"Hate to be critical, as was warmly welcomed and all were very friendly. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast was average at best, bacon and sausage were not great quality and mushrooms watery. My egg was just a greasy mush which they swiftly replaced when I complained...but it should never have been brought out to me. What really was disappointing was the fact that they had put a cheaper brand of brown sauce in HP bottles. It makes you wonder what other shortcuts are being made and the freshness of their condiments...not good!"

"Had lunch here recently, fantastic food and service. Booked a table in advance and were seated in a nice booth. As we walked past staff they said hello which was a nice touch. We all ordered different food, and it all came together, piping hot, fresh and very tasty, everything ordered was spot on even all the changes additions were correct. Can’t not fault the restaurant, staff or the service. Absolutely on it. Thank you. Loads of free parking right outside (well 4 hours free) easy access for people with mobility issues, and toilets inside. Overall, personally I think there is a good selection of food, my only observation is the cost of the deserts, which put us off. I didn’t see any, so not sure what you get for your money to be fair."

"We visited here specially for their lunchtime deal which is valid up to 5pm. It is really good value for what you get. We had 2 courses which were really tasty and flavourful that cost £12.90. For starters, we had the potato skins which were served with a pot of sour cream which were good and the garlic pizza bread with mozzarella which was really good! The dough was really soft and fluffy. It also had plenty of garlic and mozzarella on top which made for a really delicious starter! I highly recommend that! We then ordered our pizzas for our main. The pepperoni pizza was really moist and had lots of pepperoni. Again, the dough was soft, light, and airy with lots of flavour! The portion sizes are very good, I definitely left full. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The serving team were also friendly and pleasant. I would definitely return again. Tasty food with good portions at good prices!"

"I visited SDM Coffee House for my daughters 6th Birthday Party.The cafe was clean and well organised, the staff friendly and the chocolate tasted delicious.I can honestly say that I couldn't have asked for it to go any better. The staff were patient and kind to the children and were generous with the chocolate.As a true chocolate lover I expected it to be cheap and nasty but it was proper Belgium chocolate and the kids made solid chocolate moulds and lollies. The sandwiches were tasty and they were quite happy to provide another jug of squash when it had run out.The atmosphere was great, they had Frozen playing for the kids...Honestly couldn't have been happier....Thank you all very much indeed."

"Many thanks for providing us with a great evening for our Christmas Party in the Hampshire Room on Saturday evening. The stairs and the room were beautifully decorated for Christmas and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The organisation and the serving went seamlessly. There was a decent gap between courses.The food was truly delicious. Apparently the lamb was superb. My sea bass was really nicely cooked, and the flavours tasty. The gluten free choices were outstanding. That guest was amazed at the extent of choice. All 31 guests were full of compliments, and I didn’t hear anything negative. I considered that the cost of the night were reasonable and good value for money. The house wines were perfectly drinkable. It was helpful that there was flexibility in the choice of colour of wine, so that we were able to swap colours if we wished. You were willing to let my husband play his guitar to the guests and we had a lovely singsong. I hope we didn’t bother the guests downstairs! The disco proved popular at the end. "Made several visits now can’t stop going or singing the praises of this delightful little cafe. Sumptuous cakes , fascinating and tasty food all freshly prepared and cooked to order. Coffees, teas, and cold drinks in abundance. Just perfect for sharing time with friends ....or a well earned ‘pit stop’ for walkers/cyclists to recharge their energy stores!! Sent the husband there for his breakfast yesterday still talking today about how good it was!! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!!"

Today’s meal a delicious chicken, bacon and mayo jacket potato with salad prepared by Dan and washed down with an orange juice and lemonade. A lovely friendly environment. Kelly and Darren run a lovely establishment. If you haven’t yet visited, I’d recommend it."

"Our server was really lovely and was very accommodating to my friend who is currently heavily pregnant. She had a few strange requests which didn't seem to phase her, which was great The food was not great, though. It took a while for all parts of the roast dinners to appear, so by the time we started eating quite a bit of it was cold. Spent a while eating for the vegetables and also the heavy. The lamb was really tasty and tender, but it was luke warm at best which was disappointing."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem. Despite the rain forcing us to sit inside, the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, helping us find a table. The food was delicious; the olives were exceptional and the moussaka was creamy and flavorful. We also got a tasty rocky road cake to go, but I suspect it had peanuts in it. Overall, a successful dining experience and I look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended."

"I have eating here since they opened. All of the staff are very friendly and their attention to detail and cleanliness is excellent. Their burgers are freshly made and are very tasty. The whole breakfast range is very good. I personally like good food and drink and Stones deliver all of the classic British food which is really good. They are humbled by praise and always go above my expectations. The prices are very week placed for the food you get. Burger and chips better than next door, fresh and the same price."

"We have visited Darcys in Porchester many times but I have to say that after todays visit we will not be rushing back … We entered the cafe and asked an employee if they had a table for 4 please.Her reply was *Weve got what you can see* Not quite the way I would have expected to be spoken to ……There were a few vacant seats but not 4 together …We decided we would wait until a table became vacant ,which It did ,after not too much of a wait … We chose our meals ,3 of which were jacket potatoes …*we’ve run out of jacket potatoes *not even a sorry we’ve run out … We settled for 3 lots of sandwiches and 1 Toastie …. I think they forgot about making the toastie as we had all finished our sandwiches before it had arrived and that was after we had to ask when it was coming… To say we were disappointed in our visit today is an understatement….We certainly didn’t have the friendly service that we have had in there previously …."

"I have booked for my sonny birthday cupcakes for the 21st april. ali was by far the most reasonable citation I had, and she was very recommended by some of my friends. I have a very short description of just want rugby style cupcakes and ali did the rest. They were super delicious cakes and the icing was not too much as some cupcakes can be. I would highly recommend alis cake and will definitely come back in the future to the birthday cake. great thanks. my boy loved her."

"I had an excellent lunch at this restaurant. I had mentioned in advance that I preferred a quiet setting as I was dining with a friend who has Asperger's. The staff were very accommodating, seating us in a suitable area and my friend had no issues with the service. Although my friend had dined there before and was familiar with some of the staff, it had been a while since I had joined him. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxed dining experience with excellent food."

"I visit Brown's twice a week, and everyone I've taken there has been just as impressed as I am with the food and service. "I am extremely disappointed with the food and quality of this restaurant. Initially, I requested fish but was told it was sold out, so I settled for portabello mushrooms. However, I was informed that they only had breaded mushrooms, which I declined. I also ordered prawns in garlic and chicken wings. When the chicken wings arrived, they were cold. After sending them back, they were returned very hot, which was satisfactory. The other three meals were decent but not great, and all portions of chips were cold. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I will be sharing my negative experience with friends."

"Easy to find, and park. never had to wait, we were greeted straight away, they had taken our special requests into consideration, and sat us appropriately. The food was delicious, and very well price, considering some of the other harvesters I have been too and the food was so much better too. The staff were very friendly and were very attentive. We never felt rushed at all to leave the restaurant. It was a really pleasant evening meal out. Highly recommend it."

"We decided to try every Chinese restaurant in Gosport in search of our favorite, and we found a clear winner at this one! The food had great flavors, wasn't too salty like some others we've tried, and they offer free delivery and sometimes even free prawn crackers. Highly recommend! Their homemade spring rolls were also delicious."
