"All Saturday, my wife and I spent in Münster with instructions. In the evening we wanted to eat at the Spiekerhof near Emile. But unfortunately the Giverny was completely occupied, no table found for us anymore. After a small conversation with the Maitre he mentioned the golden spoon a few meters further down the road. A short call confirmed us a table for two and we left Emile for this evening. The golden spoon has arrived at Hotel Überwasserhof and serves as a restaurant for guests and external audiences. After entering we got a table on the front of the counter. Something very in hectic transit, but still tolerable. The restaurant was very well visited, without reservation it would be problematic to get a table. Where in Münster you can go for dinner on weekends without reservation. All restaurants are well filled during the weekend! Peter captured the ambience with his photos. I don't add anything, you can feel comfortable. Tables sufficiently dimensioned and cozy chairs. The service brought us the cards and we ordered a glass of pils while we studied the cards. The map (one looks at the HP starts with 3, 4 or 5 gear surprise menus, as well as many Italian classics in the back. What is so expected in the ambitious Italian restaurant. The daily card contained three truffles (white dishes: carpaccio, pasta and meat rolls. You were not informed about the nature of the migrated meat. I suppose it was some kind of involtini. Normally my wife and I can't get away from a surprise menu, but this time we both wanted to eat a la carte. My wife chose the Carpaccio from the day card as an appetizer. I chose the antipasti offered. The antipasti variations proved to be handcrafted well prepared and tasty. Vitello Tonnato, grilled vegetables, seafood salad, all right. Especially good a role made of zucchini, filled with fig and a cheese, then grilled, lukewarm served. Best part of the selection. My wife's carpaccio was not so good. The meat itself top, chilled, thin, there was nothing to put on it. But what a cold truffle sauce should bring to a cold dish with curled truffles is not coming to me. The truffle could not develop any aroma on the cold carpaccio and cold sauce. That was a smooth fall, handmade bad! My wife was very disappointed in the court. To the main foods, and the reason why we both had ordered a la carte. We both wanted to taste from the homemade filled noodles, and the selection was very difficult during bids. So we agreed on two offers and agreed to cost each other. First we ordered: Tortelloni ai fichi Giant Tortelloni with Mascarpone walnut filling on Lauch fig sauce The plate went to my wife, but I was allowed to taste! A very interesting dish. The Mascarpone walnut filling was extremely delicious. And the nutty aroma complemented with the sweet fig sauce! Top, great dish, very delicious! The court compensated my wife for the Faux pas at the Carpaccio. I got: Ravioli al burro e salvia Ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta in sage butter and Parmesan Classic Italian cuisine! And classic delicious, I love butter sage sauce on pasta. The filling of ravioli also good. Both my costing wife and I were satisfied. We had made a good choice in the main course. The dessert consisted of: Panna cotta alla vaniglia Vanille Panna Cotta and Ravioli al cioccolato, homemade chocolate ravioli filled with ricotta and white chocolate to orange sauce with minzeis. My wife was happy with her Panna Cotta. Good classic. I chose chocolate ravioli. An interesting dessert, the pasta vinegar was prepared with cocoa, rather sweet. It fits well with minceis and fillings from ricotta and white chocolate. For the whole menu we drank a 2013 Sicilian Grillo, with a fair price of 19,50 EUR. A decent wine that accompanied the food well. The service had extremely much to do last night, but did not make any weaknesses, but it could not be particularly warm in view of the Pensum. Conclusion: Actually a good Italian cuisine, but deduction for the hunzte Carpaccio. That's not how to deal with truffles!"
