"We know Alatsee as a walking destination and decided this year to stay at the hotel by the lake as a centre for more walking and perhaps some nature. Booking was through Booking.com and straightforward. We decided on a minisuite for extra room and comfort...should the weather not cooperate. but it did so that was even nicer. The Suite consisted of a sitting room/lounge attached to a bedroom area and bathroom. All was very comfortable and agreeable. Sadly the room was at the back so there was neither much of a view and indeed no balcony for sitting out. I found that rather surprising and wonder if we had an inferior' room. But the place was pleasant enough, the welcome warm and the services all worked. It was nice to be able to take walks straight from the Hotel instead of driving anywhere and after the day visits had ended we had the lake area almost to ourselves. Breakfasts was the usual germanic buffet of cereals, cold meats and cheeses with juice and yoghurt. The service was excellent and indeed the staff actually prepared soft boiled eggs to order and timed to perfection which made a welcome change to the usual hard boiled offerings usually available. A real find for the british palette. What we found most odd was that despite being an excellent restaurant last orders for dinner was as early as 17.00. We are not habitual late diners but felt this was rather strange particularly as we were resident in the place. The place seemed to close up around 18.00 as staff left for home so I don't even know if the bar remained open later. As we had a mini apartment /suite we could of course have our own post prandial drinks in the evening but wonder how guests in smaller rooms fared."

Had a very nice dinner in a comfy Stube Surrounding and the lake are very romantic and perfect for hiking.

This restaurant is located at a peaceful piece of earth the Alatsee. Nice, relaxing place with a good kitchen, nice service and friendly staff. I can imagine to stay there for a weekend to refresh the mind.

we sat here for a drink and lunch. we were brought menus, but the waiter and waiter (5 of them) did not come back to take our orders. we waived their attention in a series of locations. after 25 minutes. ignorant, we rose and went.

Our host told us about this lake and it was perfect after our long drive to Fussen. We took a lovely walk around and then had dinner outside at the restaurant. The food was very delicious and tasty. We were very happy with our experience. Visualizza piatti

What a lovely hidden gem. We had dinner here twice while touring Bavaria. It is off the beaten path you may think you are lost, but keep driving and you'll come upon this lovely restaurant. The road is single lane and goes through woods...and opens to a small lake that the restaurant overlooks.

My wife and I, as part of a 17 strong walking group, stopped for lunch twice at the Alatsee restaurant during our I week visit to Fussen. Everyone in the group said that they greatly enjoyed the excellent service and delicious food. In particular two...of the soups on offer, the potato and the pumpkin were rated the best soups ever tasted absolutely delicious! A very nice atmospheric Bavarian restaurant.

april 2018 was the second time we visited. at both locations (the first was 2015), we made the walk of feet and ate there. in both places, eating was just what they wish to be among such things – big, local aromen; excellent core...produce, well boiled. (three years ago it was the first place I ever had in late zle. it's still good. the good beer is also good, the food supplement. and it has one of the Bavarian alpen views that, if I ever risk that I have to remember how miraculous they are. this hotel, this restaurant has an excellent location, and if you can eat (like weather) on the terrace, and at the right tables, you can enjoy the view of the lake. yes, please! the indoor restaurant is attractive, comfortable and has part banquet seating, my favorite. make them. Sure that they follow on the road to the hotel, there are some parking, maybe not enough in the high season. the chef (new owner is qualified and engaged, the menu includes most budgets, the choices mainly German (that is why they are here) and especially original, plus there are daily / two daily specialties, asking them for the trips. puddings are available, or moevenpick ice cream creations can (definitely.) the...

please avoid this restaurant if you want to enjoy the beautiful landscape. because the service will ruin everything. on a hot day at the weekend we went to the lake, had a bath and wanted to drink something cool and eat light before we were going back to feet. to the happiness we have a table on the packed terrace. but something seemed wrong. all around us waited for the service. the day we thought. but only after some of the other guests have asked for the service, we have heard of a breakdown of their electronic cash system. that can happen, but there are much better ways to deal with it. so the minutes went by and dozens of guests came to us and went back without seeing the service. there...
