"mama africa itself sits on a low chair before the reception. she cooks coffee on African art, she takes herself all the time for it. the result is a thick, dark, sweet coffee, served at the end of the meal. surprisingly African dishes that are eaten with the hands. the pancake under the vegetables and meat serves as a scoop. we found it an experience. no alcohol is given out, but this should not spoil the fun."

"My colleague and I were working near Kassel and found this restaurant on the internet as highly recommended. We walked about a mile through a mild blizzard to get there, and we were given a really great welcome. I don't think they were expecting a...couple of English blokes to come in on a freezing cold November night, but they could not have been friendlier. As well as the waiting staff trying out their English we had a good laugh and the food was absolutely fantastic. Out of a day working trip, this restaurant was the top highlight. Excellent! If I could give stars for service I would."

"Sehr empfehlenswert! Die kleine Konobar ist zentral am Bhf. Wilhelmshöhe gelegen und von außen unscheinbar. Eine Speisenkarte im Aushang ist außen nur als kleiner Ausschnitt in der Außenwerbung zu entdecken. Innen kreativ geschmackvoll und gemütlich einladend eingerichtet. Sehr sauber und sehr freundlicher fachlicher Service. Sus dervKüche gabs selbstgebackenes Brot, das in Kombination mit dem Olivenöl am Tisch seehr lecker war. Als Vorspeise orderten wir den klassischen Prsut. Gut angerichtet und entsprach voll unseren Erwartungen. Als Hauptgericht gab es Sepia mit Kartoffel/Mangold, der sehr lecker zubereitet war. Einziger Wermutstropfen war das zusätzlich gewünschte Aioli zum Tintenfisch, das leider Convenience und nicht so lecker war. Das tolle handwerkliche Können des Kochs wurde hierdurch leider etwas abgewertet und ist gleichzeitig mein einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag. Z.B. ein gutes angesetzten Öl mit Knoblauch ist ein guter Aioli Ersatz ohne großen Zeit und Kostenaufwand. Preislich alles im Rahmen. "A burger festival of special kind. They also feel like they want a burger and are disappointed when they eat one of McDonalds or Burger King. When I choose this FastFood alternative, I always feel that way and I'm annoyed to have eaten so much there again. Now I was in the neighbor for the first time. That means we were five. Everyone ordered a burger. What can I say? It was so delicious that my taste nerves celebrated Christmas and Easter at the same time. Absolutely tasty. The burger is large, the Patty was perfectly fried medium (you can choose the degree of cooking) and the sauces are homemade. The supplements were fresh. Everyone who likes burgers must go to the neighbor. A reservation is absolutely necessary because the restaurant is not very large. "I enjoyed this place the second I discovered it. I visited the best restaurant in town after a one hour walk and they were only taking reservations so I was desperate for a good place to eat. "We were the first to eat here yesterday and were very excited! The ambience is a dream, the food is a joy and the staff super friendly and attentive. The food was on a high level without being overpriced and the portions were so big that you went well saturated home. Very pleasant. We will certainly return regularly, but probably just a place with reservation soon. Because the reindeer farm is likely to develop very quickly into a new favorite restaurant of many cashiers. "Die Location ist wirklich sehr schön und die Toiletten sind sehr schön dekoriert. Sie haben einen zweiten Stock und einen Art Wintergarten. Die Bedienungen waren alle sehr freundlich. Sie sind selbst auf extra Wünsche eingegangen. Ich habe mir die Trüffelpasta ohne Trüffel bestellt und der Chef hat nochmal drauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass in dem Gericht Trüffelöl ist. Er hat den Vorschlage gemacht mit einer Buttersoße und Parmesan und hat mir somit etwas anderes als auf der Karte steht gezaubert. Daher gehen sie wirklich auf die Gäste drauf ein. Das Essen hat wirklich geschmeckt. Das Dessert „Hefebällchen mit Honig und Vanilleeis“ war wirklich lecker und ist definitiv zu empfehlen. Allem in allem war es ein wirklich schöner Besuch!"

"We stayed at the hotel across the street from the hotel. One weekday evening we visited and two of us had the special "steak" and one of us had pasta. Both dishes were excellent, we shared! We tried to visit on a weekend, with no success, the place was packed with some "reserved" tables. This was disappointing as we would have loved another meal here. We did sit outside one nice day and had a snack of white asparagus soup and some olives and bread. This was tasty. Don't hesitate to visit during the weekday but maybe need reservations during the weekend. Service was friendly and attentive."

