"Me and my family visited this restaurant in May 2014. This would be a typical summer restaurant. The inside area are ok, but not great. The beergarden in the back was really nice.The service was great. They came and took care of us very fast. Food came fast and we all got the food at the same time.Their pizza is really thin crust pizza with great taste. We did not try anything other than pizza, but the pizza can be recommended.They don't really good rating due to the indoor facilities. Not sure if I would visit this place in the winter."

"Ein ansprechend eingerichtetes, relativ großes Café in Deggendorf, das ca. 400 m vom Alten Rathaus entfernt ist.Die Küche ist sehr gut und der Service fast immer freundlich, wobei der häufige Wechsel der Mitarbeiter auffällt. Da kann man schon einmal an eine unaufmerksame oder rechthaberische Bedienung geraten.Besonders positiv ist hervorzuheben, dass das Cafe Extra kostenloses WLAN anbietet, was in den gastronomischen Betrieben in Deggendorf eine Ausnahme ist.Negativ fällt auf, dass ältere Gutscheine nicht akzeptiert werden, obwohl auf diesen kein Ablaufdatum angegeben ist. Dass man hier nicht einmal bei Stammkunden Kulanz zeigt, ist befremdlich. Vom Kauf von Gutscheinen für das Café Extra ist deshalb abzuraten."

"I recently went to Maximilians in Deggendorf with my family and was looking forward to a nice Sunday lunch with good food. The atmosphere was immediately inviting – the restaurant is stylishly decorated and we felt welcome from the start. The service was really excellent: the waitress was friendly, attentive and always there to make sure we didn't lack anything. I really can't complain about anything on this point. But unfortunately the Wiener Schnitzel – the “star” of my meal – did not live up to my expectations. I was looking forward to a tender, airy veal schnitzel that was perfectly souffled. Unfortunately, I was disappointed: the schnitzel had brownish black spots in places, indicating that it was probably over fried or not enough oil or butter was used. This meant that the schnitzel lacked its typical, slightly “bloated” breading and therefore lost some of its lightness and enjoyment. It was a real shame because I would have liked the quality of the schnitzel to have been able to keep up with that of the service and the ambience. Overall, it was still pleasant thanks to the great atmosphere and the wonderful staff but I simply expected more from the Wiener Schnitzel."

"Der Eingangsbereich und die Hausfassade laden eigentlich nicht zum Eintreten ein, aber wenn man den Schritt gewagt hat, dann wird man von einer sehr freundlichen, hilfsbereiten Dame empfangen und zum reservierten Tisch gebracht. Das Ambiente im Restaurant wirkt ein bisschen überladen, passt aber gut zum Ambiente einer Taverne. Leider war der zugewiesene Tisch für die Uhrzeit) weil die Abendsonne direkt durch das Fenster blendend geschieden hat. Dies wurde sofort bemerkt, ohne das man was sagen musste und man bekam einen neuen Tisch. Dies ist jammern auf höchsten Niveau. Vielleicht wären Vorhänge oder Jalousien eine Möglichkeit. Nun zum Essen.... hervorragend und geschmacklich absolut lecker. Auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen oder auch das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut fair. Zusammengefasst ist zusagen, dass der Besuch ein tolles Erlebnis war."

"Wir waren dort vor einem Monat essen, leider schmeckte das Spiegelei primär einfach nur nach Fett. Nach der Reklamation erhielten wir ein neues Ei, was „besser“ schmeckte, aber trotzdem einfach nur Durchschnitt war. Auch das restliche Essen war leider nur Durchschnitt. Die Bedienung am Tisch war freundlich und hatte Verständnis, das restliche Personal schien richtig angefressen wegen unserer Kritik und zeigte großes Unverständnis: Unprofessionell. Wir können diese Location nicht weiterempfehlen."

