"Have used Wing On for many years, even through their bad times when they had a one star hygiene rating. Never had a bad meal, never any upset stomachs. Food always hot fish and delicious. HOWEVER, change of ownership has led to shop interior having make over do it looks better but the food is atrocious. I'm sure my chicken was off, but I only ate a couple of mouthfuls and threw the rest out. I'm glad I did as I'm sure I would have been very unwell, rather than being just a bit off colour the following day. There was one small pice of ginger in my ginger spring onion chicken it tasted like gravy granules with onion in. My husband's sweet and sour was edible but had a strange smell that I've only noticed in cheap microwave meals before and the chips stunk the car out on the way home with the smell of old fat it was raining heavily but I drove with the window open I won't be going back"

"The service at this restaurant is friendly and accommodating. Even though I had never been here before, when I requested creamy cauliflower with my order and was told it wasn't available, one of the workers (I wish I had his name) offered to make something special for me. I was extremely grateful, and the dish he made was the best I've ever had. The rest of the food was also delicious. I would recommend this place in any case."

"Staff were friendly and explained everything about how they are operating due to covid rules. Soft drinks (lemonade) tasted like soda water even after pump was changed so opted for coke. Carvery was nice but amount of meat portion was little and yorkshire puddings not soft like they used to be, very crispy and full of air"

"Farmhouse and Tawny Owl both great pubs for Sunday lunch. Worth the drive from Nunthorpe. Staff always friendly polite, service always prompt, quality and value for money supurb. I often take my elderly Nan and dad for Sunday dinner, always easy for access and accommodating staff. Thanks"

"This place doesn't need much explaining, just know that it is a takeout and had some dining in seats availabke, you don't book tables or anything like that, just turn up. It's not fine dining or anything, it's just amazing tasting, well made shawarma, served by very nice helpful staff at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended."

"I had a very enjoyable experience at this restaurant. I placed my order before 4pm and received a call from the restaurant just 5 minutes later to schedule a delivery time. The pizza was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The prices were reasonable and they also had some great offers to take advantage of. I will definitely be ordering from here again and would highly recommend it to others!"
