"Got stuck at the airport overnight on our way back to the States. We were put up close at a hotel so we searched for local pubs. The White Horse had good reviews. Watch your head! You walk down a couple of stairs and need to duck to get into the pub. It was great! Great service, friendly patrons, quaint and it had plenty of locals to talk to. I give the food a 5, because we went there for the ambience and drinks. Not for the food. The good food was a bonus. If we had gone out for food, I would rate it a 4. We had the dirty chips, beef stew, lasagna Verdi and spicy squid. The chips could have been covered more with the toppings. The spicy fried squid was good. The lasagna could have used more seasonings. The beef stew was perfect. So, no complaints. If you choose to smoke, there's an outdoor area that is covered where you can eat, drink and enjoy your tobacco. The bathrooms were extremely clean. You can tell that the whole crew at this place cares about customer satisfaction. And they will do their best to take care of you. Great experience!"

"I would like to highlight the exceptional service provided by a staff member at the airport restaurant. Her name is Flora and she was wearing a pink t-shirt with the Heathrow logo. As I was enjoying my dinner, I noticed a family of three struggling to fit at a small table meant for two. I offered to swap tables with them and, in the process, accidentally dropped my soup spoon. Thinking that Flora worked for the restaurant, I asked her for help in retrieving a new spoon as I couldn't leave my table unattended. She kindly obliged, despite not actually being an employee of the restaurant. She returned with the spoon and reassured me that it was no trouble at all. To my surprise, she also brought me a small muffin, explaining that she had taken an extra one for me. This act of kindness truly exemplified genuine hospitality. Thank you, Flora, for making the beginning of my long journey unforgettable."

"Visited hoping to get some Thai food but after seeing so many things on the menu and nobody eating we decided to pass and dine back at the Radisson. Only 3 wines of unknown grape varieties were available. Drinks were cheap which was good and the girl at the counter was initially pleasant but when we left she was smoking outside and shouted “have you paid your bill?” How rude to assume that we were walking out! COVID protocols in place so it’s a safe place to visit if looking for a cheap drink."

"Whilst the pub food and general ambience of the restaurant was very good and a beer garden with a view to rival the best in the land , the service speed was extremely slow considering the amount of staff they have working. One glance on trip advisor and you can see this place is living off it's reputation of 5 years ago. It's certainly a shadow of it's former self since I visited 6 years ago. Some of the staff were just chatting and laughing at the bar whilst we were waiting 20 minutes for drinks in the restaurant area next to the bar so I just ended up going to the bar and ordering myself because it was quicker. The waiters were extremely friendly so it may be that they are poorly organised that is the issue or maybe just lazy and whoever is managing them is just not picking them up on it. It's a shame that the chef's good food and the kitchen is let down by seemingly badly managed staff because they all seem competent and friendly. All our food was served at different times with my son waiting in between which meant our friends started their meal first which, again, I think is poor for the relatively higher than usual price you are paying."

"Went for unannounced meal for 2 Wed 30 Dec. Arrived 6.20 and were seated nicely. Two couples were already being served at two different tables. A waiteress took our drinks order, a glass house red and a small bottle of cobra. A waiter brought these quite quickly. Later another waiter took our starter order. We were asked if we wanted poppadoms. We said we would like to order the tandoori mixed grill. The menu stated it came with one plain naan, so we looked forward to that as we like some naan bread with starters. The mixed grill arrived in good time sizzling on a bed of onions. A little too well heated hot plate as most of the onions had got burnt. However the waiter asked if we would like the naan now or with the main course. This was wrong as we now had to wait a further 4 minutes before the naan arrived when it clearly stated the naan is part of the mixed grill. The mixed grill was a bit of poor show, one sheek kebab with little flavour, one piece of lamb tikka, 2 pieces chicken tikka, one full side of marinated chicken breast. Overall it was just okay. We shared the starter. We had to obtain a waiters attention after we had finished the starter to order the main course, a karhi bhindi and a karhi chicken (with peppers and onions and tomatoes) and 2 garlic naans. We also clearly asked for two glasses of tap water no ice in both. The food arrived in good time. No water though. So we asked again. One glass of water with ice was brought. We corrected the waitress and she brought 2 glasses of water with no ice. The karhi bindi was excellent and full of flavour. The karhi chicken was just sauce, chuncks of onions and even chunkier chicken pieces, which could have been cut into smaller piecea and there was no sign of tomatoes or peppers (I presume these must have been blended intonthe sauce. Taste was good, and the food was served hot. Spice was just right for what we ordered. Another glass of wine was ordered and arrived. The bill was good, with an (discretional 10% already applied).we settled with £50. We were offered complimentary baileys, and had a chat with the manager on duty. Overall some improvements could make this a desirable restaurant."