"als ein hoch deutscher das war bei weitem die schlechteste currywurst die ich je hatte. curry-soße flüssig wie suppe, bleibt nix an der wurst und verweicht die pommes. die kleine hand voll pommes könnte einen schuss salz vergtragen und die curry-soße ist viel zu sauer. wo war die schärfe? stand scharf drauf muss auch scharf drin sein, oder? fast 8€ dafür? kriegst 10x bessere currywurst für den halben preis um die ecke. nur zu schade um das geld, hätte ne tiefkühl pizza lieber gehabt."

"Très accueillant. La serveuse toujours souriante bien que le restau soit plein. Les plats typiques étaient excellents et très frais ( Mon sandre était parfait), les Spätzles étaient délicieuses). J'ai un doute sur les frites qui devaient être congelées mais le reste était frais.Mon mari est intolérant au gluten. Aucune difficulté pour "transformer" un plat. Ce qui devait être pané ne l'a pas été. (les escalopes ne sont donc pas préparées à l'avance ni même des articles surgelés !)Il y a un choix suffisant de plats, de salades, de burgers. Le cadre est agréable, dans une jolie cour/jardin. Comme à la maison.Dehors, si vous avez le choix, ne prenez pas les tables juste au bord de la rue : il y a vraiment beaucoup de passage.Toilettes propres. Rien à redire.Chouette petit restau pour des voyageurs affamés."

"Kam zu einem doppelten Missverständnis. 1.Ich bestellte ein längliches Pizzabrot Diavola Sehr ungewöhnlich an sich, da Pizzabrot keinen Belag hat. Da hätte er schon mal nachfragen können ob ich nicht Pizzabaguette meinte (da ich vor allem nach einem LÄNGLICHEN Pizzabrot Diavola fragte). Diese Missverständnisse passieren, wobei ich es jedoch dreist finde, dass KEINERLEI Unverständnis seitens Verkäufers vorhanden war und er sich kein Stück Schuld eingestand. Demnach hatte ich nicht genug Geld dabei, da ein Pizzabrot laut Karte 4,90EUR kostet, worauf er mich noch hinwies. Die 4,50EUR die ich dabei hatte (für das 3,90EUR Baguette) waren demnach nicht genug und er wies mich daraufhin meine 4,50EUR dazulassen und die restlichen 40CENT ZU HOLEN . Hier will ich nochmal ausdrücklich betonen, dass ich sagte dann hole ich noch die 40 cent für das Pizzabrot und er sagte DASS DAS IN ORDNUNG SEI. Nun gehe ich nachhause, hole 40CENT. Und hier nun das zweite, nennen wir es mal Missverständnis : 2.Das Pizzabrot kostet durch den Diavola Belag doch 6,90EUR statt 4,90EUR. Da war mir natürlich der Appetit vergangen und ich sagte er kann es wegschmeißen, die 4,50EUR hab ich natürlich auch nicht wiedergesehen. Also wenn ihr Lust habt schlechten Kundenservice zu bekommen und schlecht/fehlerhaft bedient zu werden, fragt nach Max. Oder ihr geht lieber in den Nahkauf und holt euch Tiefkühlpizza, euer Ofen bedient euch besser als er."

"Ein tolles Lokal bei dem Service, Qualität und Freundlichkeit immer im Vordergrund stehen und stets erkennbar sind! Eine Steigerung ist kaum möglich! Bravo, weiter so! "Wir waren in Mundart zum Abendessen. Die Tapas waren eigentlich eine gemischte Vorspeise mit Schinken, Salami, gegrilltem Gemüse - aber alles sehr lecker. Obwohl das Restaurant nicht als mexikanisch ausgewiesen war haben wir sehr gut mexikanisch gegessen. Die Enchiladas waren hervorragend! Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Einrichtung sehr ansprechend, offenbar auch beliebtes Restaurant, da es sich nach der Öffnung schnell füllt. Sehr nette Überraschung auf unserer Durchreise, können wir nur empfehlen!"
