Antonio and the staff are super friendly, the food is seasonal and therefore a great, varied and high quality pleasure. It is also good that the service has been there for a long time, which builds a very family relationship.

if you are most tired to visit, you should visit the baroque castle... and if you are there, it is only about 800 m to the il borgo. At midday you get a really good Italian food for only 10.50 €, including appetizer, main dish, soft drink or a glass of wine and an espresso - very good PRIS BENEFIT CONDITION. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp! das Restaurant macht wenig Werbung, liegt etwas versteckt am Schlosspark aber es braucht auch keine Werbung, denn Gutes setzt sich durch! Netter Service, lauschige Atmosphäre, überschaubare Karte mit aktuellen Gerichten (und nicht zig Gerichte wie woanders), originelle italienische Küche, die noch raffiniert wurde. I've been here a few times and I always liked it. there are not that many tables, can be and as this is a popular place, they need to make a reservation or come there early. the restaurant interieur is somewhat dark...(all wood), but it is atmospheric and with a few candles here and it comes as cozy. there is a big menu to choose from, and the five or six dishes we had so far were all really good. the waiters are sometimes somewhat stretchable, but the service is fast and the prices are completely reasonable. no separate parking, so best reached to foot or bike.

Wirklich beeindruckend ist es, wie es im recht kleinen, aber meist proppenvollen und oft eher lauten Restaurant Il Borgo eine einzige Kellnerin schafft, den Service für das gesamte Restaurant zu stemmen. Reservierungen im Voraus speziell bei einem großen Familientreffen sind zwingend notwendig. Ansonsten könnte es passieren, keinen Tisch Platz zu bekommen. Als Vorspeisen sind gleich mehrere Bruschette sehr zu empfehlen. Beim vegetarischen oder nicht vegetarischen Hauptgang kommen sowohl die Pasta als auch die Pizza Liebhaber*innen auf ihre Kosten.
