"an establishment found following the ridge macarons. Two menus to and euros, I let myself try by the most expensive. an entrance of peppers to the Provencal where the anchoid is rather good but the dressage of the plate is too summary. the poelon made of fish soup, redt and st stone is rather good but the potatoes are a little too cooked, as for desserts I am not sure they are home. The service is efficient and relaxed a bit at the end of service... we could hope more effort on dressage given the price, it is more bistronomy or even household dishes which is not pejorative."

"Saint Clair is a wonderful resort and is full of great bars, restaurant's and friendly locals. The exception is the Brasserie de la Plage. We ordered a rare (clarified in French) 200g piece of steak costing 22 euros. What arrived was a burnt shriveled lump of cheap beef. When we asked them to replace it with what we had ordered the waiter became aggressive and nasty shouting at us and insisting that we had asked for well done, even if we had this was not an acceptable offering.We left paying for everything on the bill except the inedible steak. Later that evening as we returned to our car the waiter (clearly identified by his large no 13 tattoo on his neck) leapt in front of our car, refusing to move and started shouting abuse. It was very intimidating and frightening. We continued politely to explain that the meal was inedible and that he had taken the order down wrong. Eventually the chef and another gentleman had to remove the crazy waiter from the front of our car and back inside.I don't know who the manager is or if they were there that night but behavior like that from their staff can't be good for business. We understand that the French often think the English like their meat well cooked but we were very clear in our instruction in both English and French. Don't be put off Saint Clair by this review the other restaurant's are wonderful. Do avoid this one and the crazy waiter with the no 13 on his neck!"

The place is cult, with a new team, and the natural and very casual welcome. 2019 March: The restaurant always likes me, but the prices have increased with a more brewery cuisine that no longer corresponds to my photos, and whose tastes delight me less, like the Skrei cod with excellent taste and perfectly roasted, but with an overwhelming gastric sauce. "Great restaurant in Cassis. The menu is varied and all the dishes are tempting. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous! Allow around €25 for a dish. The service is careful, attentive without being intrusive. Only downside: no vegetarian option but I'm sure the chef will be able to prepare something delicious for you on request."

"Nice place and we were running late for our reservation. They called us to confirm and kept it for us. During summer you need to park outside town so take timing into consideration. Reservations essential during peak season. CCs accepted. Service was very slow with...only staff which was disappointing. Seafood platter was fresh and excellent."

"Went there with a group of friends, we ordered a bottle of Rosé from the region, the bottle came without any service and was way too expensive for the place/service. Food was delicious but the aubergines with parmigiano could not be considered as a main...and were eaten in not even minutes, even though we tried to slow ourselves down. We politely gave some feedback but it seemed that no one was interested in hungry guests and willing to "make it up" in any way. We paid, left and got more food somewhere else"

"in view of his situation on the port, we were afraid of a tourist trap. ... well not at all, well on the contrary. warm welcome, extremely competent and friendly service, traditional cuisine of very good execution, taste and perfect quantities. a more than reasonable addition ( 3 admissions, 3 dishes, a dessert, wine and mineral water in bottle, coffees, all "à la carte" for 140 euros). short a nice moment and a ratio quality price excellent pleasure. on the port of cassis, no hesitation possible, go there the eyes closed. "I recommend this restaurant, everything was very good, warm service. Very good restaurant I recommend, better go before and after rush for a faultless service The cooked rib and tuna was very good, the sauce I did not necessarily hang (in more) and the mussels gratinated a delight. "A summer evening I went to relax my mind with some friends in order to meet after a working day, the welcome is miserable, slamming fingers by pointing a table fast as “Good evening gentlemen I let you settle at this free table please” is unacceptable. We had come to drink a drink and not eat so I can't say anything at the culinary level. On the other hand, they're pretty much pressed and on the rotules. Here are our glasses barely finished that the server comes up to require us to get up and leave the place I quote: "You're done then I'm going to ask you to leave." And I'm not talking about the bill, at the time of payment, my friends and I were aiming to settle separately with each order. "We entered this restaurant on the port because they announced a dish of the fish day at 18€ that we loved, and that there were still tables on a terrace in the shade. I checked on tripadvisor and twisted my nose by reading the bad comments and with my husband, so we were waiting for the worst. In the end, we were served quickly, the dish of the day was well presented and very good, perhaps a cabbage too much oil in the vegetables, but good we are in the noon! The rosé was cool and our quentin server was very pleasant and efficient. For us, it was a good time and we were very happy."

"I'm surprised by the reviews because I found the place top! Certainly the furniture is a little tired on the other hand we found the very friendly welcome. The leader as well as servers and waitresses have been in small care, always with a smile. We also had lunch and it was very good! My salmon at the plancha was just delicious! Installed on the mattresses we overlook the beach it is enough to descend 3 steps to swim. A shower and a changing cabin are available. The rates are indicated on their site that avoids disappointments."
