"Thank You Nikos and the Chef Team! Dog’s Birthday. Having had several great visits to the Angel Inn previously, we held a private party on a busy Saturday afternoon into the evening, with 19 people; including small children and two dogs. Nikos and the team had our pre booked area ready, with the most suitable layout. All our guests were warmly welcomed by the team and directed to our area, where the amazing buffet was served with great care and most efficiently; on the time we’d arranged. The dishes were delicious, varied and portions large -there was plenty to take home! The cakes we had bought were carefully stored in the kitchen’s fridge too. Drinks were promptly served and no request was too much; this was particularly nice as the pub was very busy too. All staff were happily accommodating of the dogs as well. The buffet menus including the vegetarian one is so well put together we’d highly recommend this. The lovely Chef also came out to check if all the food was fine and if anything was needed, again much appreciated seeing how busy the Inn was. Prices are most reasonable also. Would highly recommend."

This is one of the loveliest pubs in Highgate Village. I went on a Sunday and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. The Bratwurst dinners looked tempting, but I ultimately decided on the fish and chips, which did not disappoint. It is a nice gastro pub, so expect to pay a bit more for your meal.

The duck salad was fantastic! Really full of flavour ,super healthy. You don't often find pub food that's super healthy. The rest of the menu is very interesting. Refurbishment has made a real difference. Just need a few more patrons to make it hum. Nice helpful waitress called Minna. Good luck!

I have always been curious of this place and during our last London visit we finally had the opportunity to try it and have a lovely dinner with my partner. It was absolutely amazing. The staff is lovely, the cocktails are well made and the food is superb. On top of that the ambiance is perfect. I would definitely recommend. Visualizza piatti

I hadn't been in for a while and walked in yesterday for dinner with a friend. This place looks stunning now. So many changes from floor to ceiling, but still serving delicious food and cocktails. I was happy to see familiar faces behind the bar. Once again Nico was amazing. South Grove's little gem, we will definitely come again.

The pub was beautiful and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the small dishes were. I ordered the grilled smoked chicken wings with ginger ale ketchup and a side salad of watercress and Parmesan. The wings had beautiful grill marks and a light drizzle of sweet sauce. Initially, I thought the price was a bit high for 5 wings, but each wing came with a flat and drumette, so it was actually a good portion for £5.50. The side salad was also well-prepared with watery, thick shaves of Parmesan and a good quality balsamic dressing. It was light and refreshing. However, my companion was less satisfied with the sweet croquettes he ordered as they lacked a sharp flavor.