"Das Molos liegt direkt an der Fulda, was ja an und für sich schön ist aber die Aufmachung des Aussenbereichs lässt zu wünschen übrig, ebenso wie die Bedienung. Bis wir einen Platz bekommen hatten, dauerte es etwas. Als dann ein Tisch frei war, mussten wir von alleine fragen, ob wir uns setzen dürfen. (Chronisch unterbesetzt, jedenfalls die Bedienung im Aussenbereichs)Nach kurzer Wartezeit durften wir bestellen. Der Kellner kam überheblich und arrogant herüber: "zum Tzaziki und Salat gibt es selbstverständlich Brot dazu" (genervter Ton) Die Weinempfehlung war wiederum sehr gut.Die Vorspeise, Tzaziki kam schnell, allerdings zunächst OHNE Brot (wohl doch nicht so selbstverständlich).Die Hauptspeisen kamen ebenfalls kurze Zeit später. Allerdings gab es auch hier zum Salat kein Brot dazu (entgegen der "Selbstverständlichkeit" --> Personal ist unorganisiert, es liegt auf der Hand, dass sie keine Gastroerfahrung vorweisen) Die Gerichte (bunter Salat mit Hähnchenspiessen, Kritahraki Nudeln) waren mittelmäßig, unsere Erwartungen hinsichtlich Geschmack, Qualität) wurden nicht erfüllt. Während des Essens ist uns ein EICHENBLATT im Salat aufgefallen. Nach einiger Zeit des Wartens würden wir jedoch nicht wahrgenommen. Als wir bezahlen wollten, sprachen wir das Blatt an. Antwort des Kellners: "das ist nicht meine Schuld".. Das hätten wir uns auch denken können, jedoch ist dies nicht die Art und Weise, wie mit seinen Gästen umzugehen ist. Auch hier war wieder die gewisse Arroganz zu hören. Nichtmal ein "Entschuldung" oder ähnliches konnte dem Kellner entlockt werden. Lediglich: "ich werde es an die Küche weitergeben"Diese Art und Weise mit uns, ihren Gästen, umzugehen war für uns ausschlaggebend überhaupt diese Bewertung hier zu schreiben und dem Restaurant "Molos" keine Weitere Chance mehr einzuräumen. Unser Fazit:- Essen 5 von 10- Personal 2 von 10- Ambiente 3 von 10"

"Wir waren mit schlemmerblock da. Die Bedienung hat uns darauf hingewiesen dass sie ohne Reservierung sonntags eigentlich keinen Block zulässt. Sie hat aber eine Ausnahme gemacht da im Restaurant gähnende leere geherrscht hat. Im Block steht es wird im Reservierung gebeten,dennoch gehen wir seid Jahren Mit dem Block essen und diese Aussage haben wie noch nie gehört. Einzig können die Restaurants angeben,dass an bestimmten Tagen kein Schlemmerblock zulässig ist.aber weil man nicht reserviert hat war und neu. Wir haben alle schnitzel bestellt. Rösti,Kartoffelecken oder Pommes waren nichts besonders, eher alles sehr fettig.kein großes Geschmackserlebnis und nichts außergewöhnliches..Die Karte ist generell sehr klein uns wenig ansprechend. Man könnte sicher mehr draus machen. Für uns zum Schlemmerblock aber ok da wir nur ein Gericht bezahlt haben."

"Nach einem Kaffee und einem Spaziergang durch die Stadt bekamen wir spontan Hunger und suchten nach etwas in der Nähe. Gesucht und gefunden. Der Take Hallali Burger ist ein kleiner Stand mit ein paar Sitzmöglichkeiten. Als wir ankamen bereitete ein Koch die Fleischpatties frisch vor. Die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und die Burger recht flott zubereitet. Sie sind günstig und das Fleisch ist sehr saftig und lecker. Nur das Brot ist nicht ganz meins. Trotzdem sehr lecker. Die Imbissbude hat zwar einen Abzug, der Qualm war aber trotzdem sehr dominant und qualmte die ganze Straße voll bis hoch in die dort gegenüber liegenden Wohnungen."

I wanted to leave the tip to our waiter, not some guy who comes to take our money."

"In der Regel besuche ich das Ginkgo gerne, da die Qualität des Essens sehr gut ist. Ich gehe zu verschiedenen Zeiten dorthin, sowohl zum Mittag- als auch zum Abendessen. Manchmal bin ich allein unterwegs, manchmal in einer Gruppe. Das bedeutet, dass wir einen guten Umsatz für das Restaurant generieren. Seit dem Wechsel des Serviceteams ist ein erheblicher Qualitätsverlust im Servicebereich zu verzeichnen, der die bisherige Atmosphäre beeinträchtigt hat. Dies gipfelt darin, dass man, sobald man sieht, dass der Kunde fertig ist (in meinem Fall war der Cappuccino noch halb voll), zum Gehen aufgefordert wird – nach knapp 50 Minuten (10.08.204). Soweit ich weiß, gibt es keinen Vermerk, dass es eine maximale Dauer gibt, die ein Kunde in der Lokalität verweilen darf. Beim Bezahlen habe ich nach dem Verantwortlichen gefragt: Dieser hat sich jedoch entschuldigt, muss aber auch das inkompetente Handeln seines Personals verantworten. Zusammenfassung: Bevor Argumente aus zwei verschiedenen Perspektiven einer Situation herangezogen werden: In der beschriebenen Situation ist kein Vorfall aufgetreten, es gab keine Auseinandersetzung oder ähnliches. Glücklicherweise gibt es andere Lokale mit einer ähnlichen Auswahl an Speisen, auf die man ausweichen kann. Dies werde ich meinerseits tun. Dies ist der einfachste Weg. Als Kunde kann man einiges tolerieren, muss es aber nicht immer tun. Gerne wünsche ich dem Ginkgo auch weiterhin viel Erfolg. Es wäre sehr bedauerlich, wenn das neue Serviceteam dem Erfolg des Gesamtkonzepts im Wege stehen würde."
