"Visit from 02.11.2013 The “China Restaurant Phönix” is a typical place with the appropriate, sometimes kitschigen accessories. The delicious food is individually flavored and is characterized by the mass of Chinese restaurants. However, the price-performance ratio is remarkable, actually incredible. If you like the Chinese flair, this place is recommended. The “China Restaurant Phönix” is located in the old town of Füssen and is easily accessible on foot from the parking lot near the Sparkasse (about 5 minutes). The restaurant has no own parking and can only be easily reached by car, and there are no stairs in the restaurant either on the toilets. To the ambience, now, China! Colorful, plump, detailed and playful. In the front area there are some tables on the windows, then closes a narrower hose to the back, where there are also tables, along with the counter for the daily buffet (Monday to Saturday per lunch and evening and laterally the toilets. We ordered two different crispy ducks at 12,50 € each, a phoenix plate approx. 11 € and once beef with onions at 10.80 €. As starters we had a Beijing soup at €2.70 and spring rolls (5 small with salad and final tip at €2.50. Certainly, it also works here with the usual providers of Chinese gastronomy, but it is also possible to recognize the efforts of the kitchen that they are willing to withdraw from the great of their colleagues with a personal note. A duck was, for example, with a separate sauce, which was seasoned interestingly with cinnamon. Both ducks with really pink skin and juicy meat. Koriander also works (for some it tastes like “Spüli”. Therefore, there is nothing to complain about the quality of food, the orientation is the usual standard, the portions are really sufficient. As aperitif we were offered “in the house” of the usual plum brand. I still cheat like this place for years in the cost. The beers come from the warehouse brewery in Kaufbeuren and are offered with €2.60 for wheat."
