"we shared a big wing, they were the best we had in a long time. the Asian salmon and the classic burgers were very good. all left off the service, a table of 4, which came in well 10 minutes after us served before us and my head of Asian salmon came with the starter. I sent it back, but I'm almost sure that the same dish was served when we finished our starter when it was warm."

"We were really looking forward to this reservation as we have heard about Rosa Madre for a long time. Little details like the cutlery, wine glasses and plates as second to none. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. The decor was nice and cosy but i think for a table of 2 you're kind of shoved down the side where it was very busy as the kitchen was at the other end. Now for the food... Prawn starter was tasty, plenty of prawns, maybe a bit too much going on with the sauces had like 3 maybe 4 different varieties of tastes. The burrata was one of the nicest we have ever eaten The mains we got Cavatelli with Sausages Ragu and a fillet steak. We got a bottle of Primitivo which was delicious and complimented the food really well. We didnt get desert but the knew it was my wives birthday so they brought us out a tiramisu and it was SO light and tasty im not a desert fan or coffee but i have to say it was really really nice. Thank you Rosa Madre"

"Cute pub on Bath Avenue, this place is instantly appealing for the great courtyard/terrace to the front. Whether just for a drink or some grub this place is worth a visit. Staff are friendly and are very helpful particularly when you're trying ti grab the next available table outside... ha ha, yes they are like gold dust during a nice day and they happily sit you inside and move your order outside without any fuss or sense that you are inconveniencing them. Food, I've only had the brunch menu which I enjoyed and would happily return :"

"We had a fantastic experience at this lovely wine bar! As a group from the Netherlands, we were searching for a cozy wine bar in Dublin and this place fit the bill perfectly. While a bit more upscale than others, it was definitely worth the slightly out-of-the-way location from our apartment. The atmosphere was great, the food was amazing, and the service was top-notch. The burrata and eggplant dishes were particularly delicious. We loved the snug "cellar" area with the high top table. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves in Dublin again!"

"We were welcomed like old friends and despite being early for our reservation, taken to our table and treated like Queens (the royal type). the food was tasty, hot, well presented and just fabulous. The service was attentive but unobtrusive. The restaurant is gorgeous, fresh, clean and totally in keeping with it's seaside location. Once the building work across the road is finished it will once again have fabulous views out across the bay. I would say while not the cheapest meal I have ever had it was reasonable and for what we had very good value for money. I cannot recommend a trip to Waterfront Bistro enough if you find yourself in Dun Laoghaire."

"I thought the food was excellent. I had the steak for main and tuna to start. Both dishes full of flavour and very enjoyable. Shared a nice bottle of Malbec and finished it off with a Baileys coffee. As good a meal as I have had in a while. I managed to taste the lobstar roll and escalopes which were also very good. Veronica (i believe one of the owners) managed to accommodate my sister who is pregnant and move us from the counter to a normal table. Excellent experience overall."

"We met Giorgio and his wife randomly at a small pub in Belfast. He invited me and my friend to his restaurant in Dublin with open arms. We said we he there the next day which he openly invited us. Well I can say it 's an amazing spot! I love family owned places and he and his son were amazing the whole way through. We arrived on a last minute reservation and when we walked in Giorgio literally looked at us and said Jason I can 't believe you made it . His wife has decorated the place perfectly. It 's such an intimate spot and the service is impeccable. His son Rudy even visited us multiple times to explain our dinner options and preferences. The meat and cheese plate is one of the best I have ever had and some of the meat the literally bring from their local town which was simply amazing. The waiter was so welcoming and consistently attentive to us and everyone he served. This place is such a hidden gem so if you are ever in Dublin and in the mood for Italian I would say hands down go to Gigi 's. It will be an experience you will never forget. And if Rudy or Giorgio asks .. tell them Jason and Lep from America recommended it!"

"My boyfriend and I walked into town for our reservation, only to be informed that the menu was changing and there was no food available for the month of January, only cocktails. I was able to book a dinner reservation through OpenTable, so we were understandably disappointed. The staff were somewhat apologetic, but it was still very inconvenient for us. We had difficulty finding another place to eat on a Saturday at such short notice, and OpenTable also wouldn't allow me to make another reservation since I already had a "booking.""

"I love seafood, and love watching foodie channels and programmes. For so long now, we've wanted to eat at a place that blew our minds. Howth is great but I have never had the pleasure of a seafood platter like at Matts. We ate it as mains for 2 and it could have been enjoyed by 4 but don't you da4e make it smaller Matt. Just out of this world. I'm not lying when I say I woke up the next day and it was the first thing I thought of, haha its that good. We are booking again."

"Came here for dinner with a friend tonight, food was gorgeous and loved the New Orleans style menu. Only thing I would have to say is you can really tell there is a quick turn around in customers which led to the waitress asking us if we had finished our food twice- while eating-to which we said no. She also took our plates afterwards and asked if we would like the dessert menu to which we stated no we were full then came back 5 minutes later asking if we want dessert. Basically being told to leave that the table was needed.. this happened multiple times and as someone who was previously worked in food beverage it’s always polite to ask if everything is okay but then there is borderline annoyance while trying to enjoy your meal."

