"Studying and living far away from home, I always miss the diverse and exotic flavors from Viet cuisine and constantly look for an authentic Asian restaurant wherever I go. My friends and I stumbled upon this bright and cozy looking restaurant next to the Cinema....Sen restaurant (meaning Lotus, Vietnamese national flower) didn't fall to impress me. Besides the friendly and professional service from the owner herself, the food was so delicioua! We had 2 sets of sushi and Schu Schi Gung which was curry soup with huge and fresh Prawns. The flavor was spot on!! We all found ourselves satisfied about the food and the complimentary Vietnamese milk coffee!!! Totally recommended for everyone <3"

"Have just had a fabulous meal here. Attentive service, free ouzo to begin, genuine Greek cuisine. I was struggling to fillet a whole sea bass and the waiter came along and deftly completed the job. My husband had the lamb shanks, again nicely prepared by the waiter at the table. Two main meals and two drinks for 46 E. Another freebie of after dinner rose brandy and iced ouzo to complete the meal. Great prices, and we haven't blown our conservative 125 E budget today as the NH Deggendorf hotel is only 59 E. A great day cycling that ended in style."

"hotel clean, beautiful large rooms, generally homely design and with unbeatable breakfast buffet.Pool outside is small but very fine, especially at night, as well as the sauna, the steam bath etc. here you just have to catch the right time where less is going.The location is perfect, in the middle of the city center, where there is a selection of many restaurants.We found something to be a pity for others. this is beautifully decorated and invites you to stay.With the personal we had rather little contact. if we would have liked to have a little warmer and more cared about the future than just getting the key card, it is very angled and you are actually constantly running .price for a weekend getaway top.We are happy to come back."

"War mit meiner Frau und mit Freunden bereits hier. Bin echt begeister, wie toll sie ihre Gerichte anrichten und wie individuell alles schmeckt. Das macht diese Küche wirklich einzigartig in der Umgebung. Klasse finde ich auch, dass sie versuchen ihre Speisekarten zu optimieren und jeden Freitag gibts japanische Küche die von der gewöhnlichen Speisekarte abweicht. Täglich gibts außergewöhnliche Getränke von der Tageskarte, wie sonst nirgendwo. Dieses Restaurant verdient definitiv eine 5 Sterne Bewertung."

"Als Erstes fällt einem die wirklich bezaubernde Einrichtung ins Auge. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl.Service ist auch in Ordnung, auch wenn die Bedienung ein wenig unsicher war. Aber dennoch sehr nett.Als Vorspeise gab es ein Tartar, es schmeckte aber vorwiegend nach Tomate was aber erstaunlich gut zum Fleisch passte.Der Hauptgang war ein Rumpsteak - Medium gebraten - aber eigentlich eher ein bisschen zu durch, noch vertretbar. Es schmeckte sehr gut und auch das gebratene Gemüse bestand den Geschmackstest.Das Menü rundete das Schokoladentörtchen mit Vanilleeis ab. Das Törtchen war ein wenig zu trocken und leider ohne liquiden Kern. Trotzdem noch gut gelungen.Zusammenfassend, eine gelungene Vorstellung die das Vis a Vis hier abliefert.Weiterzuempfehlen!Der Brunch, den ich leider nicht probierte, sah sehr lecker aus!"

"Wir waren hier zum Mittagessen und haben beide das Mittagsmenü (Burger, Pommes oder Salat, Kaltgetränk und Heißgetränk) genommen. Die Burger kamen zügig und waren sehr gut. Salat war ebenfalls gut. Pommes waren normal. Getränke (Cola, Wasser) wurden in 0,33 Flaschen serviert. Der Cappucino danach war sehr gut and kam von Aussehen her auch aus einer professionellen Espressosiebträgermaschine.Von den Preisen ist es der Qualität entsprechend. Mit dem Mittagsangebot von Burgerpreis + 4,50 war es ein guter Preis. Ansonstens sind die Preise ca. 7 - 8,50 Euro für den Burger alleine, plus ca. 3 Euro für die Beilage. Getränke knapp 3 Euro. Kaffee so 2,50 - 3 Euro. Studenten bekommen 10% Rabatt.Es gibt einen Holzterasse zum draußen essen auf der wir waren und auch Sitzplätze innen. Einziges kleines Manko: Die Hauptstraße ist direkt daneben und etwas laut, es ging aber doch recht gut.Wir werden uns dieses Restaurant merken und hier gerne wieder essen gehen wenn wir wieder in Deggendorf sind."

Their burgers are huge and big enough to full a man. but there a couple of problems, they don't have card payment terminal so they don't accept cards (prepare some cash and coins in advance) And the ventilation is not perfect so you can smell frying oil in the salon. By the way, the cook and waiters are friendly and able to speak English."

