"I read some reviews and heard from friends that this was thé place to eat in Cochem am Mosel, so we were very excited to find the restaurant near empty on our arrival as we had expected a wait.There was nobody to greet us as we walked in so after waiting politely waiting at the entrance for a bit we decided to seat ourselves awaiting the the host, waiter/waitress to come and greet us.It took another 5 minutes for the waitress to show up. As soon as she showed up she kindly requested us to move from the cozy booth-like spacious table to a smaller wooden table. Since the entire restaurant was empty, with the exception of one gentleman and it was about an hour before closing we did not see her point to keep the large table for non-guests so we kindly declined. The frauleins entire attitude changed and we could hear her screaming and yelling in the kitchen to the chef. She then proceeded to vent her grief to the other patron in German. One might imagine her surprise when I kindly informed her that I was able to understand her conversations ( I am Dutch so I understand the language ) and did not appreciate her treating us this way. Being used to American customer service I do lower my standards somewhat but to be told smack about a semi-professional in a small town restaurant in the middle of nowhere is not something I accept. We were looking forward to taste the local food but were quite frankly concerned that this would come with some non-sanitary condiments."

"We had no reservation but were seated in 5 minutes. Reviews mentioned grumpy staff but I didn't find it to be that exactly. A little "direct" during busy hours, no complaints here. The small bread rolls with house made butter were warm and brilliant. The bruschetta was fresh, crispy and perfect to start with. I ordered the chef's tortellini which was half cream sauce and half red. The tortellini were stuffed with different fillings based on the corresponding sauce. It was hot and cooked to perfection when served. My wife ordered a tagliatelle dish that I tried and was impressed with. Wine list was good and the decor/atmosphere was very inviting."

"Hotel Rooms1, 10 and 30 in the hotel were sufficiently large and clean, unfortunately without air conditioning (for the rooms only 4 stars. Very nice was the welcome gift (small cakes and wine and the coffee machine.For dog owners not optimal, because the dog can only be in the fireplace room and on the terrace. We've had a 4 Gämge menu both evenings. The preparation and taste were top-class and the money was worth everything. Great praise to the kitchen. The drinks prices are in the upper midfield and the restaurant and the food. Breakfast is completely sufficient. Everything was available (except on mirror eggs, in good quality and was always laid down. Coffee/tea service to the table.Last but not least:A special thanks goes to Kevin. Rarely so hearty laughed and much spiced. His humour may not be everyone's thing, but we all found him well. If not, great acting performance :"

"Es sind 2 Cafés zusammen auf einer Stelle... Die Kaffeerösterei machte.30 Minuten vor Betriebsschluss für heute keinen Service mehr. Also rüber... zum Mitbewerber und noch ein Weinchen zum Ende eines fast verregneten Tages trinken. Guter Service, gutes Weinchen, gute Aussicht auf den Marktplatz und auf das Cafe! Jedoch eine Zeitreise... Das Ambiente des Cafés ansich ist im Stil der 1970er. War mal schön, könnte man aufpeppen. Wäre mal was!"

"Wir sind bei euch gelandet, nachdem uns tripadvisor quasi hierhergelotst hat und wir wurden überhaupt nicht enttäuscht - eher das Gegenteil. Das Restaurant war voll besetzt als wir ankamen, aber wir hatten Glück und bekamen nach einer kleinen Wartezeit einen Tisch. Die Mädels im Service waren eindeutig im Stress, trotzdem waren sie sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Bestellung wurde fix aufgenommen. Dass Essen und auch Getränke vielleicht eine Minute länger dauerten war für uns nur verständlich (wie gesagt das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt und es kamen immer wieder neue Leute, die teilweise leider auf einen anderen Abend verwiesen werden mussten) und durch das rundum freundliche Auftreten des Personals saß man auch gerne einfach im Restaurant. Bruschetta vorweg und Pizza als Hauptgang waren einsame Spitze! Selten so leckere Pizza bekommen! Hinterher hab's noch nen Schnaps aufs Haus. Wir würden so gern wiederkommen (wenn die Anreise nicht so weit wäre)!"

