"It was the most cost-effective meal during my trip to Austria. They don't provide seat guidance, so you can sit at any empty seat. When you see other customers, it seems like they order and sit down ㅡ I think they understood that I was a tourist, so I was thankful they brought the menu to my seat! The kebab is really delicious, but the meat can be a bit salty haha. However, eating it with cola is the perfect combination. Der absolute Hammer ist aber die teilweise kreative Neuinterpretation und Innovation mancher Gerichte. Was ich meine? Zb das Beef Tatar, das mit einer Glashaube voller Birkenrauch serviert wird, oder die Hausplatte mit Fleisch, das perfekt auf den Punkt gebraten ist und zusätzlich mit panierten Paprika Stücken serviert wird. Man merkt, dass sich der Koch (oder GF? hier wirklich Gedanken macht. Preislich sind die Gerichte dem Erlebnis voll angemessen aber nicht übertrieben teuer. Habe den Hausburger mit Pommes bestellt und Spagehtti Carbonara. wie am Bild sichtbar, sieht es schon nicht so appetitlich aus.. später dann festgestellt dass es genau so schmeckt, wie es aussieht leider : Habe extra dazugesagt mit Salat und Tomaten. Tomaten waren garkeine drinnen, Salat ein kleines Stückchen, das wurde unter dem fleisch reingelegt so dass der Salt gatschig und warm wurde. Pommes werden in alten Öl gemacht, schmeckt daher auch furchtbar leider: Spagehtti Carbonara schmecken auch nach wirklich nichts.Preisleistungsverhältnis passt auch nicht. 25€ für sowas: Werde dort nicht mehr bestellen und empfehle es auch niemanden dort zu essen! "Wir bestellen sehr oft bei King und es ist immer top (freundlich, schnelle Lieferung, Sonderwünsche werden berücksichtigt und das Essen ob Kebap, Schnitzel, Salat, Pizza ... sie haben wirklich große Auswahl ist frisch, warm und hervorragend abgeschmeckt). Absolut PREISWERT und EMPFEHLENSWERT! Das Lokal selbst ist klein und eher Küche als Speiselokal, aber es gibt im Sommer den Gastgarten (haben wir noch nicht besucht). "Eravamo con la famiglia per un fine settimana in questa bella e vivace città. La ragazza della Reception ad una nostra precisa richiesta di "dove" poter andare a mangiare bene, ci ha giustamente consigliato questo locale non appariscente a prima vista, proprio dietro la piazza del palazzo del Rathaus (Municipio).Piena zona pedonale, si vede il simbolo del locale (un bovino) sule grandi finestre che danno sulla strada. Abbiamo saputo che è sempre pieno, NON avevamo prenotato ma se riusciamo a mangiare in un'ora e mezza un posto per tre si trova, ci speiga la giovane Maitre nel cortile interno.Siamo turisti in mezzo a gente della città, altri turisti asiatici, europei ed americani e notiamo la multietnicità del personale che lavora e gira senza sosta tra i tanti tavoli, di cui il più anziano avrà avuto 25/30 anni al massimo.Tutti molto gentili, ci servono il Menù in Inglese e Tedesco (non conosciamo la lingua locale) mentre altri Menù in altre lingue non sono disponibili.Facciamo una scelta tra carne di maiale, di pollo e di bovino e come stuzzichino per l'attesa arriva un filetto di vitello che si scioglieva in bocca con vicino crostini, burro e salse varie con anche spezie di ogni profumo come nel nostro italico Sud.Non facciamo in tempo a gustarlo che da lì a poco (10min) arrivano i piatti, ben conditi ed invitanti tutti con ottima carne ed anche abbondanti. Anche ottima scelta di birre locali rigorosamente alla spina, oppure in bottiglia.Prendiamo anche un dolce a test, anche questi tutti squisiti e di ottima presentazione.Nei tempi previsti ci alziamo con un costo corretto per la qualità assaggiata, quantità giusta, non da tre stelle Michelin, ma ambiente tranquillo e di classe.Volendo c'è anche una bella sala interna molto interessante che visiteremo la prossima volta. Tutti soddisfatti, abbiamo saputo che il ristorante finisce di cucinare alla mezzanotte, ma il locale rimane aperto come Bar almeno fino alle 3.00 nei mesi estivi. I contorni sono compresi nel piatto, almeno i nostri, ma è un locale principalmente per "carnivori". Buon appetito."

