"We stayed at the hotel across the street from the hotel. One weekday evening we visited and two of us had the special "steak" and one of us had pasta. Both dishes were excellent, we shared! We tried to visit on a weekend, with no success, the place was packed with some "reserved" tables. This was disappointing as we would have loved another meal here. We did sit outside one nice day and had a snack of white asparagus soup and some olives and bread. This was tasty. Don't hesitate to visit during the weekday but maybe need reservations during the weekend. Service was friendly and attentive."

"A good range of burgers to be had. Service is quick and no fuss. Sweet potato fries are served here with avocado or peanut sauce. Not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, but it beats most burger joints in terms of taste. Served with fritz sodas, a soda much preferred to the coca cola brands. I went with the normal hallali burger with extra jalapenos, was a perfect level of hotness, tasty and the meat was a delight. The peanut sauce with fries is great too. They have now opened a second shop in the main shopping centre inside Kassel. Recommended."

Dieser Abend in der kleinen Konoba war mehr als nur eine Mahlzeit; es war ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, das alle Sinne ansprach. We walked about a mile through a mild blizzard to get there, and we were given a really great welcome. I don't think they were expecting a...couple of English blokes to come in on a freezing cold November night, but they could not have been friendlier.