"Es handelt sich hierbei um einen klassischen asiatischen Imbiss mit dem gleichen Angebot, dass man überall findet. Das Essen schmeckt wie zu erwarten zwar gut aber auch relativ durchschnittlich. Die Preise für die einzelnen Speisen sind absolut angemessen und entsprechen der Qualität der bestellten Essen. Wenn es schnell gehen soll und satt machen soll ist dieser Imbiss zu empfehlen. "We were four in Cochem for 3 days and randomly discovered Noss restaurant. Unfortunately we had not reserved a table and it was full, yet we were kindly received and could stay. The food and the mulled wine were super tasty, price is right and we had a lot of fun with the very friendly staff. That's why we were there next night. If we're going to Cochem again, we'll definitely be back at Noss. Until then we wish all staff nice holidays, all good for 2023 and lots of health!"

"Diese Rezension bezieht sich nur auf das Restaurant! Wir waren am Freitag Abend dort mit unserem Hund. Leider können wir die vielen positiven Bewertungen für dieses Restaurant nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Beim Betreten wurden wir vom gesamten Personal zunächst ignoriert und nur blöd angeschaut. Unsere weibliche Bedienung war äußerst unfreundlich und schien keinerlei Freude an ihrer Arbeit zu haben. Auf unsere Wünsche wurde nur mürrisch reagiert, und eine extra Zutat auf der Pizza wurde dementsprechend einfach vergessen. Das Essen war nichts Besonderes und das Servicepersonal machte einen sehr unprofessionellen Eindruck. Zudem wurde mir zuerst ein leeres Glas zu meinem Getränk serviert, welches von einem zuvor besetzen Tisch entnommen wurde, dies empfand ich als äußerst unhygienisch. Insgesamt war unser Besuch enttäuschend und wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder."

"Stopped in here for dinner and had a great experience! Atmosphere: this restaurant is located in an old house and takes up the entire bottom floor. It is divided into several different areas with plenty of seating for a variety of different sized groups. It is decorated in a Mexican feel and is very comfortable. There is even a bar area for those not wishing to eat. I spoke with the owner (who is very personable and makes himself visible) and found that they also have live music every so often. Staff: the waitress was polite, professional, and attentive. She made us feel right at home and made sure we had anything we might need. Food: awesome! We had called ahead and placed an order for a single meal for our party. We had Mexican style Schnitzel (with melted cheese and jalapeños), fries, and sautéed zucchini. Prior to the main course, we had pancake soup, which was simply amazing! This is definitely a great restaurant with a wonderful staff! If you want to try something different that will taste good, this is it!"

"Der 2te Besuch dieses Restaurants. Das erste Mal eher zufällig. Aufgrund des ersten Besuchs das 2te Mal gezielt. Eingang etwas unscheinbar. Treppe hoch... Wow. Sieht schick aus. Gat einen Aussenbereich. Nicht nur schick sondern auch sehr leckere Speisen. Dieses Mal ein 4 Gänge Menu. Sehr gutes Pries/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir wohnen ca 60km weit weg. Werden auf den zukünftigen Touren entlang der Mosel sicher noch öfter dort einkehren."

"We were absolutely blown away by this restaurant. The food was exceptional so if you're looking for traditional local food, this is definitely the place. The schnitzels were amazing, asparagus was cooked just right and the steaks were incredible. They also have very lovely wines...and great dessert! We had the wine pudding and apple strudel, both were exceptional! Great service and very nice atmosphere. The price was very affordable also, we ate here on two evenings and paid around 40e for two main courses, a few glasses of wine and one dessert."

"Ich Ware vor 1Woche zum ersten mal im Restaurant essen,und schon beim reingehen hat mir eine Positive eindruck gemacht . Altmoderne Dekoration an den Wänden Modernisierte Möbelung.Ich habe mir einen Pizza Salami bestellt,und wo ich es erhalten habe ware ich sehr Überrascht.Es hat mir sehr sehr sehr gefallen,war sehr gut vom Geschmack her! Seit dem gehe ich jeden Tag hin und Lasse mich von andere Gerichten überraschen,und bin weiterhin auf eine Positive Meinung!Die Personal ist sehr sehr freundlich&Behilflich.Ich empfehle es aufjedenfall an andere Gästen die in Cochem sich aufhalten,und Gutes essen möchten mit der Familie oder auch mal zu 2.Ich werde auf jedenfall weiterhin da essen gehen!"

"A restaurant to feel good. The dishes are very tasty and you noticed that was cooked with fresh ingredients. The menu focuses on German and regional with many fish dishes as well as fish dishes. The service is very friendly and the service is really great. We called there in the afternoon and nobody ran because the restaurant was closed. Shortly before the opening we were called back and we were able to reserve a table. In another case too, the service has helped us very much. The place is really recommended."

