"My wife and I visited La Poissonnerie on our first night in Cassis. We both ordered moules with their “house” sauce. When they arrived it was evident that the moules had not been properly cleaned and that a lot of them had been re-heated, which...was ironic as half of them were cold. Frankly, it’s our bad for not sending them back, but after a day travelling from Paris we just couldn’t be bothered. Needless to say, we never went back and would suggest that anyone in search of good food avoid as well."

"Bien situé, jolie vue... Staff est frais, réactif et souriant.. C'est certain qu'il faut être patient, tout le monde veut une place et l'on ne peut pas réserver, vraiment un bemol... En pleine saison nous n'essayerons pas, trouver un parking était galère en avril, alors en été il faut même pas y penser.. Il y a la possibilité de louer des transats( attention peu de place) donc vous pouvez réserver une table, bon tips à savoir.. Carte avec des snacks, carte d'été sympa...Pas de la grande cuisine, mais ça le fait...et c'est très cool..."

"Very welcoming and very professional service. Excellent dishes and refined and gourmet desserts. Very good portion. Small disappointment on the atmosphere. The staff set up a table next to the main tables on the terrace so that we can put the tricycle of our 1-year-old girl without the gene the passage. What started out with good intention but then we found ourselves a bit isolated from the restaurant's animation. Big negative point on the lack of high chair. Our daughter ate on her tricycle. We could have offered him better! I recommend investing in a few chairs for your future visitors! It really doesn't require a big budget. See you soon"

"After a week in Provence finally a great non nonsense busy restaurant. Yes it busy so you have to smile and use your French. Lots of locals enjoying the solid food. We shared a Frito Misto then I had a huge delicious Salad Nicoise and my husband had one of the Menus. At and euros good value he had a lamb shank with heavenly Gratin Dauphinois and carrots. That came with a choice of desserts and coffee. We had beers, a kir royal (well we are in Cassis a coke and a carafe of rosé for Wonderful."

"We have chosen this snack because it’s about capri pizza that we know very well to be customers on aix in Provence. As usual, we order a pizza cheese base tomato. However, to our surprise, the seller tells us that it is not possible to replace the cream base that is served by default by the tomato sauce. "Good Home, nice and helpful staff. Long service. Carpets a little expensive but very good and fresh it's nice to wait and they are enough to them even if you're not very hungry, with a drink it's very good. The mojito on the wall is fresh and good. Copious and good beef tartar but not cut to the knife it is chopped and lacks a bit of parmesan. Disappointed by the wok of gambas and Saint James lacks a little salt and there is a little too much coriander? The presentation is pleasant, The dishes are good. I recommend! The wait is normal in season especially with the world that there was and we see that the carbide team therefore thanks them and good courage!"

"good mulocs, it was what we were looking for, the price of payment, because you are in the full port, or I asked the mulocs to provezale and obviousmemte that they knew more tomato than the mulocs but the salsa was squisite, instead my friend asked the sailor to the mulocs and if they had very good drop. even so, my cups have me a lot. What I didn't get is that I don't know how to pay by bank card. That should be changed."

"My husband and I literally just dropped into this restaurant because we needed a place to eat when we arrived in Cassis and the beachfront location was irresistible. Even though it is a beachfront restaurant, the prices are pretty steep and there are nice white...tablecloths on the tables. I decided to go all out and order a serious lunch consisting of linguine with clams. What an incredible surprise! It was the best linguine with clam dish I’ve had in recent memory. Much better than all the other ones I had in Italy. My husband’s giant prawns grilled with garlic and parsley tidbits was also impressive and delicious. The waitress was a tad surly and we had a miscommunication about the lemonade but overall, it was really a great experience and quite unexpected. The view was very nice from the outdoor seating area and the food was great. I dare say it was probably the best meal we had while in France."

"Yea I know, Italian food in France, especially Southern France? Sure why not? Sometimes you need something different. If that different thing is Italian, try this place. It's a bit hard to find in the rabbit warren of streets down by the harbor, but it's worth it. The address on Trip Advisor will get you there via Google maps. The food was fresh, service attentive, selection varied enough to provide something for everyone and not too expensive. They even have a mixture of French and Italian wines to choose from. So for something Italiano, this is the place to go, sitting inside if too hot or cold, or on the tiny cobblestone street if just right. Give it a try. Cheers!"

"A family dining should be cozy and joyful at the harbor of Cassis. We spent 30 min waiting to order, and we should have taken the right decision and leave at that point. However we stayed, got our burgers and steak in acceptable time, but the drinks were never served. Half through the meals we mention twice that we never got the drinks, and then 10 min later they serve drinks for only 2 of 5 persons. We mentioned that now we do not want our drinks, too late and we want to pay. The bill is all ordered drinks plus what they believed was added drinks, even though there is only two used glasses on the table. Now they are suspecting us to cheat...and even very persistent, instead of admitting the poor mistake made, and accepting they are simply busy. 50 of the incident is obvious poor English, but the other part is simply pride, poor service and even rude and stubborn will to resolve a simple issue. We cannot recommend this restaurant....now we go for a needed drink."

"This is a small restaurant across the street from the beach. If you want the best beach views this is not the place. Also you will want to have an outdoor seat because the inside is a bar and dark. Outside you are seated road side and will have cars driving by. We ordered the salad with melon and ham with vinaigrette dressing. Very fresh and sweet cantaloupe melon. We ordered the charcuterie plate but were disappointed in that there was no cheese and barely any dried fruit. Service was efficient but abrupt and we had to go inside to pay our bill. I think there are better options on the beach."

"We arrived early (just after and had a relaxed start, aperitif, ordered our food and received our starters after about minutes of ordering it was getting to be a longishtime. The food was excellent we had the crab and the leeks,...delicious. The restaurant by now was starting to fill up. We then had a shorter wait for our main courses but it was atmospheric, the wine was lovely so no problems at all. But we then waited for about minutes for our main course plates to be removed. They were finally removed but not a mention of would we like to look at the desert menu. After another wait we decided to get the bill and go along the harbour to a bar for an Irish coffee! It was a shame because it’s a lovely restaurant and excellent food but we felt that two hours for two courses was just too long. I wonder if it may be a problem with the kitchen as the service in the restaurant seemed really efficient."

"We went to that little black and white bar, I have to say very nice, held by the guys. their prices are great, we took our favorite wine which and that of the field of paternal, they had rosé and white. their prices are excellent in glass and at 4.50, the other places can start from 8-10 euros. Guys were fun and easy to live. I recommend it to young people who do not want to pay dear but want to drink quality things. Siamo stati a questo piccolo bar di cassis, devo dire molto carino, gestito da ragazzi. i loro prezzi sono ottimi, abbiamo preso il nostro vino preferito che e quello del domaine du paternel, avevano sia il rosee che il bianco. i loro prezzi sono ottimi il calice e a 4,50, gli altri locali magari partono da 8-10 euro. I ragazzi erano entertainenti e alla mano. lo consiglio a dei ragazzi giovani che non vogliono pagare molto ma bere delle cose di qualità."

"This a beautiful restaurant set in the courtyard of the hotel under the canopy of several large trees. Gorgeous. We had booked in advance by email and it was a good job as it was very busy with people waiting for a table to...become free. Service was ok pretty slow as compared to unhurried, but quite pleasant. Had to wait an age for coffee and the bill. Food was good. My wife had the monkfish and I had the filet de beouf both good standard dishes. My dessert was not good at all though. Nice setting for either a romantic meal or a family night out (like ours)."
