"Premise: we went there for dinner, so my comments do not apply to the drinks' area.First of all, it's not really a mexican restaurant. I guess they call it like this just for marketing purposes because otherwise it's just a US-style fast food. I have nothing against a good hamburger once in a while, but it has at least to be decent. I ordered a double burger but what I got was very disappointing. The burger meat was as good as the frozen stuff you can buy in discount supermarkets at 1 euro per box., with the difference that this one was around 18 euros on their menu. Even the french fries were bad, which is quite an achievement! My wife had a dish of fried stuff which was barely acceptable.The waiters were quite friendly but also inexperienced.I would not be complaining so much if this place were at least cheap, but it is not. Our bill (2 people, 1 course each plus a soft drink) came out at 38 euros. I could eat much better (and faster) at Mcdonalds for less that 10 euros.The only positive thing I can mention about this place is the exit.."

"what I liked very well that everything was homemade there. also the nacho chips were homemade and all looked different. what I also liked was that there was not only standard meat replacement, but much is done with jackfruit. jackfruit is well added, I really don't find so easy and they have good to season the jackfruit Mexican. there is a cocktail breakfast and many homemade limousine. everything in the frame."

"Absolutely recommended! We've been looking for a good Indian restaurant for a long time. I guess we found it. The food was super delicious and the price was absolutely fair. We were received totally nicely and the service was very attentive and coming before. The restaurant is not very large, but with typical Indian decoration and very homely atmosphere. There are also a few places outside, but I would class them as a semi cozy as they lie directly on the road. Didn't test it yourself yet. But one thing is certain, we come back"

"The entire Nazar-Fleck in Darmstadt actually offers everything you need: bakery, restaurant, supermarket! Turkish food can be obtained in the small but fine supermarket without any problems. If this were a little bigger from the shop, this would be top! The bakery offers both Turkish bakery specialties and cakes as desired for special occasions such as birthdays, wedding days or the like. And in the restaurant you can eat well, taste not bad: always happy!"

"It's asparagus season and Vapiano has some asparagus dishes. After trying out the "duetto de asparagi" a couple of weeks ago, I declared it as my new favorite when eating at Vapiano. However, depending on the guy preparing your meal you get pimpeltest different dishes...it is supposed to be spinach with the salad dressing of your choice, a white asparagus mousse and green asparagus with tomato sugo on top...your would think that is not a complicated dish to prepare? Wrong! The first time it was done right ("cook 1"). The second and third time the "cook" (2 and 3) did not find the mousse despite the ready portion sitting just to the right by the bread.... The fourth time the "cook (4)" put only one green asparagus on my plate and radicchio in my salad (despite me telling him I did not want any). And today? Well, cook 5 stated to mix the salad with...tomato sugo...seriously?????I would give this place 0 points because of the service...but ok, the food is quite good (3-4)...Vapiano, you need to do something about the training of your staff..."

"Der Schlemmerblock brachte uns auf die Idee, dieses ÖPNV-günstig gelegene Lokal am Hauptbahnhof auszutesten - und es war eine gute Idee! Wir haben dort also einen wunderbar unterhaltsamen Mädelsabend verbracht, bei dem wir wirklich ausgesprochen nett und sehr aufmerksam -man kann fast schon sagen 'betreut' wurden. Zum Innen-Ambiente kann ich nichts sagen, da wir draußen sitzen konnten, und hierzu gilt: ÖPNV-günstig gelegen kann Vor- und Nachteil sein, denn es fahren laufend viele Busse, Straßenbahnen und Taxen in relativer Nähe vorbei. Zusammen mit dem stillgelegten Brunnen und dem städtischen Großcontainer ist hier optisch noch Luft nach oben, was allerdings vermutlich nicht von 4Cani beeinflusst werden kann. Was aber ginge: Pflänzchen und Kerze auf den weißen Holzlattentischen, dann wäre es womöglich gleich noch hübscher anzuschauen. Wichtiger ist ohnehin das Essen, und das war sehr gut! Wir waren mit unseren Speisen (großer Salat, Pasta mit Lachs und Gambas, süße Pizza als Dessert) ausgesprochen zufrieden! Insgesamt deshalb: gerne wieder!"

"In der Kneipe41 bekommt man gutes italienisches Essen zu wirklich vernünftigen Preisen. Wir haben mit dem Gutschein aus dem Loops-Darmstadt sogar den Vorspeisenteller umsonst bekommen. Dieser reicht locker für 4 Personen!Der Service war freundlich. Leider mussten wir, da im Restaurant gleichzeitig eine Geburtstagsfeier ausgerichtet wurde, ziemlich lange auf unser Essen warten. Auch ist ein Tisch etwas weiter im Inneren des Lokals zu empfehlen, da es, wenn die Tür nicht geschlossen wird, sonst recht kühl im Rücken werden kann."

"Cu Bana Darmstadt It is a few years since my last visit Cu Bana the Cuban themed cocktail bar Restaurant in down town Darmstadt. We visited Sunday after church the interior is decorated in the style of a bar in down town Havana, one wall is full of photos of one Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz the Cuban president , the restaurant is split in two rooms the one at back was open to the sunshine with its by-folding doors. It was back to the diet tonight so the choice was a salad I decided on a colourful salad with tuna, the tuna was very plenty full and the salad was colourful carrot spring onion lettuce tomato egg cheese and not forgetting the cucumber plus dressing. The service our waitress gave was good. This is the best Cuban restaurant I have been to, it is the only one but it is well worth a visit and I will return."