"Lovely little restaurant with outstanding food. Definitely start with the chicken momos, they're fantastic. My partner ordered paneer tikka masala and said the sauce was a bit sweet for her taste, but her garlic naan disappeared quickly. I had the nepalese chicken curry, which was similar to other curries I've had but very well balanced and delicious, especially with hot roti. We would love to come back someday."

"Firstly , we get a takeaway from here almost every Friday night the sushi is absolutely fantastic and the food quality overall is excellent but we always collect as despite living five minutes drive away it can be very Hap hazard in terms of accuracy and time for delivery . Last week we decided to meet friends there instead 8.15 booking , food again delicious but when we asked for plates as we wanted to share a number of dishes the saucers were produced for each of us with no serving spoons. Everything seems to be a hassle when asked for . I then asked for a coffee at 9.30 I was told in a rude fashion that no I couldn’t as the kitchen closes at 9 pm !! Despite there being another two tables still in the restaurant the bleach bucket and mop then appeared to start cleaning down the restaurant ! This included the whole way down the stairs which was completely wet as we carefully tried to leave without slipping on the freshly mop floors at 10 pm on a Friday night ! you feel like you are imposing and irritating them by eating in . So 5 outta 5 for a takeaway but 2/5 as an eating in experience im afraid ."

"I've been lucky to be able to photograph for 2 weddings at the Anglers Rest now and both times have been amazing. The guys are so accomadating and Agi is worth her weight in gold she's a superstar. Lovely venue, lovely staff and even better food highly recommended for any couple who wants that intimate and more personal alternative to the big hotels. "Had food here and the carvery was fine. Bar staff were sharp and nice. the place is very big but I have never been in there late. Loads of ex footballers come to the pub for events so it has a been football following and live music. Not sure if it felt like my kinda evening venue so I never tried. Its the same sort of thing as the Bell and the Carpenter. They all start to blend one into the other with styling, menus and target markets. If its your thing go for it."

"It was a very comfortable, relaxing, safe and enjoyable experience. Even in a pandemic, Brickyard follows the guidelines and has many seating options with space around you. The food is always 10/10 and a great variety of craft beers on tap, with great cocktails too. If you enjoy the beer or cocktail, you can buy some growlers to go. The Pornstar Martini is my favorite because it’s not so sweet it makes your teeth hurt like other places. You can just sit back and enjoy it and take a double to go home . The Service is always friendly, honest and prompt. We enjoy their brunches too their Mimosa is out of this world and Bailey Lattes hit the spot. For this holiday season, I’m loving their Christmas Sando and their Korean Pancakes are always a staple with our family and group of friends. The Burgers are tasty too they even have a Vegan Burger my vegan friends love. The Chicken wings are yummy in the tummy with all of the variety of flavors tickling your tastebuds and Vegan friendly options of “cauliflower wings” so you can get something tasty. If you like real American hot spicy Brickyard has unlocked this formula and know how to do it well while not destroy the taste of the food. Again Brickyard’s food is 10/10"

"The food was exquisite. Everything tasted just as it should, probably even better. I would rate them one of the better Italian restaurants in Dublin. Probably all of Ireland. They have a huge vegetarian option for those who don't eat meats or are vegan. Could not have asked for a better meal . Loved it all."

"Went here last Wednesday night on the strength of their advertised all night early bird Sunday to Thursday. Only to be told when we went to order at 7.20pm that it finished at 7pm. After quite a lengthy conversation the lady eventually let us order off the early bird menu. However, what I found extremely infuriating was, when the starter landed on the table for us to eat, the manager came over and proceeded to ask us where we saw the offer- what website, saying he couldn't find it, and that we must be wrong with our information. My poor friend who booked the table was quite upset, as she felt responsible for ruining the night. He was quite obnoxious and I asked if we could at least eat the starter while it was still warm and that we would find the website when we got a chance. We of course did find the address- their own website, which he then told me he couldn't see on his laptop and only I could see that misinformation on my phone. It was an extremely stressful situation to be in and put a very bad taste in all our mouths. I would be extremely slow to return"

"I absolutely love Pacino's and would happily choose it for lunch or dinner regularly when meeting up with friends. The food is amazing, the ambiance is lively and the staff are wonderful. On our most recent visit on a Saturday evening we had a really lovely waitress looking after us she was very attentive, chatty and brilliant for helping with menu choices (we couldn't decide! The only problem appeared to be a "glitch" with our order so we ended up waiting an inordinate amount if time for our main courses to arrive. That being said the m'aitre d apologised profusely once the problem came to his attention and it was generously reflected in our bill Truth be told we enjoyed the food even more when it did arrive Aileen C. "This restaurant is truly charming with its intimate atmosphere and options for seating both upstairs and downstairs. I highly recommend making a reservation as it can get quite busy and may not accommodate walk-ins. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, however, it's worth noting that the bathroom is located upstairs. I had the goats cheese starter and Ox cheek main course, both of which were delicious. The mashed potatoes side was also excellent. The menu isn't extensive but the food is top-notch. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience."
