"Food wrapped in foil with sauce in a small plastic pot which had leaked all over the food. we had 3 lamb wraps the lamb meat was OK but the wrap bread was rock hard but mushy inside inedible. Not worth £31.00 A very long wait for delivery then delivered cold with the pots of sauce leaked all over the lamb wraps. I do not recommend"

"So I've been a dozen times in harman, I'm looking forward to the next dozen, from great interieur to very friendly staff, which seemingly only aim to take care of you and make sure you go with a smile on your face, we come to eat. the food for me must have taste and deep and good people also see with eating there eyes harman that has cracked on all flats. I'm trying to have another court every time we go, and I have to be disappointed. I love the boiled broth and carrot/break root dip, which they serve before the meal, kokurettenkuchen, königspuppen and the mixed plate for two are all good choices to begin. net I can't choose a favorite that still tries. aprikosen yogurt omg must try. it seems to be few places that meet all the right buttons of atmosphere to service, eat and price. harmen has all these things."

"We had dinner at Trangallan. The food was amazing; very fresh, and different from any common taste, but very familiar at the same time and comforting. The tuna tartare and the octopus were superb. It is generally a bit pricey but unfortunately, the price of some of its plates is ridiculously high relatively to the size of the portions they serve. The cheese plate was just 3 tiny pieces for £7.5, and what felt as quite unkind is the half tea-spoon of yogurt in one of the three tapas deserts served together. Although £10 for the three seems reasonable, the almost non-existent yogurt (which is the cheapest of ingredients) in the yogurt and rhubarb/lemon sweet tapas seemed like a farce. Very nice ambience; friendly, unpretentious, polite stuff and very good service. We loved the food, but we were a bit put off by the price-quantity unbalance. We will probably return but not as often as we would have liked due to this."

"We happened across this place by chance on our last day in London and everyone working there was so so nice! It was a shock after getting the real London treatment where almost everyone is rude or unfriendly and unhelpful! (I get it it must...be annoying with tourists but almost everywhere we went service was not with a smile). Honestly everyone here was lovely, our waitress was so kind and chatty. They let us sit on the beautiful rooftop terrace cause the weather was nice and the waitress offered to take a picture for us! Coming out of the loos I was clearly in a kitchen staff members way but he just went “hi how’re you” like by this point I was so used to everyone else being rude that I was in shock. We had artisan bread with oil and it was delicious! The venue and food were perfect but the staff really really make this place!"

"I had single espresso (Columbia), and it went something like this: Quick sourness (fruity/tasty) Slight bitterness that quickly changes into a long, wholesome nutty sweetness Pleasant fruitiness returns only just slightly along with nice fragrant note Then the wholesome nuttiness just lingers... (sit back and...enjoy.. I have been disappointed by so many other speciality' coffee places in London recently unpleasant sourness then quick finish, horrible. It shouldn't be so hard to find a decent cup of coffee in a big city like London, but it really is at the moment... Thank you very much Saint Espresso for the proper espresso!"

"Although this makes no mention outside of being just a restaurant, you are not made very welcome on a Sunday if you are only in there for a drink. The first thing you are asked is “have you reserved a table for lunch?” If you dare to sit at any of them without eating you are faced with whispers and glances as if they are looking for somewhere else to put you out of the way. On one of my visits with friends we were moved twice. Having said this if you are eating, the food is really good and you will probably not find a better roast dinner. They just need to work on their “bedside manner”. There are better pubs to visit if you just want a drink, but for food"

"the enthusiasm of the birthday party we arrived has tied around the restaurant, which makes the conversation quite difficult, but it soon went back and the ambiente improved something. both our main, lasagne and meatballs, came unconsistently heated. the lasagne was in sharing hot and cool in others. the meatballs were simply piercable, although the pasta was hotly pierced. it was late, we were hungry, so not a fuss made, but it is fair to say that the food prep was sub standard and disappointing."

