"From my experience of the past, I should have actually given 5 stars. I would like to explain why I am withdrawing from this, on the basis of a concrete example from a recent time. In August 2020, I was a guest in Opatija for the repeated time, as the local has been developing a corresponding name for many years due to its good quality. Unfortunately, this evening we had to find out that the hosting was only taken over by two waitresses, one of whom seemed unfamiliar and unmotivated, the head of the house, who is always accommodating and approaching his guests, was unfortunately not present this evening. Although the restaurant was relatively empty, it took uninhabited long before we got our drinks. Empty glasses were removed without asking for a new order, both from the operator's point of view and the guest a no-go. At some point, the empty glasses stood on the table for half an hour. We also had to wait for food for over an hour, but the good fairness is said that the quality of food was impeccable and tasted it all. The Opatija continues to have great potential, but runs the risk of selling under its value through bad organization. From the acquaintance, I have recently heard multiple events of this kind. Shame, shouldn't happen!"
