"eating is quite good, fresh with really good seasoning and gives them a homelike feeling. this shows the authentic Indian cuisine, although not with much choice. by far the best mango leti we had in eating what is a must when they come here. the service is very good and a very friendly host. try it out if you want a cozy taste and want to spend a nice evening."

"Tolles, überdurchschnittlich gutes Essen! Es gibt zusätzlich zu der a la carte Karte eine wechselnde saisonale Auswahl an Gerichten. Die Küche ist wirklich toll, vor allem liebe ich die Gemüsebeilage! All es wird frisch zubereitet, ist dezent gewürzt und auf den Punkt gegart! Das findet man nur in wirklich guten Restaurants! Entsprechend gut gefüllt ist es dort, besonders am Wochenende. Zwar erklärt das die teilweise sehr langen Wartezeiten (sowohl Service als auch Küche), dennoch ziehe ich dafür einen Stern ab. Beim letzten Besuch haben wir auf das Brot (das es vom Haus als Amuse gibt) locker 45 Minuten gewartet ab dem Zeitpunkt der Bestellung, die Wartezeit bis die Bedienung und die Getränke kamen nicht eingerechnet. Zwei Minuten später kam das Essen. Grundsätzlich finde ich Wartezeiten nicht tragisch Wir kommen selber aus der Gastronomie. Aber: ein kurzer Hinweis bei der Begrüßung ist ein absolutes Muss. Andernfalls sollte zumindest ein Kaffee o.ä. aufs Haus angeboten werden, zumindest meiner Meinung nach. Freundlich ist der Service jedoch immer! Die Preise sind angemessen. Ausnahme: der Aperol Spritz: bei meinem ersten Besuch habe ich mich wirklich erschrocken. Er wurde in einem Sektglas 0,1l serviert, ohne Eis und für über 6 Euro. Dazu muss man sagen, die Füllmenge ist in der Karte angegeben. Ich hatte es nicht gesehen. Das ist so oder so völlig unangemessen. Die Küche ist in jedem Fall einen Besuch wert!"

"had been back to dinner after a long time and had eaten there in the lucente. the small, but fine restaurant on the rüttenscheider road makes me always happy when I eat there.Only the start with the brot, which is sensationally decorated and lauwarm is served, agrees on a great eating.As a start I had chosen an salat from half the lobster. the wonderful aroma of the first-class lobster was fully preserved and complemented by the preparation positiw.As the main course I had ordered a rumpsteak with fresh vegetables. my desire after the "medium-rare" stage was perfectly hit and the taste was really great. each piece of meat had a great taste in itself, but was well complemented by the sauce, which was only created for it. the lucente team is competent and recognizable from convincing friendly.A great restaurant in eating!!!"

"The restaurant serves italian cuisine. The food was very delicious, the decoration somewhat garish. The prices were however very high, we paid more than 90 euros per person, and the quality was good but not something you can not get elsewhere for considerably less money....The service was swift but pushy and arrogant. The patron, when asked if it was possible to have a glass of wine (instead of a bottle), reponded in an contemptuous manner that he does not run a bistro. Afterwards he -sort of- apologised for it, offering the option of getting a glass instead of a bottle. We opted for the bottle version however, and the waiter proceded to open a new bottle of wine (when the first was finished), without asking if we wanted another. All-in-all I can not recommend the establishment."

"a highlight in Essen-Frohnhausen. very good kitchen, not a small load, but a lot of space, many beautiful corners and hidden, very warm decorated. the service is more than flott, very friendly and always attentive (so much attention is unfortunately not found in every local). the prices have risen a little, but they are still somewhat in the frame. the metaxasauce is here a dense. here she is still authentic. really: Respect!In the middle, the gyros is no longer soouo fat. that was also the reason why we visited our visits a bit paused (we used to be regular guests at dimitria). for a time you could not enjoy the gyros here:o( but it has become better. there are also other tasty grill specialties, lamb, etc. - absolutely recommended. the salat is also always very tasty here, but first-class are especially the kartoffel chips - such you can find nowhere else!Top address in eating. in summer also with a beautiful beer garden :d"

"I went with my husband for lunch a Saturday. The local is small and it seemed clean, the people very friendly. We are the Vietnamese spring rolls, they were fresh and very crispy. As main dish my husband had a really big soup and I...had the crispy pork belly. The food was very tasty and everything was fresh, the menu isn’t too big, but has enough variety. We will go back!"

"Typical Yugoslavian cuisine, which has no breakers up, but everything in all was very ok at the birthday party. Waiters try and cute, over small subtleties like warm glasses from the dishwasher, let's see. A single NoGo, when a separate room is ordered for a round birthday and there already torched candles are on the table, you should think about it. "I live here in Essen! I walk by maybe everyday, I never thought to try this place until today! When a friend of me told us about it, and she was very excited about the place. And listen to, SHE WAS RIGHT! It's not a normal café or restaurant, it is a perfect place if you want to study, or just chill meet with friends to catch up and have good time! It is a many floors place with several rooms, where you can play ping pong or some Piano, guitar... etc... Or maybe sit on the roof if you want to smoke. The special about the place ist that you just enter pay 6.90€, then you can stay there and do whatever you want, and you have flatrate for non alcoholic or soft drinks, coffee, tea, cappuccino or even alcohol free beer! Drink whatever you want, do whatever you want, enjoy a free day and spend some quality time with your big group of friends..."

