"We had made a reservation for a table for 6 people for Sunday Lunch. Upon arrival, the bar had a nice atmosphere and was busy. However, we were then seated at our table away from the bar in a room that felt damp and extremely cold, with no heating. After ordering our drinks, we asked to be moved to another table as we were considering leaving. The staff accommodated our request and moved us to another part of the pub, but it was still not warm enough. They put on an electric fire, which helped slightly. We ordered the Sunday Lunch, which was well-presented. The brisket beef was delicious, but the vegetables were overcooked. Unfortunately, there were no starters on the menu, which was disappointing. Overall, it was not a good experience and we do not plan on returning. It is a shame because the staff were very nice and tried their best to make us comfortable."
