"I recently went to Cin Cin for their bottomless brunch with friends for the second time, and once again it did not disappoint. The food was incredible, the drinks kept flowing, and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing afternoon. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit. Price per person is £30-40, and I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5."

"If I could give 6 stars or more I would. We found the Marquis of Granby whilst looking for somewhere pet friendly to stay before travelling back to Europe via the channel tunnel. We arrived late on Thursday evening only to discover I'd booked the wrong date the staff were incredibly accommodating in finding us a room and changing the booking. When we left I forgot my charger and Silva went out of his way to contact me let me know, and offer to post the charger to me. Incredible service, and on top of that the food was outstanding, they have a wonderful selection of local wines and the place is truly dog friendly they were even able to join us for breakfast. "The Sicilian is a handy, family-run restaurant in the seaside town of Deal (Kent) offering delicious food, cheaper eats, from snacks to meals, and some of the best and reasonably priced wine in town. Located just off the High Street, the Restaurant is small (bijou), with additional seating outside for your morning coffee or one of their home-made ices. I dine here once a month, for lunch with friends. We usually each opt for the simple range of Panini to Antipasti Pasta and (collectively) a bottle of their local (Sicilian) wine. Time permitting (priorities) perhaps we’d start with a shared plate of ‘antipasto misto’, cured meats or cheeses, not to forget ‘pane e olive’, a trusted and fine accompaniment to the wine. I have always felt that the judge of a good restaurant is the soup, and have never been disappointed, but various pastas are on offer, the ‘Cannelloni Ricotta a Spinaci’ delighted my friend, the ‘Lasagne’ was among the best I have ever sampled. The baked aubergine with tomato and mozzarella ‘Parmigiana’ is another favourite. There is also a selection of pizza to suite many diverse tastes. Although we have often commented on the lovely deserts and pastries on display, we have yet to take the plunge, but ‘watch this space’ The service is friendly, we feel at home, loving the mix of authentic tastes. At the weekend The Sicilian offers evening dining, the ‘specials’ board giving an extended view of this cuisine from southern Italy."

"Booked an early curry (7.30pm) for myself and 2 friends. Restaurant decoration was good. Ambience was peaceful and not too noisy. We had poppadoms and a couple of drinks as starters and then had a main course each with three side dishes and a keema naan to share between us. The food was good and service was reasonably prompt. We enjoyed the evening and the food was good value and not overly expensive. The only negative part of the experience was the rather stern manner of one of the staff which didn't feel particularly welcoming. Having said that, everyone was perfectly polite and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again. The central location made it very accessible and easy to reach."

"I made a reservation online and received confirmation via email. On the day of our reservation, myself and my friends arrived at the restaurant only to be told they were fully booked. Despite showing my confirmation, the staff informed me that they had only been open for 2 weeks and were not online. After speaking with the manager, we were eventually seated at a table (despite many empty tables available). We waited an hour for our food to arrive and had to request cutlery and napkins as they were not provided. While waiting, a large table who were also waiting for their food ended up leaving. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon."

"Located on a quiet side street in the historic town of Sandwich, this charming old pub is a delightful spot to enjoy a meal or drinks with friends. The front bar area has a low ceiling supported by exposed wood timbers, giving it a cozy atmosphere. The walls are made of exposed flint concrete, adding to the rustic feel. The rear dining area is newer and offers views of the small outdoor patio. The menu features a small selection of game dishes, with the duck from the lunch menu receiving high praise. The food is well-prepared and presented, making it a great choice for a casual meal with friends or a business lunch. While Sandwich may not be a well-known destination, taking the time to visit this pub is definitely worth it if you find yourself in the area."