"Having been coming to The Plough over a 30 year period when visiting London, it is such a real shame to see what 's happened to it. Once it was an English country pub with great food and service and well worth adding an extra night at Heathrow just to go there for dinner. Coming to London once again, we booked a hotel nearby and made a dinner reservation at The Plough for 7pm. Pulling up out the front, the first thing we saw was a large sign saying TANDOORI CAFE across the top of what used to be an outside food service area. On going inside, we realised we need not have bothered to make a reservation. We were seated and given the menus along with TANDOORI MENU. Our usual starter was the breaded mushmoom caps which used to be great followed by the grilled Scottish salmon fillet. We ordered the same items and it was all down hill from there. Asking for a wine list, the young waitress replied We don 't have one because the prices change all the time. REALLY ?! So , taking pot luck and with no idea of price, we ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio. It was not Italian and very ordinary for 16 pounds. The starters came out and instead of whole mushroom caps , they were chopped up small field mushrooms. The salmon then came out and it was overcooked and had obviously been in a microwave. It seems The Plough is no longer what it used to be and for some unknown reason, whoever owns it now is trying to turn it into an Indian Tandoori Restaurant !!! It 's a real shame that this has happened and after so many really nice dinners there, we will not be going back."

"Firstly, please let me congratulate the staff on their attentiveness and professional approach. The two ladies serving us were friendly and very competent. Unfortunately, the restaurant lacks any sort of ambiance. We were a couple and there was one other table occupied with a seating of 4. We were sat in what is quite a large dining area that is completely soulless, with no music and minimal decor. Just not a very nice place to eat. We ordered poppadoms which were covered in onions and herbs which were spicy and very good indeed. Ordering a bottled beer, I asked if it would be cold and was told it would be. Having had many issues with restaurants serving tepid beer in the past, I realised that there was draught available and opted for that. Low and behold, IT WAS WARM! UGH! My partner had a cold main which was great, and I had a curry which was supposed to be spicy but alas it wasn 't, with the cubed chicken having the texture of having been frozen. Although not a great first visit, because of the staff I will definitely give it at least one more visit and hope to be able to give it a much nicer review."

"My partner and I were looking for a place to eat near our hotel, The Premier Inn LHR Terminal 5, on a Saturday night. We were thrilled to find the Five Bells just a 15-minute walk away. This hidden gem was exactly what we were looking for: charming, cozy, affordable, and with delicious food and exceptional service. The staff were welcoming and friendly when we arrived. Although the beer garden outside looked lovely, we decided to dine indoors due to people smoking outside. The dining room provided the quintessential English pub experience we were after. I ordered a pie with the option of chips or mash, but it arrived with mash instead of chips. I mentioned this to our waitress Abi, who was very apologetic and helpful. She quickly rectified the situation with the chef Steve and another staff member Lee, who arranged for a side of chips to be made for me. The staff's kindness and efficiency were impressive. My partner enjoyed the fish and chips, and both of our meals were delicious and reasonably priced. We left with a positive impression of the town and its people, grateful to have discovered The Five Bells. If we lived nearby, we would certainly make it a regular dining spot. Many thanks to Abi, Lee, and Steve for their outstanding service and for making our pub experience so memorable."

"So, after 4 years I have decided to change my mind regarding this restaurant. It used to be my favourite Thai restaurant in the area but the food quality has deteriorated massively. I asked for some fresh chillies because the dish I ordered was missing it even though the menu stated it was spicy. I was shocked to discover they charged me 50p for the chilli as a Sauce ! "I've lived locally my whole life and have heard of Sahibs from friends a number of times. To start off as we walked in it looked a dindgy pub rather than an Indian restaurant (nothing like the pictures). they didn't have our name listed even...though we had email confirmation of our booking. After standing for 10 mins by the door with my pregnant wife we were eventually seated. Drinks and food came out very quickly buy the food was really poor and rushed out. My 73 year old father in law told one of the waiters that the mogo was a bit bitter and undercooked and overly sweet and he just waved his hands in the air like he wasn't interested and rudely walked away so we asked for the manager from another waiter and 20 mins later the manager still had not arrived. The manager eventually walked past and I called him over and he said no one had passed the message on. We asked to the mogo to be taken off the bill as we hadn't eaten it and when the bill arrived it was still there with an extra service charge. The food was terrible, service was non existant and when we left and told the I spoke to a waiter who serverd us (on your way out) that we did not have a good experience and he looked at me blankly like he didn't care what I was saying. Possibly it was because the were understaffed but still no excuse really. Definitely not for me!"