"I start with the positive, great location, beautiful pub beautiful and welcoming. we had booked a table in advance, which was good as he was pretty busy for a Tuesday. the disappointment came with the service, no one explained about the ordering over the app, we...figured that only for our drinks did not arrive ( apparently we added the wrong table number, we could not find that a drink finally arrived, was one not the correct order, but our server told us that he did not make the drinks. we decided to order food on the bar to be on the safe side. 5 minutes later we were told that there were no salads, no chips and only enough maic for a cake! no shinitzel. while I recognize this thing, it was the fact that nobody really seemed interested that we had a bad experience. eating was pretty good when it arrived, but we had to hurry when we had waited so long. it is a real shame that it would be great if these problems could be eliminated."

"Every review says the same across all different review sites – this is 100% a total scam taking people 's money and not sending orders out. Literally the worst service I have ever received from any takeaway in London. Ordered direct via their website and after an hour I called to make sure my order had been received. I was asked for my order number and postcode and told yes it had and the driver was on the way. We live 5 minutes away from them, so when it didn 't arrive in 10 minutes I called again and was told the same. I repeated that process a further two times and was told the same, and that the driver would arrive 'any second '. After an hour and a half I called again and was told the order had never been received and nothing had left the kitchen yet. Their staff lied repeatedly – tbh it sounded like the same guy on each call, including when he admitted the order had never been cooked yet. On one of the phone calls the guy even 'called the driver to see where he was '. Totally mental. I cancelled the order and will be amazed if I see a refund. This is the second time using them and the second time we 've had an issue."

"We had a reservation for a birthday party with 7 people on a Saturday evening. We ordered a set menu but the food was disappointing. It was heavy and lacked flavor, with an overuse of cumin spice. Most of the dishes seemed like ready-made takeout and fried food. The main course consisted of only two plates for 7 people, with an insufficient amount of meatballs and falafel, which were left uneaten due to the overpowering cumin taste. It seemed like the oil hadn't been changed for a long time. We were only given 3 35cl raki and tap water for the table, without any Salgam, tea, or coffee service. Despite paying £80 per person for the set menu, we were only served Turkish mezes followed by a disappointing stuffed meatball. Although they claimed there were 3 main courses in the set menu, dessert was not provided when requested. We spent nearly £500 for 7 people and felt that it was not worth it. The set menu offered no choice and the portions were small and lacking in quality and taste. There was no entertainment, just a generic Turkish Spotify playlist. Overall, I cannot recommend this place for a celebration on a Saturday evening."

"The Turkish lights and cosy, eclectic decor are always a welcome sight. Highbury is not the shores of the Sea of Marmara or ancient Nicaea, but İznik does a great job of getting you there! The food is fresh. imaginative, full of charm, surprises, and skill, and cooked to perfection. It is a real treat. The staff could not be kinder, friendlier, and more welcoming. A gem."

"Well this was a refreshing treat. Popped into Pizza Express (Upper Street) and I felt I should make use of the offers sent to me via the Pizza Express App. Truth is, I had a feeling that would happen... he he. We were welcomed in (lady friend and I) an immediately I noticed we noticed a warm and friendly environment. We sat at our table, free to choose and I got to work on the whole link the app to the table, place your order on the app, apply rewards to the order, stand up and touch your toes, spin around 3 time, do a little dance, sit back down and hope and pray. I ordered the Classic Pizza La Reine and my Lady Friend ordered the Classic Pizza Fiorentina. We also ordered the Bruschetta Originale and Garlic Dough Balls for a starters, and Raw Slaw as a side. The Garlic Dough Balls were as expected, fresh backed, gorgeously melt in your mouth texture. The Bruschetta Originale was good, however the base was more or less a large oval shaped Dough Ball, half flattened. It started to feel all a bit too doughy, but it was fine in the end. The pizzas were actually quite good. I was surprised by this. The last time I visited Pizza Express was about 10 years ago. I was never too moved by the pizzas at the time. My Classic Pizza La Reine (without Ham) was pretty good. The quantity and ratio of mushroom to olives was spot on and baked to perfection. My lady friend reported similar of the Fiorentina. The icing on the evening had to be our designated waiter who was just fabulous all evening. It felt like if I had asked for a Lamborghini, he would have simply replied.. Be right with you Sir This guy was fine dining, seriously. I made sure to let him know as well, and typically he just remained humble with a shy 'thank you ' and proceeded to tend to our empty water glasses. Top notch geezer!!! Definitely recommend this Pizzerie!!!"