"Im Rahmen von einem Wochenende in Essen und Übernachtung im Welcome Hotel (gesonderte Bewertung) hatten wir ein Abendessen im Sunny Side gebucht. Wir trafen auf sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedingungen die mit dem spärlich besuchten Restaurant keine Mühe hatten. Aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen waren die Erwartungen bei uns recht hoch gesteckt, aber leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Waren die Burger noch ganz Ok waren die Jägerschnitzel nicht wirklich gewürzt und total trocken, wie auch die Beilagen und sehr wenig Soße. Der Beilagrnsalat war bitter und es war kaum Dressing an ihm. Die Größe der Kugel der Eisbecher waren ein kleiner Witz für den Preis und Sahne musste man suchen. Ebenso wie das Hotel selbst bekommt auch das Restaurant von uns leider keine Empfehlung!"

"My best friend is Turkish and I really like Turkish cuisine and have eaten here a few times. I was really positively surprised and the food was always very tasty, everything was freshly prepared and always kept nice and warm. In addition, a friendly staff who keep their nerves stable even on stressful days when the store is overcrowded is very admirable. The only disadvantage that annoys me a bit is the rising prices where a small kebab now costs €7 hmm but they can't help that either."

"hello dear sushi friends, after a long break again a review of me. Today on 18.12.2016 we were at the sushi house against 17 clocks. it is located in a side street, and the cosy amnbiente immediately addressed us. there is approx. 12-15 seats. we have ordered the following: steamed maul bags (mushi kyoza), salmonella and california rolls (each with free miso suppe) and the small portion ramen nudelsuppe. the steamed maul bags were very delicious. thin teig and loose meat filling, the miso suppe was also good. here I was just confused that we didn't get any suppen spoons, but it wasn't disturbing. the sushi was good from quality, but not outstanding. I'm sure you're not doing anything wrong here. compared to other sushi restaurants, I noticed that the lachs nigiri are minimally smaller than I used to it from other restaurants. the ramen nudelsuppe was a fall. here you have apparently processed instant products lovelessly. You shouldn't sell that. shame! if you have the choice to go somewhere else sushi eat, for example sakura in wuppertal, or that hatoky in bochum, you should also make use of the possibility. otherwise my tip: confine yourself to sushi and damped maul pockets."

"Wir waren heute das erste Mal im Historisches Gasthaus . Es war ein rundum gelungener Abend. Das Restaurant wird von einem sehr netten Ehepaar alleine geführt. Sie zaubert in der Küche und er ist für den Service zuständig. Das Ambiente einfach perfekt. Klein, aber direkt zum Wohlfühlen. Die Speisekarte beinhaltet nur ein paar Gerichte. Die zwei, die wir heute probiert haben waren einfach phantastisch. Und das Dessert einfach göttlich. Kompliment an die Chefin! Und er gibt dem Restaurant den einzigartigen Flair. Einzigartig! Ein exzellenter Rum und fruchtiger Likör vom Chef ausgewählt rundeten den Abend ab. Wir empfehlen dieses Restaurant sehr gerne weiter. Einfach mal ausprobieren."

"Das Restaurant "Am Mühlenbach" kann man landläufig unter "Balkan-Restaurant" abheften. Wegen seiner Lage in einem Tal zwischen Holsterhausen und Margarethenhöhe und angesichts der nahe gelegenen Wandermöglichkeiten kann man es auch als Erholungs-Location ansehen. Innen ist das Restaurant mit südländischen Touch gestaltet... -- und das schon seit Jahrzehnten fast unverändert. Für einen ambitionierten Essener gehört dieses Lokal zum Heimat-Inventar. Und wer sich von auswärts da einfindet, wird bestimmt nicht enttäuscht. Die Küche ist verlässlich bieder und wartet stets mit gut zubereiteten und teil zungenbrecherischen Spezialitäten auf. Besonders zu empfehlen ist "Halb und Halb" mit Tschebapptschitschi (das eine "Halb) und Fleisch am Spieß (das andere "Halb"). Vorher warmes Brot mit Kräuterbutter, zum Fleisch reichlich Pommes und nebenher ein frischer und knackiger Salat. Das alles für neun Euro neunzig? - Ja, für EUR 9,90 und keinen Cent mehr. Dazu ein "lecker Bierchen", hinterher ein "lecker Käffchen", und zum Abschluss als Gruß des Hauses das typische Gläschen mit einem harmlosen Balkan-Likör. Nichts Sensationelles und kein Gourmet-Tummelplatz, aber auch nirgends ein Haar in der Suppe. Etwas gegen guten Hunger bei Mordsappetit. Überraschend schmackhaft war die gebratene Forelle mit Butterkartoffeln. Mit dem Drumrum davor und dazu für EUR 12,90 alles andere als teuer. Den geparkten Autos und der Kleidung anderer Gäste nach scheint das Restaurant bei einer soliden Mittelschicht beliebt und also als etwas "Ordentliches" anerkannt zu sein. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht und gut speisen möchte, sollte sich "Am Mühlenbach" einfinden. Ja, und wer es nicht lassen kann, immer und überall online zu sein und im WEB zu stöbern, wird auch nicht enttäuscht. Das Kennwort für WLAN wird gern herausgegeben. Die Verbindung ist auch über die ganze Terrasse hinweg gut."

"Sauberes Lokal und freundliche Bedienung. Beim All you can eat wurden die Speisen nicht zeitnah nachgelegt. Der gebratene Reis befand sich zu lange auf der Warmhalteplatte und wurde zäh bzw. kam dem Rohzustand nahe. Die gebratene Leber war trocken und schmeckte unangenehm. Das Obst war klasse, aber leider zimmerwarm. Die Pilze waren unspektakulär. Das Eis schmeckte fade und schrecklich süß. Einzig das System mit der Getränkeselbstbedienung in Form von großen Kühlschränken mit Panoramascheiben war klasse. Da habe ich schon besser gespeist in Form von all you can eat . Schade. Ich komme nicht mehr extra von über 70 km Entfernung hier her."