"We arrived at Hieronimi for one night. It was easy to find and there was a small parking lot we were able to park in, luckily when we arrived there was a space for the car. Had we arrived at dinner time parking could have been an issue.The room was exactly as advertised. The baby cot was not set up but we told the woman working and she set it up while we were out. The room for 3 adults was spacious and clean. The bathroom was modern and clean.We choose not to eat dinner at the hotel as we got hungry when we were out and about and did not want to walk back over the river.Breakfast was included in our cost which was 130 euro for one night. Breakfast was a typical German breakfast. It included cheese and meat slices, eggs, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit and bread. The baby broke a plate and the woman working was very kind about it. The trouble came when we tried to check out. I had checked that we could pay with credit card before booking the room. When we tried to pay the woman working, who appeared to be the ONLY person working at the hotel said she did not have the credit card machine. I said, listen we are leaving and have to pay with card. At this point we had limited euro cash left. Not that I should have to give a reason. She went and got the credit card machine from the office and when I went to pay she said the machine is not working. The machine said "emergency mode". When I told her I needed to pay with card she became extremely upset and was waving her hands in the air saying I needed to go to an ATM and get cash. When I told her I was not doing that and getting nailed with international withdrawal fees she got more upset and was yelling and waving her arms around. She clearly did not know how to use the machine. I asked her to calm down and call someone. She tried calling her boss after I urged her to do so but she could not get anyone on the phone. She said I could not leave the hotel until the boss arrived. I asked when that would be and she said she had no idea because the boss usually arrives 40 minutes prior to that. So basically she was holding me hostage because they have one credit card machine and one employee who does not know how to use it. I told her I was leaving at 10 am (in 20 more minutes) with or without the bosses arrival and that made her furious. I told her they could call me or I could leave the credit card number and they could run it when they sorted out their machine but this made her more hysterical. I was very calm in this situation and she wasn't, which I really did not appreciate. As she went into the kitchen and yelled about me to the kitchen worker who just arrived I pulled up the credit card manual on my phone. I finally had to insist that she allow me to try to fix the machine and she just kept yelling at me that she pushed all the buttons. This was not how I liked starting my day. I finally was able to reset the machine and bill myself for the room. When all was said and done I was a hostage for more than 30 minutes with a cranky baby and I did not get so much as a thank you. I have traveled all over the world and not ever come across something like this."

"This was a stop for lunch after we visited Burg Eltz and were craving kebab. It was not too busy, had a large selection, but only one staff member was working, so it took a very long time to order and get food. Our party of 5 got 4 diner kebab and 1 order of schnitzel with fries. The portions are large, but we waited awhile longer on a new schnitzel plate since there was a fly fried into the top of the original. It wasn't the worst ever, but I wouldn't return there either. Thee best kebab is still in Trier walkplatz."

"Es war insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war, bis auf zwei schwarze Haare auf dem Bettlaken, sauber. Die Ausstattung ziemlich modern. Ein gepflegtes sauberes Badezimmer. Eine besetzte Rezeption war nicht vorhanden. Der Check-In ist über Displays im Empfang geregelt. Zimmerkarten werden von den Gästen selbst kodiert. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, da man direkt im Cochemer Innenstädtchen ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet im anliegenden Restaurant ist gut ausgestattet und wird umgehendend aufgefüllt."

"The Moselromantik-Hotel Weißmühle is a 3-star hotel on the edge of the Enderttal a few kilometers outside Cochem. It is super quiet, which is often an advantage, but sometimes also a disadvantage because you definitely need a car to explore the area.The hotel rooms are fine and clean, but nothing special. The restaurant is very special. The food is not only super tasty, but also beautifully dressed and served. The service staff is attentive, fast and always well-launted, which ensures a very special and pleasant atmosphere."

"We bezoeken dit restaurant ieder jaar weer vanwege de zelfgemaakte specialiteiten. We hebben ooit een leuk gesprek met de eigenaresse gehad die ons van alles liet proeven. Soepjes net vers gemaakt, de soep van de druiven ( ben de naam kwijt) goulash ... heerlijk. Dit jaar kwamen we er pas achter dat ze een middagpauze in de keuken hebben..... na onze bestelling klonk er wat geknor uit de keuken... en toch kwam het eten eraan. Geweldig .Als ik zie hoeveel uren deze mensen in hun restaurant staan is de middagpauze zeer begrijpelijk.Met geweldig uitzicht op het pleintjeEven zelf het gesprek op gang brengen en je zit er fantastisch."
