"Von außen unscheinbar, direkt an einer Hauptstraße gelegen überrascht das Restaurant Daphne innen mit einer tollen, stilvollen Einrichtung und hervorragendem Essen. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und schnell.Die Einrichtung und das gesamte Ambiente zeugen von Geschmack und stehen im Kontrast zur Außenansicht, einem Eckhaus an einer der belebtesten Straßen in Kassel. Das Essen ist lecker, die Portionen sind ausreichend und bieten ein gutes Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis. Je nachdem, wo man sitzt, erscheint der Gastraum leider zu dunkel, da helfen auch die aufgestellten Kerzen wenig. Auch die Küchengerüche beeinflussen den Gesamteindruck negativ. Wer also nach einem wirklich leckeren griechischen Essen noch eine gesellschaftliche Verpflichtung hat oder vielleicht ins Theater oder Kino will, sollte entweder etwas zum Wechseln im Auto haben oder einen anderen Tag zum Essen wählen. Davon abgesehen lohnt sich ein Besuch in jedem Fall, dass Essen ist frisch und lecker, die Bedienung sehr nett und zuvorkommend (zumindest bei unserem Besuch). Wir kommen wieder!"

"we were there by chance at our trip from dunes to kassel and were so thrilled that the next night we are back with our well known ones. great atmosphere, small, fine, cozy, rustic. no snak, you feel comfortable and can eat very tasty - you had the feeling in Spanish, although the owner is not at all. respect! : the garlic / avioli sauce for dipping and the fresh brot were super great. you realize that she is made herself (at least she has overwhelmed well) - she has already made apetit on more before eating and the first starving. the chefin has served us personally: comes past with a large plaque. we had gambas, thunfish, goat cheese flambit, kartoffels, and sepia fish and as dessert flambit/canded? banane. all very tasty. I personally have tasted the sepia fish and the flambit goat cheese best. I found the prices ok: 5,50 e for the goat cheese and between 8 € and 10,50 € for gambas, sepia fish etc. the tables are grouped around the bar in half circles. the daily cocktail was super delicious, but we did not get it the next day, because the cocktail/bartender was not there the day. but still was great. the beer was also good :-) they do everything spontaneously fresh - which I like very well. the portions are not very large but to second it has made fun to test several dishes. on the second day I got the lamb fillet: incredibly delicious! the brot"

"It was my second time there, first time in Winter was the food delicous and also the vegan mango lassi, and foods tasted diffrent from each other but the staff weren't friendly at all, i find the amount of rice also really small, the second time all the dishes tasted the same and mangolassi was really really over sweetened and the stuff were a bit friendly but just a BIT! Bit they never ever came to ask us if we need sth else or if everything okay is... We feeled abandoned the food was delicous anyway(mine) the one that my friend had was really really salty, they forgot to bring my salad which i ordered n for payment u become no bill! U just have to pay! I was sure that I'm paying more than i ordered n became, but he was sure that he is correct... Anyway....I think i will go there again sometime... In the hope that they raise the quality a bit, cause the prices aren't cheap also."

"Das NAMASTE ist ein Imbiss/Bistro in der Treppenstraße und bietet in der warmen Jahreszeit auch einige Plätze im Außenbereich.Es werden ausnahmslos vegetarische/vegane Gerichte serviert, die Auswahl ist völlig ausreichend. Geschmacklich bei meinen bisherigen Besuchen immer bestens und die Größe der Portionen ist dem Preis entsprechend. Mit großem Hunger sollte man sich gegebenenfalls eine Vorspeise zum Hauptgericht dazu bestellen.Einziges Manko ist der Service. Da gibt es zum einen, je nach Mitarbeiter(in) eine gewisse Sprachbarriere, die das Bestellen etwas schwierig gestaltet. Zum anderen überzeugten die Mitarbeiter bei meinen bisherigen Besuchen auch nicht unbedingt durch überbordende Freundlichkeit.Alles in allem aber durchaus eine Empfehlung wenn der Stadtbummel hungrig macht."

