"Having read some positive reviews on Kathi’s, we decided to go. Upon arrival we were advised the restaurant was full and the only table available was within a small overflow area. Before taking in the surroundings, we accepted and sat down. We quickly realised the...area we were sat was the entrance to two shops and a bar?!! The shop windows were in need of a wash and the ambience was non existent. I absolutely adore steak and often cook in my own kitchen, I was really keen to try the special Bavarian steak. I’m a little confused as to why you would come to Bavaria and order meat from another country? There was many selections from other countries available. I should note that with a price tag of €39, my expectations were high. My husband ordered the burger. Our food arrived and cutting into my steak, it became obvious the meat was not cooked as ordered, I requested “medium”...the meat had not been rested either meaning the meat juices and blood were on my plate. I requested the waiter return to the kitchen for further cooking. Once my steak arrived back, it was cooked to my preference however still oozing meat juices on the plate. At home, my steak is rested for a minimum of 5 minutes to avoid this. The meat was nice and so too were the accompaniments, my husband reports his burger was tasteless and laden with various sauces, causing it to collapse with moisture. All in all, we would not return. A restaurant focusing on serving steak should have chefs who know how to successfully cook (and rest) this expensive cut of meat."

"Whenever we come after freesing, we try to have a meal in the India Palace. it has always been one of the better representatives of this kitchen. Unfortunately, this visit has disappointed from beginning to end. First there are hardly enough parking places to accommodate 10% of their guests. we parked several roads in a residential area. we had reservations, but we had a choice between two tiny tables, on the one we chose, we were constantly jostled by the passing waiting staff. on the other side there was hardly enough room to either pass the neighboring tables and each of us is considered slender. we chose the course because of its relative private sphere. the menu is filled with the page after the selection page. we ordered different dishes so we could share taste. we chose mild and hot and I even ordered an Indian wee, as I never had one. the order intake and service seemed confused and the service let us cold. the communication was not clear. this is essentially the same personal as previous visits. we have toned a bad day in a good restaurant. then it came to eat. the tears were tiny, but on request more was delivered, but still the vaccinated portions and repeated desires for more. we are not gluttons. we eat in moderation, so if I have to ask for something more and more that is a problem. the Indian wine was comparable to a low-grade European wine from a region that is not known for its wine. I recommend the beer. unfortunately they do not serve any of the various Indian beers from the well-respected Indian breweries. in terms of taste, this was not due to the expectations of the previous visits. I try to be obscure, but the various disappointments in this visit do not help this objectiveness. I still hope that this restaurant will regain its earlier place in my memory. a new facility, with sufficient parking space, a spacious dining area, a more efficient staff with a more friendly setting would all help. we will give the indien palace another attempt before we knock it off from our list of freesing chars."