"Wir aßen schon zweimal hier weil es uns sehr geschmeckt hat. Das Restaurant ist eher altmodisch und alt eingerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich. Wir bestellten einen Apfelsaft, einen Aperol Spritz und eine Fanta. Die Getränke haben alle gepasst. Zum Essen haben wir uns das Erste Mal die Marathon Platte für 2 Personen bestellt. Sie war auf jeden Fall sehr lecker. Sehr empfehlenswert. Beim Zweiten Mal bestellten wir uns Pikilia, Spanakotiropita, Fassolada und wieder den Marathon Teller. Alle Gerichte wurden mit Liebe gekocht und schmeckten sehr gut."

"many know the cornati of then - I don't, but only since the re-acquisition. thanks to instagram, I became aware of the super nice local. I have reserved a table for my birthday - I really loved everything. the gas garden is super idyllic, modern and mega cozy furnished. also inside it is very nicely executed. as I find many small details that create a super atmosphere and the most important - eating was really excellent. At first I had a little thought about whether the portions were rich - but yes, it was more than enough;) we had as an appetizer mosquitoes in a Croatian stew, after which the grilled calamari and thunfischsteaks - really all excellent. also the greeting from the kitchen was very delicious. as a dessert there was still the warm chocolate - my recommendation not to share it, as it is suuuper delicious. the prices are, as I find, appropriate for eating and offering. I have to say that the service was also very nice, because on my table were even wished to reorder 2 times, as 2 well known have changed;) that was all no problem and was very friendly received. as I live in, I am a bit pampered with what the restaurant selection or the offer concerns, but with that we have really found a nice place in graz, where you can spend a great, lasy evening with excellent eating. ;) but if something so enthusiastic about me, it deserves a great evaluation."

"I visited the restaurant while on our honeymoon tour of Austria last December. El Gaucho was the highlight of our dining experiences in Graz. We like eating at the bar but unfortunately, the restaurant offers only table service. And this is just not what you do in Austria....There are, however, a few tall tables near the entrance with our names on them. The staff was very accommodating and helped us settle into our fantastic tables ideal for people watching. We came early on this frigid evening in late December and the restaurant quickly filled up. The wine list was promptly presented and a short presentation about the steaks and the cuts followed. We selected a Malbec from the list; it was fantastic! A bread basket followed shortly after that, along with really great olive oil and sea salts. My wife chose a pincho and I went the safe route and selected a sirloin cut. The meat was expertly prepared and cooked to perfection. The key to El Gaucho is the quality of the meat served here. It's extremely fresh and of very high quality. The cuts can be chosen in three different weights (in grams), all of which are appropriately sized. I hate huge chunks of meat; I prefer it in small quantities but of superior quality and that's precisely what El Gaucho presents. The dessert selections were fantastic as well. They are not an afterthought here. At this point I can't remember what we selected but I remember it was really tasty. There was chocolate involved. As busy as the restaurant was, the service was solid. The staff is efficient; the waiters can be stern but in a good way. Let them steer you in the right direction. A fantastic experience!"

"Whilst sometimes it can be daunting for a solo traveller the atmosphere at this very romantic restaurant was just lovely. The cuisine (I had a seafood linguine with side salad) was delicious. The house wine slipped down a treat and I soon forgot about all...the couples around me. Go armed with basic German or Google translate and you’ll be fine reading these Italian classics from the menu. Well priced and not slouchy on the timings. I will definitely visit again! "For me, Koshari can't keep up with the original in Egypt. Which it doesn't have to be, but for me the sauce wasn't intense enough and was unfortunately very boring. I think the freshly roasted onions and the good sauces make a good koshari. That's what I totally missed with this Koshari. The onions had little flavor and were very limp. For me there was no difference to ready-made fried onions from the supermarket. On top of that, the lady behind the counter was so unfriendly. She didn't greet properly, didn't offer any help, This made you feel unwelcome and there was no feel-good atmosphere in the store. We just wanted to get out quickly. We paid around €6.30 for the small bowl, which is totally ok in terms of price."