"We were the first to eat here yesterday and were very excited! The ambience is a dream, the food is a joy and the staff super friendly and attentive. "we went there as a stop to our road to home and it was definitely worth it. the menu is 90% vegan and really delicious, the focus is on bowl and burger. Also make sure to try the desserts, as they are completely spiritually flowering! reservations are highly recommended, as there are only some tables (~5 inside, 3 outside)."

"We stayed at the hotel across the street from the hotel. One weekday evening we visited and two of us had the special "steak" and one of us had pasta. Both dishes were excellent, we shared! We tried to visit on a weekend, with no success, the place was packed with some "reserved" tables. This was disappointing as we would have loved another meal here. We did sit outside one nice day and had a snack of white asparagus soup and some olives and bread. This was tasty. Don't hesitate to visit during the weekday but maybe need reservations during the weekend. Service was friendly and attentive."

"Das Molos liegt direkt an der Fulda, was ja an und für sich schön ist aber die Aufmachung des Aussenbereichs lässt zu wünschen übrig, ebenso wie die Bedienung. Bis wir einen Platz bekommen hatten, dauerte es etwas. Als dann ein Tisch frei war, mussten wir von alleine fragen, ob wir uns setzen dürfen. (Chronisch unterbesetzt, jedenfalls die Bedienung im Aussenbereichs)Nach kurzer Wartezeit durften wir bestellen. Der Kellner kam überheblich und arrogant herüber: "zum Tzaziki und Salat gibt es selbstverständlich Brot dazu" (genervter Ton) Die Weinempfehlung war wiederum sehr gut.Die Vorspeise, Tzaziki kam schnell, allerdings zunächst OHNE Brot (wohl doch nicht so selbstverständlich).Die Hauptspeisen kamen ebenfalls kurze Zeit später. Allerdings gab es auch hier zum Salat kein Brot dazu (entgegen der "Selbstverständlichkeit" --> Personal ist unorganisiert, es liegt auf der Hand, dass sie keine Gastroerfahrung vorweisen) Die Gerichte (bunter Salat mit Hähnchenspiessen, Kritahraki Nudeln) waren mittelmäßig, unsere Erwartungen hinsichtlich Geschmack, Qualität) wurden nicht erfüllt. Während des Essens ist uns ein EICHENBLATT im Salat aufgefallen. Nach einiger Zeit des Wartens würden wir jedoch nicht wahrgenommen. Als wir bezahlen wollten, sprachen wir das Blatt an. Antwort des Kellners: "das ist nicht meine Schuld".. Das hätten wir uns auch denken können, jedoch ist dies nicht die Art und Weise, wie mit seinen Gästen umzugehen ist. Auch hier war wieder die gewisse Arroganz zu hören. Nichtmal ein "Entschuldung" oder ähnliches konnte dem Kellner entlockt werden. Lediglich: "ich werde es an die Küche weitergeben"Diese Art und Weise mit uns, ihren Gästen, umzugehen war für uns ausschlaggebend überhaupt diese Bewertung hier zu schreiben und dem Restaurant "Molos" keine Weitere Chance mehr einzuräumen. Unser Fazit:- Essen 5 von 10- Personal 2 von 10- Ambiente 3 von 10"

"Wir waren mit schlemmerblock da. Die Bedienung hat uns darauf hingewiesen dass sie ohne Reservierung sonntags eigentlich keinen Block zulässt. Sie hat aber eine Ausnahme gemacht da im Restaurant gähnende leere geherrscht hat. Im Block steht es wird im Reservierung gebeten,dennoch gehen wir seid Jahren Mit dem Block essen und diese Aussage haben wie noch nie gehört. Einzig können die Restaurants angeben,dass an bestimmten Tagen kein Schlemmerblock zulässig ist.aber weil man nicht reserviert hat war und neu. Wir haben alle schnitzel bestellt. Rösti,Kartoffelecken oder Pommes waren nichts besonders, eher alles sehr fettig.kein großes Geschmackserlebnis und nichts außergewöhnliches..Die Karte ist generell sehr klein uns wenig ansprechend. Man könnte sicher mehr draus machen. Für uns zum Schlemmerblock aber ok da wir nur ein Gericht bezahlt haben."

