"Saint Clair is a wonderful resort and is full of great bars, restaurant's and friendly locals. The exception is the Brasserie de la Plage. We ordered a rare (clarified in French) 200g piece of steak costing 22 euros. What arrived was a burnt shriveled lump of cheap beef. When we asked them to replace it with what we had ordered the waiter became aggressive and nasty shouting at us and insisting that we had asked for well done, even if we had this was not an acceptable offering.We left paying for everything on the bill except the inedible steak. Later that evening as we returned to our car the waiter (clearly identified by his large no 13 tattoo on his neck) leapt in front of our car, refusing to move and started shouting abuse. It was very intimidating and frightening. We continued politely to explain that the meal was inedible and that he had taken the order down wrong. Eventually the chef and another gentleman had to remove the crazy waiter from the front of our car and back inside.I don't know who the manager is or if they were there that night but behavior like that from their staff can't be good for business. We understand that the French often think the English like their meat well cooked but we were very clear in our instruction in both English and French. Don't be put off Saint Clair by this review the other restaurant's are wonderful. Do avoid this one and the crazy waiter with the no 13 on his neck!"

"2022 Sept: I was fortunately surprised by a semi-cuit red tuna with crunchy vegetables perfectly cooked with harmonious tastes. The place is cult, with a new team, and the natural and very casual welcome. 2019 March: The restaurant always likes me, but the prices have increased with a more brewery cuisine that no longer corresponds to my photos, and whose tastes delight me less, like the Skrei cod with excellent taste and perfectly roasted, but with an overwhelming gastric sauce. However, it is enough to ask the sauces aside to feast for those who fear too powerful tastes. 2018 May: Another small decrease in diet with more dishes in the bistronomy style, but copied. The poached foie gras is offered to the drop account, but very good. A special mention for the great sommelier! 2018 January: Another change of leader for this year that has a little simplified the 2017 presentation of plates to improve service and guidance. 2017 summer: A new owner, a new sommelier and a new chef who manage to raise quality with artistic dishes and associations of splendid tastes bravo! 2016 winter: Always a pleasure! 2016 January: Simply unmissable with a semi-gastronomic kitchen. The red wine with the glass served is the domain of La Colombette which drinks, but offering a superior wine in such a place would not be too much. 2015: A place always superb. Quiet and cozy, except on Saturday night with a stronger atmosphere of music or dancing evening. Quite easy to park, because several free parking. dishes and a quality wine menu. 2014: Beautiful frame, in height, above sea, port and boats. Starlit ceiling. Good-level kitchen. Very romantic day and night."
