"Very nice ambience and generally a super cozy yet slightly elevated atmosphere. The service is extremely friendly and always has a loose jump on the lips (which is unfortunately not always the case with restaurants in the price segment). The food was tastefully excellent and also visually absolutely convincing (see pictures). The dishes are colorful, unusual and fresh! The portions match the price so you should add appetizer and dessert to become rich. The only real criticism of us was that there is no only vegetarian soup and generally only three vegetarian dishes. However, it is necessary to say that the card is constantly changing, so that perhaps the point of criticism is not always correct. Included, a restaurant with super food that can justify the price and will offer a nice evening."

"had to bumble with my wife and spontaneously decided to try the load. the employees were not the kindest, although we were with the first customers on a Sunday afternoon. several times I had to ask for infos about the bunny. order was still running smoothly. a view of the open kitchen and budgets did not expect super high quality - the wobbles were already partly distorted. after ordering on the toilet. despite that the load had just opened, the toilet was not clean. raw also used. would have expected more hygiene.It was quite quick to eat. got it. burger was ok. would give a 3 out of 5 stars for this. pommes partly lazy. majo was bad. between times ok but you can't expect super high quality. friendly costs nothing, but makes a load more visitable."

"Nach dem Escaperoom haben wir uns entschieden, diesen Italiener zu besuchen. Wir waren überrascht über die gemütliche Einrichtung und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut. Ich hatte ein Gericht der Tageskarte. Vorweg gibt es Brot, Oliven und Butter. Wir kommen gerne wieder Liebe Grüße an den Chef, er ist total herzlich und hat uns einen schönen Abend beschert."

"I was recommended this place by a local, but was disappointed. The food IS good, but there are many places in Essen selling Italian food that is just as good or better, for a fraction of the price, and with larger portions. The wine is...pricey but very good. A cheaper house wine just isn't available. The waiter was a bit of a jerk as he said 'trust me' on the wine choice, then 'joked' or was it?! that it was only euros a glass. For the rest of the meal I wondered how much it actually was, before getting a more decent euros confirmed on the bill. The decor is more in need of an upgrade than retro, and the service not particularly warm unless you're one of the regulars or large groups spending the real money"

"'il pastaro' is a small - really small - Italian family business. the restaurant has been there for 20 years. it's been to me personally since approx. 14 years known and I always like to go there although I have been living in düsseldorf for a few years. the restaurant may have 6 tables in a cozy, rustic ambiente. the kitchen is open and visible. also the appetizers in a virtine / theke that separates the restaurant from the kitchen. here is all 100% fresh. convinience will be in vain here. the card is not huge, but offers enough choice. Overall, I haven't taken a court to myself, which would have disappointed me. some dishes, on the other hand, I have never eaten better elsewhere. the prizes have raised you in the run of over 10 years only once and are not really high. the restaurant offers good service and the staff is very polite and courteous."

"First I must state that the food at this place is quite extraordinary. I've been there quite often and we never had anything to complain about a meal. On the downside though the service is not very welcoming. The waiters have quite an attitude, almost...never saying please thanks or excuse me And even though the food is superb whenever I am at this place and don't feel comfortable. Would I recommend this place? To be honest: No, I wouldn't."

"dies ist tatsächlich das erste Mal, dass ich ein restaurant bewerte. Warum? Es ist tatsächlich eine Unsitte geworden, dass sich restaurantbesucher im Netz häufig rein mit Kritik äußern. Ich besuche die oase Due nun schon seit über 20 Jahren und bin noch nie enttäuscht worden. Im Gegenteil, was Franco hier jeden Abend mit seinem team aus dieser Miniküche herauszaubert hat Sternequalität. Und auch dies sollte mal gesagt werden. Seine Trüffelnudeln sind ein gedicht, der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Sicher, die Preise sind nicht mit einem normalen Italiener zu vergleichen, dafür ist eben alles auch tagesfrisch und excellent zubereitet. Für mich der beste Italiener im Pott! Thomas Siepmann"

"Ich war heute mit einem Kollegen am Freitag Nachmittag hier. Angenehme Atmosphäre, noch kein voller Laden, angenehm zum quatschen und entspannt essen. Das Essen war super. "Delicious Italian food. The prices are in the middle segment, fair and appropriate for the quality of the food. Stauder on tap and free rolls with spread and limonchello as a nightcap served with the meal. The waitress was very friendly and always there immediately when you were thinking about ordering something. Great, we ate there for the 7th time and everyone was completely satisfied. The atmosphere is ok, could be nicer and more comfortable. Standard seats and no proper separation from the adjacent tables."

"Wir sind zwar in letzter Zeit immer noch oft in der zweibar in Rüttenscheid, aber nur noch wegen des guten Essens. Aber es ist auch gut möglich, dass man das bestellte Essen gar nicht bekommt, trotzdem die Kellner über eine App die Bestellung eingeben. Die Wartezeit auf Kaffee, Getränke, Essen ist nochmal extrem gestiegen und sie war schon sehr hoch. Ich sehe ein, wenn man dauernd wechselndes Personal hat, dass es schwierig ist seinen guten Standard zu halten, doch ausruhen auf der Location, der Lage und naja die Leute kommen doch, sollte man sich nicht. Bin gespannt wie Café Kötter umbaut, ob das hausbackene rausgenommen wird und die Leute dann dorthin umziehen. Einfach nur schade."

"There are not many restaurants, that serve such a delicious food. Porcions are BIG, tofu is perfect, duck is soft and crispy at the same time. "My best friend is Turkish and I really like Turkish cuisine and have eaten here a few times. I was really positively surprised and the food was always very tasty, everything was freshly prepared and always kept nice and warm. In addition, a friendly staff who keep their nerves stable even on stressful days when the store is overcrowded is very admirable. The only disadvantage that annoys me a bit is the rising prices where a small kebab now costs €7 hmm but they can't help that either."

"Wir waren hier an einem Samstag, mit der Familie haben uns die Altstadt in Kettwig etwas angeschaut. Sind dann auf die Stiege Gestoßen, ein Biergarten mit wunderschönem Ausblick. Dann ging es weiter, Gebratene Doraden Filets Bulgursalat Der Fisch knusprig gebraten aber noch glasig mit frischen Kräutern schön Buttrig Der Bulgursalat der absolute Hammer Haben wir sofort der netten Bedienung mitgeteilt. Medaillons Rumpsteak auf Salbeipüree Pfifferlingen Kräuterbutter Das Fleisch perfekt Medium der Geschmack Grandios mit Kräutern durch Butter geschwenkt die Pfifferlinge, Püree , Kräuterbutter ein absoluter Traum !. Leberkäse Bratkartoffeln Krautsalat Sehr lecker die Bratkartoffeln knusprig alles sehr lecker Gnocchi in Gorgonzola Soße Super Grandios Wienerschnitzel, Bratkartoffeln, Pfifferlingsoße Die Schnitzel so wie sie sein müssen knusprig innen saftig die Panade luftig Butter Note so wie die Bratkartoffeln Liebe zum Detail die Speisen sehr schön Angerichtet! Meine Frau, Freunde und ICH waren total begeistert, jeder hat von jeden probiert. Die Frage der Damen stand im Raum, wie man die Bratkartoffeln so Knusprig bekommt. Auf dem Weg zur Toilette die neben der Küche liegt konnten wir den Koch dann selbst fragen, und uns natürlich für das tolle Essen Bedanken. Hat alle Fragen den Damen Beantwortet Sehr sympathisch! Da weiß jemand was er tut, und wie man es perfekt macht. Wir kommen wieder! Vielen Dank"
