"A gorgeous autumnal day and decided we’d have some brunch. Walked past the Deli many times with our dog but never ventured in, now we are without him we decided to give it a go. Hot salt beef sandwich was excellent as was sausage and egg breakfast roll. Really good Americanos and a couple of brownies to go. While we are dog free we’ll come again!"

"We booked a table at Pizza Express Walton tonight 11th May thinking it may be a little busy but when we turned up we were the only people there we asked about heating or even blankets and was told no we have never supplied outdoor heating we were then told the restaurant just along has heating ! Great business tactic there Anyway we order drinks and pizzas and decided to grin and bare it ...at 9.15pm we went inside to order a coffee as no one came out to ask if we wanted dessert and was told sorry coffee machine not working so i said not working or just being cleaned and you just dont want to do it ? So once i said that he said yes sorry but its late and we are no longer serving coffee ! My reply was ive sat outside with no heating and i want a coffee the manager then appears and said ok we will do it ! ....all this branch wanted to do was close down early and they just couldnt be bothered if that is the case DO NOT OPEN ! I would have thought you would he rushing to open the doors to customers not making the dining experience even worse than it already was .... P.s...when we went to the ladies we noticed their used blue masks on the tables ...not a good look when its meant to be cleaned down to prevent the virus ..... Note to Pizza Express if you state 10pm and someone orders coffee at 9.15pm.pls accomondate the manager the waiter just couldnt be bothered totally unimpressed by tonights experience will not be rushing back to this place"

"We took my Mum and Dad for Afternoon Tea at the Woodlands Park Hotel as a treat to celebrate their recent 90th and 95th Birthdays. The food and drink was excellent but the service was very disappointing in two respects. Firstly we arrived in good time for our 3.30pm booking slot but I stood at Reception desk for a full 10 minutes and was completely ignored. The one member of staff behind the desk was sorting out an IT problem over the phone and completely blanked me not even an I 'll be with you in a minute . After 10 minutes I set off round the hotel to try to find any member of staff who might be able to tell me where we needed to go (the website suggests that Afternoon Tea can be taken in any one of three rooms but our reservation confirmation did not state which). I found a member of staff and was directed to the Oak Room. The second disappointment was that the two staff serving Afternoon Tea clearly had no idea about the etiquette if taking afternoon tea . We were given our pots of tea a full 10 minutes before any food arrived. Eventually I had to ask one of the staff when we might expect some food (by now we had been at the Hotel for 40 minutes). It is not unreasonable to expect food and drink for Afternoon Tea to be served at about the same time. None of us wanted to drink a lot of tea first and then not have room for sandwiches and cakes. The other disappointment was the general decor in the Oak Room. It lacked the special atmosphere which you would normally expect for a formal Afternoon Tea. I 'm sorry to say, but I cannot recommend this venue for Afternoon Tea."

"I have been here a few times for lunches with friends, celebrate my birthday with a few friends (12) with hot drinks diff yummy cakes (March 2022). Good choice lunch menu we had tuna sandwiches smoothies. Staff lovely can't do enough for you. Thanks to Lily(who is off to Uni) Biancia who changed gluten free pasta kids menu to fish fingers as pasta stuck like glue..... needs to have boiling water poured on top onced cooked little olive oil over it, but tom sauce needed some cheese on top too. We had burger, quiche mushroom bacon very yummy X 2, hot/cold drinks, cakes were lovely too, toffee, coffee walnut, but I had the bake well tart as it has least cals..... Don't forget to get your reward card stamped with your hot drinks as get a free 1 after 10 stamps. Thanks to all the staff sorry forgotten your names..... Garden centre lovely to walk around in/out door, fab gifts too. Plenty of free parking too."

"Disgusting place. unhealthy. unclean. needs to be shut down. unprofessional manager or owner whoever the guy that was running the place tonight. Stopped by this placr last Sunday evening Feb 2nd on my way from London to Brussels Belgium for busibess meetings. bought a Burrito take away. almost swallowed a big piece of metal that was inside it while eating it. it was life threatening. on my way back to London tonight Feb 7th, I made sure to stop by, showed the guy running the place what I found in the burrito. the guy had an attitude, disrespectfull, unprofessional, in denial. This place needs to be shut down. health and hygiene services should investigate it!"

"This was our first time visiting Ruby's and it was five star quality all round. The food was delicious, authentic and brilliant value for money. We ordered the Monday/Tuesday deal which included a starter, main dish, rice or naan and a side from the vegetable menu all for only £15! There was a brilliant selection of vegetarian dishes sides and the lovely owner who served us was genuinely interested in our day and incredibly welcoming. A trip to Ruby's will not disappoint, we only wish we visited sooner!"

"Myself , husband , some and mother in law booked for Sunday lunch, having been about 8-9 times before we knew the meat could be a little hit and miss (sometimes really tough and chewy) but we thought we 'd go again and hope for a good day! We were the only table in for about 30 min then throughout the entire lunch only one other table came . The buffet style started was a let down all seafood its of boney fish nothing meat or fruit based my son (18months) loves fish but because of al the bones couldn 't really eat it, I we never order the soup as the times we have it 's been like water !! Sunday lunch is suppose to be comforting , lots of vegetable selections , lovely fluffy yorkshires it 's suppose to be like mum made accept this lunch the beef was so incredibly chewy , the Yorkshire would have been perfect if they weren 't swimming with oil. The potatoes weren 't brown and crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle they were pale and bland . The veg was like something you 'd get in school dinner hall ... carrots, broccoli and cauliflower all cooked together in one pot . They use to have all the veg Separate and a much bigger better selection , there was no stuffing although when asked they do reheat some in microwave for me .. which was awful (unfortunately) The gravy was the only Good thing about the meal . The dessert table also use to be lovely except NEVER eat the cheesecake they always use gelatine and it 's never dissolved properly so you end up gagging on tiny bits of rubbery gelatine! They use to have a cheese selection they don 't seem to anymore . They staff were friendly but not very aware if all out played being full on clearing the table . Such a shame"

"The food at this restaurant was excellent, making it the best Thai meal we've had in a while. However, the fact that the restaurant was unusually empty on a Saturday night (resulting in a lower rating for ambience) was surprising given the high quality and value of the food. We highly recommend trying the duck curry."