"I was pulled into the restaurant today when I ran out in deg and saw a sign along the main street to advertise their lunch specialties that begin in the €6 7 series and maximum by €9 10. lunch specialties include a small beside salad and a small drink. I had the Suzuki special, which came with rice, Metaxa sauce and a small brot Basket, in addition to the small nasalate and the small drink. in the grunde, for the price, they get a tonne eat, some of them really awesome, some of them ok. the meal had highlights and lightnesses. the suzuki were delicious. they were juicy, loaded with fresh crumbs and tasted like they cooked on a proper grill. the tear was also good; my only complaining is that I liked more than a tiny creature of it. the metaxa sauce was well spiced and delicious, but the sauce had begun to break a little until it made my table. the brot was beautiful and crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect for the moppen of the metaxa sauce. a side of a slice of the broth was dried out somewhat. the salat was usually iceberg salad, with one or two bit arugula thrown. there was a piece tomaten, but it wasn't very ripe tomaten and hadn't really much taste. I know that it is january and does not produce peak season; in this case it would have been better to just leave the dead. the dressing was just fine. the meal also included an unexpected, free shot of ouzo. the staff was friendly and fast. there were many family photos on the walls and the staff there was definitiw in the family photos today. However, the restaurant does not necessarily have a friendly environment, the lighting was yellow and the restaurant was somewhat dark, and not the romantic style of dark. I also understand that today the first day of the early break for students is at dit, but I was the only person under the age of about 50 while I was there. the toilets are divided with a bar and were in Causes cleanliness in order, but there was no heat on today and they were ice cold. Given the price-performance ratio, I would definitely come back, but I would probably leave the side salad."

"I can only join all previous speakers: Even if it doesn't look like that from outside, there's very good food here. our two youngsters each had a Rumpsteak, I had a burger and we were really completely thrilled. The steak very delicate and fried on the point medium. My burger was also very delicious, the Pommes a dream. Little minus point was when our youngest man threw his glass. "We were staying nearby at the Schloss Egg and decided to drive to Deggendorf for dinner. After a brief walk through the central pedestrian only downtown core, we settled on this lovely little restaurant, Goldener Engel (Golden Angel). The menu was only in German, and...the staff spoke very little English and my German is sub-par, but we were able to communicate enough to ask the waiter to bring us some traditional Bavarian dishes that he recommended. After we sipped some local red wine and a nice local Moos Ale, our waiter presented us with a hearty portion of Schnitzel Bratkartoffeln and some very tasty Bratwurst. We had a great meal and it was incredibly tasty and savoury. The total for our meal was Euro. You'll definitely want to check out this place if you are looking for traditional Bavarian food in Deggendorf."

"Ich habe nur was zum mitnehmen bestellt. Ich war froh darum. Das Restaurant ist ungemütlich, hinter Theke liegen Papierberge, Unrat u. Müll. Die Theke u. die Flaschen darüber waren staubig u. voller Spinnweben. Die Deko total chaotisch. Der Salat war mehr als geschmacklos, mehr Grünsalat als die ausgiebig beschriebenen Beilagen, die suchte man verzweifelt. Der Risottoreis war normaler Reis. Lange Wartezeit trotz Abholzeit vereinbart war. Dort würde ich niemals Essen gehen u. auch zukünftig nix bestellen."

"I was invited to breakfast with the family and it was an extremely pleasant surprise. Café Monokel is located in a small courtyard in the city centre and is a small pearl of Deggendorf. The interior design has a beautiful Art Nuveau Touch with stylish curved lamps. The bar, on the other hand, looks modern and well maintained, the staff was friendly. Tables with motivating spells are hanging everywhere that make you sneak. Definitely worth a visit!"

"I went with my couple to have lunch to the restaurant. As it was sunny we decided to stay in the terrace. Once our meals were delivered and after eating a little bit I realize that my dish needed more salt. I asked for it...to a waiter and there was a completely acceptable misunderstanding between Saltz and zahlen Once this was solve I kept waiting for the salt. I saw how my dish was getting colder and colder and after few minutes I decided to go inside and ask for it again. At that point it was clear I was getting disappointed . The two waiters that have served me, were there exchanging few words and visible relaxed. I asked again for the salt to one of them and in out way out to the terrace I pointed him that it has taken very long time, and that he should be conscious that being in the terrace make dishes get cold faster. Then he start to discuss with me saying that it was my decision to stay in the terrace and that the food may not be so unsalted if I had already eat some. I was flipping out. After that we order to pay. I didn't finish my drink and I didn't touch anything else on my dish. We paid euros for being mistreated and for discuss with an unprofessional waiter how should we behave as clients, (can you really image that a waiter blame you for staying in the terrace and also for eating some of your food before deciding if it is OK or not? It is not the first time I am disappointed with this place. But I can hardly believe that the managers do care so few about the manners and education of their own stuff."

"Ausblick und Location ist einfach gut! gibt's nix dran auszusetzen. Speisen selbst: Naja. Ist zwar OK aber auch nicht mehr. Es fehlt sehr an bayer. Brotzeiten die man im Sommer im Biergarten schon erwartet. Schmeckt einfach nix wirklich bayerisch. Wartezeit auf Speisen & Getränke sind voll OK. Fazit: Alles gut soweit... aber es fehlt an wirklich gutem, bayerischen Essen (für meinen Geschmack). Eine größere Veranstaltung - z.B. für Firmenfeiern, Hochzeiten - würde ich das Lokal nicht empfehlen (beides erlebt). Speisen sind einfach nicht der Hammer... und bei einer größeren Veranstaltung gefühlt noch deutlich schwächer. Als Biergartenfan gerne besuchen, aber als Restaurant höchstens Durchschnitt."
