"I was very much impressed from the moment we walked in. The restaurant dining karaoke rooms are spreads over a number of floors. We were greeted by the friendly staff. A few friends ran late and they were still able to accommodate us. We ordered a number of items and they were all bursting with flavour. The kimchi beef ramen were extremely filling and flavourful. The udon, California roll was also very nice we’re also very nice We then moved in to the karaoke rooms and since they weren’t too busy at that time, they allowed us stay a bit longer. Overall, I would recommend this place especially if you’re looking for a group activity but also somewhere nice to eat. Will definitely be back. 10/10"

"Restaurant was empty, which was as well because they had no knowledge of our booking. Three of us had the tapas selection and one the sea bass. Food was good, some of it very good. Pianist was not so good, but we didn’t have the heart to give him to stop playing. Wine was reasonably priced given the quality. Thought the place would have been more popular given the quality, but the waiter told us the previous evening had been very busy"

"My first visit recently was on a Friday evening and the restaurant was full and very noisy. This is my only reason for not awarding five stars. The food was excellent and my friend, who made different menu choices, fully agreed. The service was friendly and quick but not rushed so we could enjoy a leisurely meal. The only drawback was the noise level, which increased the longer we were there and made it difficult to hear ourselves talk. I'll look forward to going again on an evening that is less likely to have large post-work groups."

"This is the worst dining experience I have had in Dublin due to one of the waiters We booked a table and deposited the money required, which I understood due to the busy time. There was a very rude waiter who said to us (quote) 'Nobody comes to a restaurant just to order deserts when he got to know that we were just ordering wine and deserts, other than a full set three-course meal We completely understand the rationale behind this, but the way this message was delivered to us was very unprofessional, disrespectful and in fact, very rude. I could think of a million ways to better tell your customers the same information. The waiter is black (This is not related to race at all! but his language could come across rude due to English not being his first language? benefit of the doubt is given here However, when we were leaving, the nice female receptionist was super nice and professional, making it less awkward to both sides Still, no customers should be treated like this"

After that sat at table for 15 minutes waiting for someone to eat over. Eventually got order in, waitress didn't even ask if we wanted anything to drink. We were there 30 minutes before we actually got a drink. Not really acceptable in a quiet restaurant, that was closing in less than an hour closes early on a Monday. Food was good when it came, and different waitress by now, who was so much better. So a mixed bag. I know staff difficulties at present, but 10 minutes training in fundamentals would help. As would have someone in charge on the floor to ensure paying customers are being looked after. Poor management from what I saw. Pity, as some of the staff were great, others very poor. "my partners arrived eating, not a sign of me. a woman who seemed more superior came after a past and asked what my order was. first, a false head office arrived, which had to be sent back. my head finally arrived, and one side soon came after. I thought it was my veggie gyozas, but only after eating one, I realized that it was actually black. I ate them because my eating was already so delayed and I'm not a vegetarian anyway. only when I had finished my main page, a part of the veggie gyozas appeared, which we refused, and said I had already got mine (art! and one because later came another, which we also rejected. I was for my main command, but really there was so much chaos around me, I think we had more composed. my partner cha han donburi came without an early onshore or pickles, so it was quite bland, and we were really very excited to try mochis for the rest of time and they were also not great. we left the waiting time to order our dessert and even longer to get our bill. a real shame, as we would look so much forward to our journey to wagamamas, as there are no one in the city in which we live."

"We like Vermillion a lot. We have been going there for years and the quality has been consistently high. The environment is nice and the waiters always very kind. We have found that the temperature of the room tends to be a little on the cold side, mostly in contrast with the softness of the carpet and the colors chosen for the walls, but this is just a matter of personal taste. Food is consistently very good. Prices are noticeably higher than other Indian takeaways in the surroundings but the cost seems more than justified by the tastiness of the food and the experience of dining-in. I usually enjoy large portions. I like that in the case of Vermillion they are manageable: they are large enough to satisfy me but not too large that I would be able to eat only 1 thing. Most recipes are in fact very rich with cream and sauces. Tonight we tried to share a starter of prawns (really good) and 1 main of lamb to be able to taste 4 different vegetarian sides. We loved the variety, flavour texture of each course."

"We ordered the Home Kit for PORK PRAWN SICHUAN STYLE WONTONS and it was delivered as promised on Saturday. The kids (ages 12, 10, and 8) had a fantastic time making everything. The instructions were simple, and the flavors were incredible—absolutely delicious! We can't wait to try the BLACK GARLIC PORK DAN DAN NOODLES next time. Thank you for a wonderful Saturday night at home!"

"I absolutely loved this place! It has a warm atmosphere and beautiful cherry blossom tree on the way in. We had some cocktails with friends over there and we really liked the drinks. Bao buns and bar bites were delicious as well! The building is very cool, it is a perfect spot for a date night! The team was good and very attentive. I am looking forward to coming back soon."

"The afternoon tea at the Iveagh gardens hotel was very expensive for was it is: 100eur for 2 pers. which only included few small very basic club sandwiches, desserts cut in half or even quarters (even the smallest fruit like blueberry were cut in half as to clearly save them money), scone, tea pot and one glass of prossecco. Nothing special regarding the food. Being in a corner of a very noisy entrance lobby didn't help. The ambiance was non-existent. We had to go and get our waiters several time as they forgot about us/ basis things such as milk. Menus were worn down and missing basic information such as content/allergens of sandwiches. Overall, not a good experience at all and definitively not worth that extortionate price. I would not recommend the afernoon tea in this hotel at all."

"FIrstly, my boyfriend and I were very confused when we showed up and the staff in Adelphi said they had no record of my reservation. Luckily, they did happen to have an empty table for two and we were shown to our seats. Weirdly, I got a confirmation email, two days later..., to say that my reservation had been accepted. Secondly, and most importantly, the menu on OpenTable and on Adelphi's own website is completely different to what they actually have in the bar. We went expecting a casual restaurant offering steaks, burgers, lasagna, etc. but instead Adelphi is a bar offering bar food like hot dogs and nachos (which would be fine if that's what we had been looking for). We were so confused, thinking we were either in the wrong place or that there must be another dinner menu. When we asked the very nice waitress about the menu she said she'd been working there for over a year and this had always been the only menu they had. She did mention though that Adelphi used to be part of the Abbey hotel but now it's separate, which we figured must be the reason for the change in menu. So then we had to try and find a walk-in restaurant and put our names on the waiting list. We ended up being nearly an hour and a half late to a birthday party as a result."
