"It was the most cost-effective meal during my trip to Austria. They don't provide seat guidance, so you can sit at any empty seat. When you see other customers, it seems like they order and sit down ㅡ I think they understood that I was a tourist, so I was thankful they brought the menu to my seat! The kebab is really delicious, but the meat can be a bit salty haha. However, eating it with cola is the perfect combination. "Sehr zentral gelegen, mit Blick auf den Schlossberg und gleich neben der Mur und der Aconci Insel bietet dieses Lokal exquisite Spezialitäten rund um Fisch und Fleisch. Bereits der Gruss aus der Küche lässt einem das Wasser im Mund zusammenlaufen. Ich hatte Ceviche vom King Fish, und Octopus. Das Ceviche ist ein wahrer Gaumentraum, mit einer wundervollen Marinade. Der Octopus zergeht auf der Zunge und wird mit schmackhaften Cous cous serviert. Meine Frau hatte einen traumhaft zubereiteten Stör. Die Nachspeisen punkten mit karibischen Flair. Sehr freundlicher Service, die Preise sind im gehobenen Segment, aber sind in Anbetracht der Qualität angemessen."

"Eher unscheinbares Restaurant, dass ich nie am Schirm hatte, auch wenn ich oft daran vorbei gefahren bin. War eine Empfehlung eines Arbeitskollegen. Was kann man empfehlen? Auf jeden Fall das Mittagsmenü! Kein Menü im ursprünglichen Sinne, sondern man hat das Gefühl ein edles Dinner einzunehmen. Alles liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt, sowie auch sehr ausgefallen. Preislich auch vollkommen in Ordnung. Ab ca. 10 Uhr kann man auf Facebook das Menü einsehen. Sauberkeit und Personal ist auch alles top. Wir sind auf jeden Fall begeistert und kommen bestimmt wieder vielleicht schon nächsten Freitag. Habe den Hausburger mit Pommes bestellt und Spagehtti Carbonara. wie am Bild sichtbar, sieht es schon nicht so appetitlich aus.. später dann festgestellt dass es genau so schmeckt, wie es aussieht leider : Habe extra dazugesagt mit Salat und Tomaten. Tomaten waren garkeine drinnen, Salat ein kleines Stückchen, das wurde unter dem fleisch reingelegt so dass der Salt gatschig und warm wurde. Pommes werden in alten Öl gemacht, schmeckt daher auch furchtbar leider: Spagehtti Carbonara schmecken auch nach wirklich nichts.Preisleistungsverhältnis passt auch nicht. 25€ für sowas: Werde dort nicht mehr bestellen und empfehle es auch niemanden dort zu essen! "Ich war das erste mal in diesem Restaurant und es hat einfach alles gepasst. Von Außen ist es leider etwas unscheinbar. Es befindet sich im Keller eines Gebäudes am Hauptplatz und das Ambiente ist einfach super. Die Spaghetti waren super, für meinen Geschmack etwas zu viel Pfeffer aber ansonsten wirklich gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich."

"in the city we decided spontaneously to visit the el gaucho. supposedly it is recommended to eat. because we didn't have a reservation, we thought that probably nothing would be free. when the young waitress offered us a table with a very rude undertone, which was positioned directly at the entrance of the gast garden, next to the barrier, we decided to have another restaurant.A courtier walk with the guests (reserved or not reserved) would be desirable. for a restaurant in this price class, the positioning of individual tables seems questionable. "Wir aßen schon zweimal hier weil es uns sehr geschmeckt hat. Das Restaurant ist eher altmodisch und alt eingerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich. Wir bestellten einen Apfelsaft, einen Aperol Spritz und eine Fanta. Die Getränke haben alle gepasst. Zum Essen haben wir uns das Erste Mal die Marathon Platte für 2 Personen bestellt. Sie war auf jeden Fall sehr lecker. Sehr empfehlenswert. Beim Zweiten Mal bestellten wir uns Pikilia, Spanakotiropita, Fassolada und wieder den Marathon Teller. Alle Gerichte wurden mit Liebe gekocht und schmeckten sehr gut."