"Following TripAdvisors high rating we booked up for a weekday evening meal for our Family. The pub is in a quaint corner of a beautiful historic town, the decor is eclectic and bohemian and set the tone for a quirky and friendly vibe throughout our experience. The staff paid considerable attention to our needs and even went as far as suggesting and preparing a meal off the menu when they had notice our younger daughter was being a bit picky. The food we had was tasty and obviously fresh and home made. Servings were very generous. The staff were attentive and friendly. The venue cuts a nice balance between a local pub and a welcoming place to dine. I'd definitely go back. Don't expect a corporate dining experience but a place with local charm."

"we visited this month after the jackdaw. it was welcoming and excellent service. we belong to britstops that advertises the jackdaw for residential property to stay overnight. this gives an additional advantage to have a meal with a drink as not to drive. after the meal just go over the parking lot. the pub is also well located to stay overnight before we go to lydden circuit, where we also for crossing the canal as close to naval and other medium of crossing. because of the holding ups we were a little late for our booked table, but still greeted with a smile and did not tell any effort that our meal with friends even more pleasant than we felt restless to foot in the pub late."

"We hadn't dined at this restaurant since COVID, but we returned with our family for Sunday lunch. The service and food were outstanding, with a great selection on the menu, generous portions, and reasonable prices. We were pleased to have found a new favorite spot to eat, especially after many local establishments have closed recently. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning."

"If you are looking for a pub near Kingsdown beach, one that serves great food, by friendly staff, then this is the place for you. I booked a table for two for a couple of my guests that were celebrating their wedding anniversary. It was a short notice booking. From the moment the phone was answered, I knew it had been the right decision. Such welcoming staff and great food. The chef, Jake, cooked amazing homemade burgers and also scampi. Cooked to perfection. My guests couldn't speak highly enough. The service, by Mia, was friendly and welcoming. She made sure they were greeted warmly and congratulated them on their anniversary. I cannot fault anything. With gardens outside and a lovely English pub atmosphere, this place caters for families and large parties, as well as couples just stopping for a drink. Highly recommended! Thank you Mia and Jake."

"Recently visited the Kings Head and had a great meal. The service and quality of food provided was excellent. Friendly and accommodating to us, whilst giving us time to enjoy the food that was provided. Quick in responding to the request to book a table at the start of the experience, but no rush during the meal so was able to enjoy the cosy and comfortable surroundings of the Kings Head. Great staff and definitely value for money in terms of menu on offer."

"Pizza Excellent Beer Excellent Atmosphere Excellent Music Excellent Staff Excellent What's not to love about this little gem of a place. We had a table of 8 on Good Friday. The place was buzzing. The staff were so welcoming we relaxed straight away. The choice and quality of the beers were amazing and when our food arrived we were not disappointed. The pizzas available were different in terms toppings that we have had before and worked really well. This place keeps it simple but does it with professionalism while keeping it fun and friendly. At the end of the night we were presented with a bill that was more than reasonable. Would highly recommend to anyone."

"Five families, 21 of us in total were camping at Sandwich Technology College for the bank holiday weekend. We left it a bit late on the booking front but fortunately St Crispin Inn could accommodate us. We were so pleased they did, as it worked...out brilliantly. They were great as they had to jiggle the seating plan too, as we added two more people to our number late on. (thank you for your patience Jason We found a path, off the road, that took us to the pub in 20 minutes. St Crispin Inn had put us in our own room to the side, which I'm sure the other patrons were glad of! We were emailed the menus beforehand and had sent back our chosen mains. There was a great variety to pick from, including roasts, ribs, fish and chips and burgers. There were vegetarian options too, a vegetable tart roast and the halloumi burgers, which were delicious. All the food came out quickly and the presentation and portions were impressive. The service we had was fantastic, our large number didn't seem to phase them at all. I didn't get everyone's names but a big thanks to Liam! So to summarise, pretty location, very accommodating, brilliant friendly service and fantastic food. We couldn't have asked for more, we were very happy campers! Thank you!"

