"I had just completed a lovely walk and was looking forward to a coffee and scone before heading shopping then home. It had been a while since I had been in this cafe and I was passing so! there I was! Coffee came fairly quickly but my scone reminded me of my own disastrous cooking skills! It was burnt! It looked more like a rock bun! I asked if I could have one which wasnt burnt and was told they are all the same! I refused any type of scone! I would never put that down to someone! On commenting when I paid I was told once you get past the crust it is lovely inside!! I also observed a server advising people certain items were not available and also someone left practically their whole salad on the plate!! I think the public deserve better than this! Needless to say I wont be back there are better coffee shops in Milngavie! I notice they are advertising for staff perhaps when that happens things will improve????"

"Absolutely Brilliant for 5.25, 2 Bacon, 2 Sausages, Egg, Black Pudding, Potato Scone, Tomato and Beans. Served with Toast, Butter and Tea or coffee with complementary refill. even after 11am u can get it with an upcharge to 6.25. I'll be here everyday til I need to go home. Debbie and Brenda are the nicest people, it's like eating at home. great conversation and loving caring nature. Cheers I'll be back"

"Look, I know its a Wetherspoons, but honestly this place is a reliably decent pub with good quality food. Give it a shot! I've had a better experience here than some high end restaurants that rely on waiters/waitresses! Never had food from here that I didn't enjoy, and everything is SO cheap! Been here like 6 times for food in the last month (a borderline addiction some would say . just because of the reliability of good food, minimal effort ordering process through the app, and extremely low cost (sometimes a giant burger and chips and drink are as low as £7! . If you're looking for a chilled out pub with mobile app ordering (no awkward ordering at the bar! yay! that is mostly filled with quiet pensioners eating or quiet solo drinkers for a nice bit of grub then this the place for you. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"I was in Wednesday for lunch with my friend. The food was lovely but one thing that let it down was the following. We both were about to decide to leave when one of the servers came over asking did we want anything else, she had her hands behind her back My friend said no just the bill please Straight away she took the bill from behind her back. After we left I thought that was a bit rude of her she also did it to the table next to us too. Feel that's very un professional to do this."

"Wish we had read the reviews for this restaurant before eating here but I’m afraid The Oregano restaurant is in need of some decent management. There were five of us dining and we were placed at a table so near the disabled toilets that we could see right into the toilet when the door was opened……not exactly a view you expect or want when dining. Our main issue however was the time that we had to wait for our main meal- almost one and a half hours. We did check with the young waiter who was very polite and respectful if our food would be coming soon and he did check for us as requested. When the food eventually arrived, the soup that my elderly mother had waited patiently for was stone cold and had to be returned. No excuses for this as many tables around us were empty and only a few tables in the Glasshouse were occupied- so it certainly didn’t look busy. We didn’t order deserts as we couldn’t face the wait again. Such a poor experience and this spoiled a birthday celebration for us. When people are paying to dine they deserve a much better service. When the bill came we had been charged almost £18 extra for drinks that we didn’t have. On speaking to the manager he resolved the bill issue but initially tried to lay the blame for the extensive wait on the young waiter who had been exemplary and then tried to justify the hour and a half wait as though it was acceptable. He did say that they they would review it in a staff debrief at the end of the night but my guess from reading previous reviews is that nothing will change. The Eagle Lodge seems to do ok in catering for weddings and perhaps they put much of their resource into this…….but I don’t see how the restaurant can survive if they continue to treat customers like this. Given the number of poor reviews on this site alone- management need to take responsibility."

As for parking, there’s plenty of space available with free options in both the parking lot and on the street."

"It was my Granddaughter's birthday on the 11th and 6 of us were going for dinner, 3 Adults and 3 children. Our server was Ellen and she just couldn't do enough for us and very helpful with the girls choice of menu, nothing was a bother for her with 3 very excited girls. They even made my Granddaughters birthday for her when they brought her cake out and played Happy Birthday for her. Thank u Frankieandbennys for the lovely food we had, portion were great size good value for money. S. Kelly"

"Order Chicken with Green Peppers in Black Bean Sauce, salt n chilli chicken balls, Chicken Chow Mein This was a great meal. The restaurant was busy and there was even a birthday celebration. Glad to see everyone enjoying themselves. Time 10 mins for the starter. I was there for about an hour and a half in total. Presentation see pics. The Chicken with Green Peppers in Black Bean Sauce even had a white rose in it. (I didn't eat that lol) Quality 4/5 The quality was exceptional and very tasty. Everything was cooked perfectly. Compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area this was probably the best experience I've had dining in. Quantity 3/5 not too much or too little but there was only 4 chicken balls in the starter. The main courses were very filling and they supplied plenty of rice and noodles in the chow mein. Value for money Very Good compared to similar places. Worked out less than £20 per person with a drink. Additionally all in all a great dining experience and the service was second to none very quick and efficient considering how busy they were and doing takeaways at the same time. Vegetarian options: Yes Kid friendliness: Yes there was a kids birthday celebration when I was there. Parking: Plenty outside Wheelchair accessibility: Yes Dietary restrictions: See the chef Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20"

"we ordered our high time cake and dessert table the honey bee and they were amazing! vittoria was so professional and helpful in any communication to help us get the order we wanted. everything was absolutely delicious and the cake looked stunning. we ordered rich cupcakes, pavlovas and donuts beside our high quality cake and we loved to choose our aromen and combinations. I would recommend honeybee as a high-time supplier!"

"We placed our order online which was very easy and it was ready within 10 minutes of placing the order! They have a really good selection of food and it was great value for money, especially as we live within walking distance. My satay chicken skewers were thoughtfully packaged so it wouldn’t spill, and the food was really delicious! My partner has very high standards about Chinese food and Taste Good Wok definitely lived up to them!"

"Dropped in to collect meals for my family, had my young son with me. I have visited this Fish and Chip shop for many years, more so after the change in ownership and other than one issue previously, I have never experienced any issues nor had complaints about the delicious food. Due to the recent events involving the lady, who I presume to be the manager, I will never return to this chip shop. This ‘manager’ had no leadership skills in any sense. I witnessed in complete horror, the way this lady belittled the poor girls forced to be behind that counter with this woman. For myself and my son to listen to this lady calling a staff member “A f g idiot”. How that poor girl managed to hold those tears at bay was commendable. If I was the parent to any of these staff members and found out that my child was being spoken to in that way, that would very easily bring out my temper and a lawsuit on this establishment and that bully. The owner really needs to have a harsh word to this lady or better still, consider replacing her before they lose their last few remaining loyal customers. An appalling way to treat any human being. I will not be back."

"Been eating here for years and most meals ok or good. Ordered almost £40 of Meals today , and have been doing so for years. Curry was inedible as way too spicy and they admitted to changing supplier. They were reluctant to give a replacement meal saying they don’t find it spicy. They clearly couldn’t take constructive criticism. . They even had the audacity to try change another delivery charge and another £1.20 for a different replacement meal balance. So for £1.20 and extremely poor customer service they have effectively lost hundreds of pounds of business from my family not to mention word of mouth! . I certainly won’t be back. Not sure they know the meaning of customer service. So poor. Very disappointed in the awful response and service here."
