"We came from Slovenia to visit Culinary Olympics in Erfurt. After all day travel we wanted to have nice German dinner in a heart of this beautiful town. We found this place, accidently while we have been exploring old part of town. The place seemed...promising so we decided to enter. Waitress has been nice, we didn’t want to complicate and we all took the same dish: pork shank with dumpling, sauerkraut and gravy. Some of us started with some onion soup which not bad, but not so good that it would be worth to mention. After a while waitress brought the main course, which is the main reason of this review. Shank has been overcooked not properly warmed burned outside and absolutely not fresh. Some of the shanks have been burned so much that they were smelled like burned pork cadaver. Side dish has been mostly prefabricated (dumplings, gravy) and then warmed. We have been all very disappointed because we have been expected way much better food from their territory. Burping reminded me for the rest of the night, that my dinner was not what it should be."

"One of a few restaurants open on Christmas Eve, they were very welcoming and the food was served fast and hot! Since we arrived so late, they were accomodating in recommending dishes based on our preferences (ie, not real spicy). We ordered the Bhuna Chicken...and Palak Paneer both plates were excellent! We ended our evening with a stroll around the city center, which was directly out the door nice spot to continue a city tour or a quick lunch stop. Recommended."

"Eine sehr Gute Pizzeria in Erfurt. Die Pizzeria hat Niveau von Italiener, man wird von Geschmackt und Frische nicht enttäuscht. "Was für ein guter Schuppen. Wollten nach den Konzert was reinschaufeln. Zum Glück hatte der McD zu, so dass wir den Laden entdeckten und so in unseren Fressherz schliessen konnten. Die Pizza war gierig und die Calzone meines Fressbruders, war laut seiner Aussage die beste wo er je verschlungen hatte. Ambiente top, gab Spielautomaten und ein richtig großen Aschenbecher. Wir gaben den spielenden Bands bescheid. Die fanden den Laden auch gierig. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die Fressfreundlichen Uhrzeiten (bis 3 Uhr Nachts."

""Keine Tischreservierung für 12 Personen im Biergarten möglich"Ich wollte eine Tafel für 12 ehemalige Mitarbeiter im Biergarten für Anfang Juli 2017 reservieren. Es sollte ein gemütlicher Abend unter Freunden werden. Leider bekam ich vom Restaurantleiter die Nachricht, das wir nur an 2 getrennten 6er Tischen Platz nehmen könnten, da sonst zuviele Plätze verloren gehen würden. Wie sollen sich befreundete Gäste über 2 Tische hinweg unterhalten und das auch noch gemütlich finden ? In Wahrheit will der Gastwirt grundsätzlich keine Tische im Biergarten verrücken. Vor Ort sah ich mich um und mußte feststellen, dass es durchaus möglich wäre, an einen 10er Tisch noch einen kleinen Tisch anzustellen, ohne das Ambiente des Biergartens zu stören. Allerdings nur wenn man will. Dieser Gastwirt wollte nicht und enttäuscht lieber 12 zahlende Gäste. Es ist mir wirklich unverständlich, wie unbeweglich man sich in diesem Gasthaus bei Gästewünschen verhält.Zum Glück gibt es in Erfurt noch weitere schöne Restaurants mit Biergarten, die in dieser Frage beweglicher und gastfreundlicher sind."

"We were at lunch with 6 people. The table decoration with the fabric napkins was very elegant. The waiter was supernet, fast and very polite. All wishes were met in advance. And lunch for us has tasted very well and the dishes, carvings, ribbon noodles with salmon and pizza were very tasty prepared and dressed. "directly at the crämerbrücker. we sat in the tresor. the terrace outside was very well visited. the service had a lot to do. in the vault it is actually beautiful original. only the somewhat too loud pop music in the background did not fit the environments. also the open area in the kitchen was a bit restless. the service was fast and very friendly. there was no bread and butter or note, but I don't know if it's in erfurt usus. we ordered from the map the specialties of the region bratwurst chick on kartoffelstampf and sourkraut and once rinderroulade with thüringer knödel on red cabbage. the food was very delicious. the roulade is a little firm, but still ok. but the rest, especially the potato tamphe, was very delicious."

"We were in Erfurt just before Christmas. When we arrived, the brook stylus seemed like a small dream world. Excellent on a small hill you can get from top to wide. The garden looks like a little mess, but this is planned to the smallest detail. When you enter the place, you will immediately feel secret and safe. The ambience is simply unique, just like the whole evening and the menu itself. No furniture is similar to the other so that a certain magic is created that attracts the guests. The pre-booked menu is included with the other guests of the evening. That means every guest gets his menu at the same place as all others. Although you don't even know the other people, a certain connection is established and that just creates a certain surprise. The evening was completely perfect and unique in itself! We thank Maria, her husband Matthias and the whole team of the evening for this wonderful experience. There is only one thing to say: fantastic incomparable!"

"Ich sags mal so: 3 1/2 Sterne hätte ich auch noch gerne gegeben. Eventuell auch vier, wäre mein eigenes Essen eine andere Wahl gewesen. Die Spaghetti Bolognese meines Freundes waren wirklich sehr gut - intensiv aromatisch, fein abgeschmeckt & Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis top! Ich wählte von der Tageskarte die hausgemachten Pappardelle mit Pfifferlingen, Filetspitzen & Trüffelsoße. Die feine Trüffelnote ging durch die Überwürzung ganz schön unter, die Filetspitzen wurden vergessen - für 18,50€ ziemlich ärgerlich, aber immerhin wurden sie nachgeliefert. Was Würze & vor allem Salz angeht bin ich eher unempfindlich: aber das war leider eindeutig versalzen, super schade. Die Pfifferlinge waren okay, die Pasta immerhin wie erwartet gut. Auch dachte ich, dass ich meine eigene Muttersprache (?) in vielen Akzenten verstehe; aber leider war die Verständigung mit dem Kellner äußerst.. naja, schwierig. Das Ambiente könnte ebenso deutlich gemütlicher sein. Kommen wir wieder? Schwer zu sagen - 1/2 Gerichten war ja definitiv in Ordnung. Bei einem zweiten Versuch würde ich allerdings die Finger von hochpreisigeren Gerichten lassen, dann ärgert man sich hinterher weniger."

