"FANTASTIC ! Been with my Mrs times now. Service -excellent Food excellent Staff- polite, friendly and inviting A go to and a safe bet for a nice meal. Feels very hygienic. Nice atmosphere. Always busy but that’s no surprise. We’ve been stuck before and pitched up twice last minute at last service, just before pm, the manager has always accommodated us, even though both times we had no booking Wish more places were like the boarding house. Thank you."

"This is a local restaurant which I have used many times because it is so dependable. We had booked as it can be very busy at lunchtime. We arrived in good time, were warmly greeted and allocated our table. Service was friendly and slick. Menu has lots of attractive options. We were all more than happy with our food. We all opted for pasta dishes and were delight by both quality and portion size. My only hesitation is that the tables are quite close together, still great food and excellent value for money."

"They have a thing about trying to power trip customers. On more than one occasion I've made my order at the drive thru, proceeded to pay to then be ordered like a school child to park round the corner. A server then arrives at the window with the order within seconds of me switching my engine off. This is completely pointless other than to tell people what to do for the sake of it. It's also a total waste of staff resources to have them make repeated needless trips to the carpark when waiting an extra few seconds at the hatch would be enough."

"After temporarily closing due to the pandemic, this beloved bar in Johnstone has recently reopened. It is my go-to spot and I am thrilled that I can visit again. The restaurant is currently closed but they have plans to reopen it once business picks up. Overall, it is an excellent establishment."

"I consistently receive fantastic service here, and the food is both delicious and of the highest quality! The Hunters Bar is perfect for all sports events or just for enjoying a drink. The staff always go above and beyond for their customers, and they also cater to private events. I highly recommend the Fox and Hounds to everyone—it’s definitely a must-try!"

"we just returned from an early dinner here. I was very surprised to get a table because we booked last minute for 8 people, but they managed to accommodate us. the service was fast and the staff was friendly and attentive. that wait for eating was quite a pain, but I really don't think that because I think everything was freshly cooked to order. I got the macburger and it was absolutely perfect. my man has fish and chips and he couldn't blame him for saying his best. came with beautiful handcut chips and the teig was very crispy. the prices are average and I think that the quality they get for their money is great! we love the blair normally and this is the place where we go when we want to eat good quality, but I think that will be our new place! very recommended x"

The service for takeout orders is quick and efficient. The dinner menu is priced at £20-30 per person. The food receives a perfect score of 5, as does the service and atmosphere. Highly recommended dishes include the Chicken Pakora, Nan, and Chicken Tikka Masala. Finding parking can be tricky, but there is free street parking available."

"Very Poor! Just returned from a Xmas Eve meal and extremely disappointed with this local eatery! White wine not chilled Starter not cooked properly, Chef never took time to explain and sent young inexperienced waiting staff back with the explanation should be cooked fine as it was in the oven for 15 minutes or so! Main course, Yes! Large portion however bland and stodgy to say the least! I always try and support local restaurants however sad to say I will not return to the Main Street Bar Grill in Houston. Go somewhere else or cook at home and enjoy your evening! I was advised this has just been taken over and will soon be rebranded? Good luck with that if this is an example of what you are offering! Not for me."
