"A raucous birthday party’s enthusiasm rattled around the restaurant when we arrived, making conversation rather difficult but it soon left and the ambiance improved somewhat. Garlic bread with mozzarella to start was good and wine, a modest valpolicella perfectly acceptable. Both our mains, lasagna and meatballs, came heated inconsistently. The lasagna was hot in parts and cool in others. The meatballs were just lukewarm throughout, even though the pasta was piping hot. It was late, we were hungry, so didn’t make a fuss, but it’s fair to say the food prep was sub standard and disappointing."

Cant fault this restaurant 1 bit. Staff were 100% service and food jus smashed it better that the gerkin restaurant.

It’s a huge place Definitely no need to book Probably about 4 tables occupied at 1pm . I think the waitress was new . She was lovely but was clearly still learning

Our mains came out very fast however it took a while for dessert to come and service was very slow. Both me and my boyfriend felt ill afterwards, and we wonder if this had anything to do with how quickly our prawn main came out

Terrible. Really poor. the pork chop appears to have been grilled for several days. I would gladly sole my boots with it! Broccoli was both over cooked and cold quite an achievement! Despite being virtually empty, and having stated, “We are rushing for a train and only have 90 mins” on the booking, they took about 30 mins to take our order. Terrible. Really terrible. I love the idea of Jamie’s Italian but the execution is really bad.
