning engineer. I further countered that it is in fact he who ought to use his brain. At this point he completely lost it and called me an idiot, said that I don 't have a brain and said something with the F word but I can 't quite remember if it was name calling or telling me to F off. Normally, one would think the story would end here since I just paid for our coffees and we left the place for another pizzeria. As luck would have it, we ended up at Pesantissimo across the street. While we were about to order, the same guy showed up and snatched the menu out of the hands of one of the women in our group and told the waitress not to take our order. This is the absolute worst restaurant and I would advise people to avoid it at all costs. There are plenty of other restaurants on the street that have great food and that do not have such an unstable and ill mannered management."

"A fantastic venue to hold a party! It's a lovely private room, the communication organising this was great. We ordered some buffet food (the premium set, 25 for 60 people, supplied most people with some nibbles) which was really delicious and the staff were lovely!! We were allowed to decorate and play our own music, it teally personalised our event. I would thoroughly recommend booking here. The only draw backs are that it's down a flight of stairs if you have any disabled attendees, and it would have been nice to have an extra bar staff who could support when the bar was busy and clear away glasses in-between. Was also warm at first but think they must have turned on the aircon. Apart from that I'd happily book again or suggest it to others. Thanks for giving me a lovely evening to remember."

"in soho, just a few meters from the top of some of the best theater londons, is the nudelhaus. a restaurant that wants to combine the rest of the Asian teehouses that inspired it with the vibration of the flourishing street food stands. she wants to bring the tantalizing taste from Southeast Asia to the west end of london. the question is, have they cracked it and only reaches that?the nudelhaus aims to combine rest of a teehouse with the vibration of street food stands. these two dinge, calm and dizzy vibrator seem strange to each other, but somehow the nudelhaus has perfectly combined the two. the nudelhaus in soho manages to create the bozz and rest after which they are, but some of the aromes that I expected to do in Asia lacked. it is not far away and if they are in the opposite, whether they visit the theatre or not, the nudelhaus is definitely worth jumping in!"

"I had breakfast there yesterday while I was waiting for the train to Paris. The place is amazing, and the atmosphere is very chill and gives off good vibes. I loved the menu as it offers a variety of choices that are different from the usual restaurant breakfast options. The food came quickly, and it was fresh and tasty (I recommend trying the scrambled eggs on toast as part of your breakfast). However, one of the things I liked the most was the service. Our waitress Sonya was so welcoming and charming. We could tell it was a pleasure for her to serve us, and she promptly attended to any requests we had. We will definitely visit again when we travel."