"I was in this restaurant period before and enjoyed eating, but it seems that they have hired new workers and I did not recognize the administration, so it may have changed. after I called them earlier on the day, I found that they did not take reservations, but we decided to visit anyway (big drinks) .... wait time was about < br/> initially noticed that I had been saniting. most of the things we wanted to eat on the menu were not available, which disappointing arrive after min drinks and starter. I reminded the waiter of the remaining appetizers and drinks over time. another minute pass and our net comes (before starters) the missing drinks also arrive. at this point I ask the waiter to take the main thing back as I would like to eat my appetizer first. the waiter insisted that we have the main thing, and the precursors will soon follow. after about minutes of debate I would like to eat only after hours of the entire waiting period, so I gave and accepted the net before the starter!! the starter never arrived and I finally gave the hope that they arrive so that I had my cold netzen and decided to cancel the rest of the order. there was no communication between the person lade (the owner) and the waiter, since she tried to load me on the full order, not taking into consideration all that she did not serve, also she tried to calculate on drinks, if we only br/> after an emergency team meeting in the corner with her waiter team she decided to calculate me exact but not excuse me it seems that they simply cannot deal with the flow of guests. I am not sure how many regular they get rid of due to their falling standards and I have seen many bad reviews when I scroll through some of the review sites. also I wonder what happens after eating out schema ends and restaurants need to be based on taste and service?!"

"We sat out in the back garden. The food was excellent, couldn't fault it. Chicken Tikka Masala and chicken supreme both lovely, chips were really crunchy, but soft inside. The garden could really do with a serious clean up bits of rubbish stuck in the tables and fag ends around that need clearing. The tables could do with a lick of varnish. However, new manager takes over soon and maybe things will be different. Good luck to Danny and thanks to John, who will still be around, I'm sure."

"We had the (dis)pleasure of buying 6 dosas with sambhar yesterday as a takeaway. The sambhar was probably the worst sambhar we've ever had. It was diluted with water to increase the quantity that if they added a little more water in it, then it would turn back into in to water albeit, a yellow coloured water. I mean, if we wanted a diluted sambhar we could just add the water ourselves or have asked for a free jug of tap water. It had big chunks of tomatoes and no vegetables at all. The onions were cut in big chunks too. The coriander was just chucked in without cutting, someone who was so angry with their job just tore the coriander to pieces, took their anger out on the poor herb and chucked it in the sambhar. The sambhar tasted horrible to say the least and it only smelt of sambhar and everything that smells of sambhar does not make it sambhar. They probably added a dash of readily available sambhar masala. The dosas were too greasy and smelt of reused oils from their kitchen. The paneer dosa had a combination of paneer 65 and mashed potatoes and the Paneer 65 looked like it is from someone’s leftover plate. We will never be ordering from this place ever again. I can write more detailed review but had to cut it short as a visit to the loo was necessary as a consequence of eating their dosa-sambhar and still a day later I am a regular to the loo. Never again!"

"I arrived here on Saturday afternoon with 14 8 year olds for some hot food after spending some time in the woods. Vince and his team had kindly laid out a large table for us and prepared hot food and drinks for us all....They were super kind and patient as these kids were balls of energy. It was the perfect end to a great day and thanks again to you all for being so flexible and helpful helping me to arrange. Vince even handed out ice lollies as a treat after eating the hot food which was more than I asked for. All in all everyone had a great time. Its a great location but more importantly great staff. "My wife and I transited through Terminal 5 in a Germany to Arizona flight. The only place open in the entire area was Starbuck. I avoid this place on a good day as the coffee, while good, is way overpriced. However, it was morning and we had a ten hour flight in fron of us that was delayed due to fog. What the heck. With no other options my wife and I ordered coffee and two things to eat. I ordered the festive panini that while not great, it was very flavorful and reminded me of Thanksgiving. It was filled filled stuffing and gravy. You really cannot ruin this. My wife went with the all day breakfast wrap, which she described as simply putrid. It was made with an egg-like substance that tasted like bland gray matter. The sausage coins had zero taste and the cheese was like rubber cement. Needless to say, she did not finish it even though she was starving. Shame on Starbucks. And shame on London Heathrow for limiting people to one option. You are a first world airport for goodness sakes. It is far better to go hungry than to experience such a dismal attempt at a wrap."

"This is a chain of coffee restaurants. They sell different types of coffee and frozen drinks. Their prices range from being used in the store to taking away. If you take out, there are cheaper discounts. The location is very good, just outside the supermarket, so if you want to buy some food or coffee before going to the supermarket, you can go here. The store provides restrooms, but you need to ask the staff for the key to open it. The store feels very big because there is one outside Parking lot so very convenient. It's worth a reminder. I don't know if it was a hot day when I came here, but they didn't turn on the AC. It was really hot. In addition, the staff's service attitude was very good and worth recommending. For the price, their coffee is really worth trying."