"today we ate at "simply toast" at the same time. after ample consideration there was a "steel worscht" toast for me and for my accompaniment a "pesto pronto". we ordered it in the menu which meant that we also got sweet potatoes (including dip) and a drink of our choice served. the menus both moved under 10 euro. but at the end a word. the device is beautifully modern and fits to the current design trends, which we both felt as very pleasant.The sweet potato pomers were simply super. in combination with the tasty dip was the whole just totally delicious. the dead was nothing to do with it. the ahle worscht toast (as brot I chose the roggenbrot and my accompaniment for her the multigrain bread) was very interesting, especially the cheese mix and so also totally delicious. my accompaniment was also very much done by her toast, but said that all of you might have tasted better with my brot. At the end we were nicely saturated and eating was not difficult in us. so the price/performance ratio is just fantastic. super eating with fresh ingredients, a totally nice service and a beautiful location! this local is really an enrichment for kassel and I hope that with this particular idea it can continue to assert itself against possible competitors with consistent quality!"

"Ein "Edel"-Itatliener ist mir ein Begriff, aber seit seit wann gibt es auch "Edel"-Griechen !? Das Ilyssia zählt zu dieser Kategorie. Waren am Gründonnerstag (gestern) hier zum Abendessen. Gepflegtes Ambiente, super nette, aufmerksame Bedienung. Kleine, überschaubare Speisekarte, aber sehr hochpreisig. Vorweg Weißbrot mit Olivenöl vom Haus. Als Vorspeise Scamorza (Mozzarella) gegrillt, mit Austernpilzen,Trüffelöl auf Salat,.... geteilt (12,50 €). Kleine Portion, aber lecker ! Danach 1x Okopus (16,00 €) und 1x Gyros, Pommes, Zaziki, ohne Salat (14,50€) als Hauptgang bestellt. Beides hervorragend. Bestes Gyros seit langem. Wird allerdings auf dem runden Serviertablett schnell kalt. Weinkarte (auch gehoben Preisklasse) umfangreich. Für Primitivo (6 €) entschieden. War ok. Fazit: einen netten, kulinarischen Abend verbracht. Sehr zu empfehlen. Werde beim nächsten Mal in KS noch das Mythos testen. Dann kenne ich hoffentlich den "besten" Griechen in Kassel."

"Wir waren mit Geschäftskollegen zum Essen vor Ort! Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und dann unseren Tisch gebracht. Der Kellner war sehr sehr freundlich empfahl sofort einen guten Wein und brachte ein Probegläschen an den Tisch. Darauf hin bestellten wir gleich eine Flasche des köstlichen Weines.Wir bestellten vorweg einen Rote Bete Salat, Kichererbsenmousse und Halloumi. Die Gerichte waren sehr schön angerichtet und schmackhaft. Im Hauptgang hatten wir Schweinefilet, klassisches Gyros mit Zaziki, Kalbsleber, sowie Spaghetti mit Scampi bestellt.Da das Restaurant an diesem Abend nicht zu voll war kann das Essen schnell. Es war reichlich und sehr lecker. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder. Toller Service nettes Ambiente sollte man gesehen haben."

However, I tired to summon the waiter, to pay the bill, but an overweight man from the staff, who was not our waiter came with the check, which was 32 euros, he counted out the change, from 40 Euros, a five note, and some coins, I said Grazie, and before I could count my change, he scooped up all of the coins, and pocketed them before I could leave what I thought was appropriate, I didn't want to make a scene, over a small amount of money, but for a high quality restaurant, I thought this was extremely tacky. I've been paying with cash while traveling because of the Credit card international service fee. In Germany, tipping is not obligatory, but at ones discretion. I wanted to leave one euro, but he took 3.90. Just a note to the staff, Let the customer decide how much to leave for a Tip, not the waiter!!!!! I wanted to leave the tip to our waiter, not some guy who comes to take our money."