"Our local Indian in Darmstadt is the Shalimar (see separate review) but we thought we'd try out the Indian Palace for a change.It was nice to not have the chaos of the Shalimar - the table was ready as reserved, as it should be. The restaurant appears to be family run and you are greeted and served in a warm and friendly way.The papadams we shared to start were spiced with a little pepper and were delicious. The main courses came (a little too quickly). The first impression was that the portions were a little small, but they were sufficient, just don't expect to have left overs for a doggy bag.The quality of the food was very good and we all found it tasty. However the chicken vindaloo was not spicy at all, despite being ordered "very spicy" and this was very disappointing.A nice touch was being told we could keep and reuse our 2-for-1 coupon. Chances are we'll be back.If you found my review helpful, I'd appreciate your vote."

"it is very crowded, but with some luck they find more often a table for several people, I recommend that they reserve it at the weekend. there is always a good atmosphere. the personal is always friendly with humor that takes the guests. there is a small smoking area at the theke where they have something to narrow and the possibility to smoke. the beverage selection is not overwhelming and corresponds to the average of a pub."

"We went there with the intent of trying some traditional german dishes and we weren't proven wrong: the menu is wide and traditionial and all we tried was very good. On top of that, the personnel is extremely nice and welcoming (since the menu is...only written in german they spent a lot of time translating it, advising us on the best dishes they had and generally chatting and joking with us). The restaurant is sited where the city ends, right at the edges of a forest and during the days of good weather I would definitely advise to eat outside like we did: it makes the whole experience more reaxing and satisfying!"

"Wir haben am Sonntag Reserviert, nach einer langen Parkplatz suche waren wir endlich da. Die Bedienung war offensichtlich überfordert nach Übergabe der Speisenkarte dauerte es eine halbe Stunde bis wir Bestellen durften. Wir orderten zwei Vorspeisen und zwei Hauptgerichte alles kam zusammen. Das Essen war nicht gut bei dem Nem war der Salat vergammelt und sowas schmeiße ich weg. Bei meiner Beschwerde beim Kellner kam es aber gar nicht gut an er war überhaupt nicht Kritik fähig und das Schälchen mit Soße , da fehlte die Karotte. Die Ente war trocken, der Reis aufgewärmt und alles ohne Geschmack. Ach ja wir hatten auch ein Bier und ein Wasser das Bier sprudelte und das Wasser kam im Glas offen? Also die Oma kann definitiv nichts. Beim Bezahlen gab’s keine Rechnung beziehungsweise keine Quittung Nie wieder!"

"Wir haben im Dezember unsere Hochzeit im Flamme gefeiert und sind total begeistert. Schon im Vorfeld war die Bedienung super nett uns sehr flexibel was unsere Wünsche anging. An dem Abend war alles perfekt hergerichtet, die Location ist sehr gemütlich und urig eingerichtet. Die Flammkuchen haben alle Gäste total begeistert und die Bedienung und der Koch haben sich sehr ins zeug gelegt immer wieder neue, super leckre Flämischen nachzulegen. Generell waren alle Mitarbeiter im Local sehr aufmerksam und haben mit ihrer guten Laune zu dem gelungenen Abend beigetragen. Wir können dieses Local nur empfehlen und wollen uns nochmals für einen tollen Abend mit sehr, sehr leckerem Essen bedanken!"

"Alt bewährt und immer sehr lecker. Super ist es, dass es hier keinen mindestbestellwert gibt. Man muss bei der Lieferung Bar zahlen. Der Teig ist sehr schön dünn und man geht auf extra wünsche ein. Ein kleines Manko ist, dass die Pizza so gut belegt wird, dass man alufolie in die Kartons legen muss. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"

"Der Service war eine einzige Katastrophe. Wir wurden quasi nicht beachtet. Die Krönung war, dass man uns wortlos im vorbeigehen die Rechnung auf den Tisch schmieß. Nach einigen Minuten darauf angesprochen, dass wir weder bedient wurden noch um die Rechnung gebeten haben, wurde mit Unfreundlichkeit und dem Hinweis, dass man schließen würde, quittiert. Die Erfahrung macht ein gutes Essen (aber keineswegs herausragend) nicht wett. Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen!"

"The Asian restaurant Khan is located in the immediate vicinity of the main railway station opposite the cinema Polis . The restaurant is very nicely furnished and offers a pleasant atmosphere. In addition to the grill where you can grill various ingredients, there is also the classic buffet with a very large selection of dishes. Who is too much can simply take something from the menu. The staff is very nice and the food is very delicious. Free parking is also possible. I can only recommend the restaurant."

"Wir haben die Atmosphäre des Martinsviertels im Außenbereich des Roma genossen. Als Vorspeise haben wir uns einen Italienischen Salat geteilt. Dann gab es als Hauptgang zwei Pizzen. Eine mit Büffelmozzarella und eine Mix mit extra Sardellen. Dazu leckere Äppler und zum Abschluss zwei gute Espressi. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und fand trotz ausgebuchter Terrasse noch immer zwei Plätze, indem sie ganz unkompliziert, von drinnen noch Tische raus brachten. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder her. Danke für den angenehmen Abend!"

"The restaurant is located in a slightly off location, the interior is unassuming. The place specializes in fish and seafood, they also run a fish shop nearby. The specialization pays off: this is, bar a large margin, the best fish and seafood I have eaten in Darmstadt. The owner is friendly and recommended that we (three people) order two tapas sets and he would make sure they contain lots of fish (which is what we wanted). He could have easily made more money if we had ordered a main dish each, so hats off! We got 12 different tapas, most with fantastically fresh seafood and grilled fish. Bread and olives are included for no extra. The cooking was straightforward (mostly grilled or simple sauces), but capable and nothing was dry or chewy. We drank a bottle of good Albarino that was also fairly priced. A free coffee or digestive was offered after the meal. This place is a hidden gem and despite the off location it is a good idea to book, because many happy regulars return there often. Next time I will try a paella which also looks delicious."