"We walked in sat at the bar area, no one was around, we thought it might be closed. We investigated further yes they were open but staff were not attentive or very welcoming, more of an intrusion, this should have set alarm bells ringing! We were seated next to a full table of around 20 yet the whole place was empty?! No Kent gin but hey! Scotch egg was good, couldn 't have the prawns because they were marinated with chorizo ?! so had the prawn cocktail, disappointing, no flavour to the sauce very few prawns. Burger was OK but chips soggy the plaice was disgusting, swimming in oil so overcooked for such a delicate fish. The potatoes which were advertised as crispy were a soggy mess, absolutely foul. We were asked how everything was I pointed out the potatoes, the waitress agreed asked if I 'd like an alternative, just some boiled new potatoes, no problem. What arrived was old new potatoes they were microwaved, equally horrible. Staff didn 't know how to deal with a genuine complaint they didn 't offer anything, needless to say we did not pay the ridiculous service charge . Would not return."

"Wasn’t sure what to expect, it was a last minute booking on Father’s Day and they had a vacancy for five and a dog! Tables outside with a gazebo and a singer setting up, but we’d elected an inside table as there was a chance of rain. Directed to our table which had a reserved sign. Table layout was spacious, distance between tables was good most venues seem to cram the tables in to maximise profit. Roast diners of lamb, beef or turkey with roast pots and seasonal veg, there were about 10 12 other main courses covering pies, fish, salad and lasagna etch plus a selection of children’s meals. You go to the bar to order your food and drinks. I opted for the steak and ale pie, chips and peas, it said there was optional seasonal veg but they sent that out anyway. Daughter had half roast chicken and others the roast Turkey. The pie was a large portion, pastry thin and the meat plentiful and full of flavour, best I’ve had in ages, the chips large and crispy and the peas were …..peas. All in all a great plate of food. Equally the other meals were generous potions, Turkey and roast potatoes almost filled the plate. The veg was well cooked, not over done and consisted of carrots, cauliflower and cabbage. More than we needed. All meals arrived together and hot, waitresses (2) were good, offered condiments and returned 10 mins later to check everything was ok. Plates cleared but not rushed to leave, declined desserts as we were too full. The bill came to £61.00 for five meals (not including drinks) when I enquired about the service charge, the owner told me it’s not included and declined to take it and politely asked me to pay our waitress direct. Must be a good place to work to have such an honest boss. Would we go back, definitely, would we recommend it, yes but don’t all book at once or we may find it harder to get a table!"

"When we went there for the first time we were told they only do food at six. When we went there for the second time and wanted to eat at six again, we were told they don 't do food that late. ? Make up your mind. Other people came after us and were able to eat even though they supposedly don 't do food that late . Two stars because the food was good at least, but set your opening times and *keep* them."
"they want to say a big thank you to helen layla rest of the rod on the crown. each one of you played a big roll in making sure lisa myself had a dream wedding! from beginning to end it was absolutely amazing! helen layla they were both fantastic, not only sure that the whole day ran smoothly, but also make sure everyone had a fabulous time! especially us newlyweds! so many of our friends and family have commented on how wonderful the whole day and evening was, and how chilled relaxed it was to xxx the barn looked incredible as well as xxx bar staff were fantastic xxx food was lovely the service to xxx when we say a negative thing, it would be just that the day and the night just went too fast for us! many thanks again they have our day special with wonderful photographs back on we are made Thank you."

"I understand that the staff were doing their best, but considering we paid full price despite a shortage of staff, I have to give this restaurant a rating of 3. We were informed that the restaurant has changed ownership since our last visit, when we had a great meal. Unfortunately, this time the roast beef was tough and extremely rare. Our dog seemed to enjoy it though. The french beans were undercooked, far from being 'al dente'. We had to use our own tissues as there were no napkins on the table, and none were offered to us. The Lemon and Lime cheesecake I ordered was bland, so much so that I had my husband taste it to confirm. It was difficult to identify the topping. We were also surprised by the price of a pint of beer when we received the bill, as there were no drink prices displayed in the bar."