"Service was terrible. The waiter was surly. Although there were four waiters standing around watching the three tables with guests, the drinks never arrived. The attitude from all but a quick and cheerful young woman was as though they were seething over something. Do they...just hate tourists here? My burger was raw in the middle. Not rare but raw, but at that point, I didn’t bother asking them to cook it some more. With the reception I got from the front of the house, I was afraid what they might do in the kitchen. Would not recommend, would stay away."

"Further reviews are available on Instagram at @erfurtdoener and here on my page. Rating: Meat: The meat is from all the diners I have eaten lately in Erfurt my clear favorite. Bread: The bread is made self-made and tastes very good. Salad: The salad selection is as it should be with every neat diner, fresh and tasty. sauce: Firat Döner has garlic yogurt and a sharp sauce. I usually take yoghurt and sharp sauce. Especially I can recommend the yogurt sauce. Ambiance: The shop has an indoor and outdoor area, which is separated from the footpath by a hedge. In the interior there are tables for 12 people and in the outdoor area there are usually 2 tables with 4 seats in the summer. In adaptation to the current requirements due to Corona there is also an order window where you can order and pay comfortably from the outside area without having to enter the shop. Service: The team is always very friendly and accommodating. At Firat Döner there are two actions that I particularly like. On the one hand, there is a stamp card where you get a diner free of charge at 10 stamps and on the other hand there are different days of action where the selected dishes are reduced by 1€. Monday is pizza day, Wednesday pasta day, Thursday schnitzeltag and Friday the most important day: the Dönertag, where every Döner is 0.50€ cheaper. Firat Döner has been open until 22:30. The only minus point is, however, that Firat is unfortunately closed on Saturday. So if you want to go to a diner on the weekend you have to look around for an alternative. Price: 4,00€ Conclusion: As you can definitely see from the review, Firat Döner is currently one of my personal favorites in Erfurt. Not only the yogurt sauce is highly recommended, but also the ratio of meat/salate is really good and after a döner you are definitely saturated for the next hours. So, who, in my opinion, wants to eat one of the best diners in Erfurt, only needs to visit Leipziger Platz and Firat Döner."

"Das Restaurant ist ein Besuch wert.Essen ist sehr lecker immer frisch und es wird auch erklärt wie es zu bereitet wird.Der Kellner ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, wenn es mal etwas zu kalt ist da Essen wird es nach höflicher Anfrage noch einmal warm gemacht.Zu einigen Gerichten kann ich die selbst gemachte Knobisauce empfehlen sie passt zwar nicht zu allem Gerichten ich aber kann sie immer essen.Das Resaturant befindet sich in bester Lage an der Langen Brücke, Blick zum Dom, der kleine Breitstrom alles in einem Klasse .Wir essen gerne dort besonders im Herbst ist einfach schön dort."

"Wir waren heute zu zweit im Wollkim. Wir bestellen Bibimbab vegetarisch. Es sah ansprechend aus. Das Essen wurde uns lauwarm bis kalt serviert (der Reis war lauwarm und das Gemüse und Spiegelei waren sehr kalt). Das war ja nicht mal das schlimmste. Reis und Spinat wurden nicht gewürzt. Bei den anderen Zutaten schmeckte man nur schärfe und kein Aroma. Zum würzen stellte man uns eine rote Flasche ohne Aufdruck hin. Darin befand sich eine scharfe Soße. Wir reklamierten das Essen und gaben es zurück. Die Reklamation wurde nicht angenommen. Vom Inhaber des Lokals wurde wir nicht ernst genommen. Er fing mit uns eine Diskussion an. „Es ist ihr Problem, wenn ihnen das Essen nicht schmeckt.“ Ebenso musste das unschmackhafte und lauwarme/ kalte Essen auch bezahlt werden. Ich werde mit Sicherheit nicht mehr dort essen gehen und würde auch jeden weiteren Gast von einem Besuch dieses Lokales abraten. Es gibt andere koreanische Restaurants oder Imbisse, die bei weitem empfehlenswerter sind. Das ist das schlimmste Essen, was wir je gegessen haben und wofür wir bezahlen mussten, obwohl es nicht verzehrt zurückgegeben wurde."

"Ein anständiges Restaurant. Für alle die mal etwas ordentliches, wie bei Muttern zu Hause, essen wollen, sind hier genau richtig. Die Auswahl ist ordentlich und die Portionen sind ebenfalls sehr vernünftig. Eine Reservierung macht Sinn und bei schönem Wetter kann man auch draußen sitzen. Der Service war das insgesamt Beste. Es waren ausreichend Servicekräfte da, es wurde sich regelmäßig erkundigt, ob noch Wünsche offen sind und auch von der Schnelligkeit außergewöhnlich gut. Das Ambiente erinnert ein wenig an die Kneipen von früher, aber nicht angestaubt oder altbacken zu wirken. Ich kann nur empfehlen es selbst mal zu probieren."

"This looked like any other Pizzeria and is well located directly in the Fischmarkt with a view of the Rathaus. However service was slow and poor. I requested ice cubes for my mangosaft they never appeared. My order for a rocket salad with parmesan...turned into a very small green salad. My husband reckoned his pizza was OK. There are far better restaurants in the area, serving good quality food and drink. This is a place to avoid and I rarely say that of anywhere!"