"Went recently with my partner. Ordered potato skins and tomato bruschetta to start with and a pizza to share for our main. The guacamole I asked for was just a hastily mashed avocado (they weren't busy). No lime, chilli etc. and the potato skins were all burnt. The bruschetta was just inedible and I left it. This is one of the most simple Italian dishes and all you need are 5 good quality ingredients. This was the problem, they weren't good quality. The bread was a bizarre crusty roll cut in half rather than a slice of decent grilled sourdough or quality bread. The tomatoes were cheap, bitter and tough as old boots. They were salad tomatoes rather than more appropriate plum tomatoes. The wrong ingredient. There was no olive oil or basil just some dried herbs sprinkled on top. Just a bizarre attempt at a simple dish with no pride taken in it. It cost around £6 and must have comprised about 50p worth of ingredients. I really don't like being so blatantly ripped off.The pizza we had for our main was horrible. A thick doughy base and far too much cheese with barely any tomato sauce. We had to take much of the cheese off to make it edible and it was bland and disappointing. Much better pizza to be had locally (eg Pappagone)."

"My first time here and what a treat, the wonderful staff with special thx to Hanna and her coworker for the amazing welcome. Great to discover this special vegan space, the fact that not one person was glued to a smart phone in a busy bar stood out big time to me as everyone was chilling out and conversing or busy in a productive mood, working on a laptop.. I was introduced to the gastronomic treats of the Mozzarella Sticks as a non vegan who’d given up most scary dairy they were like manner from heaven totally out of this know universe and and any other in sure .. I’ll be returning soon with a new worshiper or two at the “Blacksmith and Vegan Maker alter”"

"Went here with friends for a catch up. We felt very welcome by the staff. Cannot fault the service which was fast, friendly, knowledgable and fun. The food was excellent, go with the staff recommendation I was glad I did. The sausage rigatoni was lovely. All enjoyed their meals, food very tasty. Deserts lovely. Drinks a good price too. With a shared starter and each a main and desert and a couple alcoholic drinks each (some doubles) it was about £34each which seemed a bargain! We often meet up in various restaurants and have had bills double that before. Was a lovely dining experience. Recommended and will go back. The food and service was excellent and it was popular with other diners"

"It's been a few years since I was last here, but very little has changed the food is still brilliant, it's an amazing brunch spot. The service/culture is still very annoying. They made us stand outside, even though we could see empty tables, seemingly so that they could build up an aura of having people standing outside. It happened to loads of other guests while we were there they don't acknowledge your presence unless you go in, but if you go in they immediately tell you you must wait outside. Then they take an age to show you to the table that was always there, waiting for you. The serving staff are extremely slow (possibly because they are understaffed, but there is also an air of disinterest). It takes 20 minutes to get a coffee. But the menu is solid, the prices are fairly reasonable and the food (I had pancakes, my wife had the mushrooms and spinach) is genuinely excellent. I wish the service was better, but I'll still go back, because it's a lovely brunch spot!"

"It is not often that popping into a cafe for a take away flat white and a sandwich leaves an impression but the staff here are charming. It felt like I had been there dozens of times and was a regular although it was my first visit. Coffee carefully made and nice sandwich. Venue looked very clean, no uncleared tables. Everyone seemed in such a good mood, staff and customers alike. You know what some places are like, everyone staring at their phones and not making eye contact, well none of that here. Staff actually talk rather than read off a script. Also just read the charming reply to another review by the manager. Thats how to properly address mildly negative comments. Well answered."

"I used to love this place and go there all the time. Great sushi, reasonable prices and super helpful staff. The new management taking over is incredibly unhelpful. I called them to make a booking flagging that I was loyal customer and i have been going there for the last ten years. The restaurant manager was completely inflexible, couldn’t care less and she invited me to book on open table where everything was obviously fully booked. If you don’t care about your loyal customers, whom do you a care about? Very disappointing."