"many know the cornati of then - I don't, but only since the re-acquisition. thanks to instagram, I became aware of the super nice local. I have reserved a table for my birthday - I really loved everything. the gas garden is super idyllic, modern and mega cozy furnished. also inside it is very nicely executed. as I find many small details that create a super atmosphere and the most important - eating was really excellent. At first I had a little thought about whether the portions were rich - but yes, it was more than enough;) we had as an appetizer mosquitoes in a Croatian stew, after which the grilled calamari and thunfischsteaks - really all excellent. also the greeting from the kitchen was very delicious. as a dessert there was still the warm chocolate - my recommendation not to share it, as it is suuuper delicious. the prices are, as I find, appropriate for eating and offering. I have to say that the service was also very nice, because on my table were even wished to reorder 2 times, as 2 well known have changed;) that was all no problem and was very friendly received. as I live in, I am a bit pampered with what the restaurant selection or the offer concerns, but with that we have really found a nice place in graz, where you can spend a great, lasy evening with excellent eating. ;) but if something so enthusiastic about me, it deserves a great evaluation."

"I visited the restaurant while on our honeymoon tour of Austria last December. El Gaucho was the highlight of our dining experiences in Graz. We like eating at the bar but unfortunately, the restaurant offers only table service. And this is just not what you do in Austria....There are, however, a few tall tables near the entrance with our names on them. The staff was very accommodating and helped us settle into our fantastic tables ideal for people watching. We came early on this frigid evening in late December and the restaurant quickly filled up. The wine list was promptly presented and a short presentation about the steaks and the cuts followed. We selected a Malbec from the list; it was fantastic! A bread basket followed shortly after that, along with really great olive oil and sea salts. My wife chose a pincho and I went the safe route and selected a sirloin cut. The meat was expertly prepared and cooked to perfection. The key to El Gaucho is the quality of the meat served here. It's extremely fresh and of very high quality. The cuts can be chosen in three different weights (in grams), all of which are appropriately sized. I hate huge chunks of meat; I prefer it in small quantities but of superior quality and that's precisely what El Gaucho presents. The dessert selections were fantastic as well. They are not an afterthought here. At this point I can't remember what we selected but I remember it was really tasty. There was chocolate involved. As busy as the restaurant was, the service was solid. The staff is efficient; the waiters can be stern but in a good way. Let them steer you in the right direction. A fantastic experience!"

"Trotz keiner Reservierung wurde für uns ein Platz gefunden. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Auswahl der Gerichte war auch in Ordnung. Das Personal bzw. die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Inneneinrichtung ist schlicht und zeitlos gehalten. Es gibt auch Plätze draußen, jedoch sind diese etwas begrenzter. Toiletten waren an und für sich sauber, der ausgehängt Toilettenplan mit den 1-wöchigen Putzintervallen war trotzdem eher bedenklich für so ein gut besuchte Restaurant."

"Delicious steaks and sides, in a classic Austrian atmosphere. The table settings, like the wait staff 's movements with the presentation of steaks, are very precise and professional and polished. They also have fish, salads, and some other choices for non-steak lovers, but I never tried them; this is primarily a steakhouse. The staff speak excellent English and are all very friendly. The hidden gem is that the owners (Marco and Sophie) are both professionally trained breakdancers. If you ask nicely, and they are not too busy, they will put on a tableside show for you. Marco can do the robot while their dog Kurby does backflips and howls."

"For me, Koshari can't keep up with the original in Egypt. Which it doesn't have to be, but for me the sauce wasn't intense enough and was unfortunately very boring. I think the freshly roasted onions and the good sauces make a good koshari. That's what I totally missed with this Koshari. The onions had little flavor and were very limp. For me there was no difference to ready-made fried onions from the supermarket. On top of that, the lady behind the counter was so unfriendly. She didn't greet properly, didn't offer any help, This made you feel unwelcome and there was no feel-good atmosphere in the store. We just wanted to get out quickly. We paid around €6.30 for the small bowl, which is totally ok in terms of price."
