"An Nam was a positive lunch time experience for our family on a German holiday. We called one hour ahead and asked to reserve a table. The gentleman on the phone spoke German and enough English to feel comfortable that our table would be waiting for us when we arrived. Getting to the restaurant was easy, and since it was a Holiday, parking was free. Sundays and Holidays, street meter parking is free. We parked right outside An Nam, perfect! Upon entering the Vietnamese restaurant we were promptly met by the same gentleman who I spoke with on the phone. We arrived at 1300, and there were hardly any other people in the place; as they only opened an hour prior. That said, they still afforded us a nice bit more private table with a perfect view of the front street. The server gave us both German and English menus, nice. We ordered green tea, and the kids ordered homemade lemonade. The drinks arrived promptly, and the servings were generous, and excellent of quality. We also ordered appetizers, Pho, and our main dishes. All the dishes that were served were tasty and fresh. Portions were more than enough for us. Preparing the food took a little longer than expected, for so few people in the place, but I brushed that off as everything being made from fresh ingredients. The looping music in the background was nice at first, but there are only like seven songs, so after an hour or so, we knew every song before it came, and found the experience rather funny... Maybe they could add 3-4 more songs? Then it wouldn't be so obvious. The price for all four of us was very reasonable. I expected it to cost much more. The place is very clean, the staff were responsive, and it gave a nice change of pace from the normal German cuisine in the city. I paid in cash, they had a sign that said "No EC Card", I am not sure if they take Credit Cards..."

"we ate in mio last night after leaving another restaurant around the corner, because the waitress was so rude. what a contrast! the waiter was happy to serve us dinner at their street side tables with comfortable couch sessions. he was quick to offer us an English language menu that we appreciated. we ate vegetarian risotto, bruschetta and chicken salad all delicious. attentive, professional service highly recommended."

"We were here for a family party. The friendly owners were uncomplicated and cared for us. They also discussed the additional wishes of the children. The selection of vegetables was a little slender a lot of bamboo, but above all the duck was very crispy and well seasoned. The selection of food and drinks is large and cost-effective."

"Lots of vegan options and they are really good. The peanut sauce in Seitan Sate has gone in it, which is a nice surprise. The Wantan Soup is really good and actually tastes like Wantan Soup! Finally! Pho Ha Noi Chay in Leipzig that is spicy and has fresh veggies on top! The broth is good too. The Tofu Curry is creamy and delicious. Steam Ramen has some really good and good sauces. Bun Chay Nam Bo is super packed with flavor! It comes with lots of sauce, which is kind of a spicy teriyaki salty sauce. It’s really good, though the sincean pieces were a bit chewy for me. Golden Garden is interesting and the herbs have a strong flavor. Many vegan options and those are very tasty. The peanut sauce in Seitan Sate has ingwer and it is a very nice surprise. The Wantan Soup is great it really tastes like Wantan soup! Finally, Pho Ha Noi Chay in Leipzig that is sharp and has fresh vegetables! The broth is also good. The Tofu Curry is creamy and tasty. Steam Ramen has some really interesting and good sauces. Bun Chay Nam Bo is super full of taste! It comes with many sauces that are sharp and salty and how teriyaki it is very good, obwol the pieces are a bit tough. Golden Garden is interesting and the herbs have a strong taste. "Zum Mittagstisch bestellte ich knusprige Ente mit Gemüse und Reis. Diese Mal kann ich es nur in kurzen Worten sagen, denn jedes weitere Wort wäre eines zu viel - ich kenne einige Imbiss-Bracken, in denen das gleiche Gericht viel besser schmeckt. Absoluter Durchschnitt und kein wenig an Extravaganz, die ich erwartet hätte. Die Ente hatte einen seltsamen Geschmack und der Teller war voll mit den, schon als verdammt vermuteten eingelegten Dosenbambussprossen. So schmeckt Asien nicht. Extrem günstig war es auch nicht, daher keine Empfehlung. Ich bin leider extrem kritisch beim Essen, daher bewerte ich wirklich nur gute Speisen als wirklich gut. Alles fair und ehrlich. Deshalb hier gleich eine geschmackliche Empfehlung hinterher: im "Da Lat" auf der Könneritzstrasse könnt ihr euch auf eine fernöstliche Geschmacksreise begeben, dies zwar nur in einem kleinem Imbissrestaurant, aber wem der Geschmack mehr wert ist als Schi Schi...!"

"Carrillada iberica al vino tinto con romero, su pure de patata y verdura (Bäckchen vom Iberico Schwein in a red wine rosemary sauce with potato puree and vegetables) We stayed there for the second time on Fr. 24.03. and were lucky to get one of the last free tables and were there again on 13.04. for the third time. Everything was once again excellent and with an increase. The recommendations of the two ladies who were correct on 24.03. The recommended main food, the “Carrillada iberica al vino tinto con romero, su pure de patata y verdura (Bäckchen vom Iberico Schwein in a red wine rosemary sauce with potato puree and vegetables)” was six-star cuisine and the recommended red wine, the “Coto de Imanz”, not to surpass and great for the main food, gentle and with grain like velvet. So, in this restaurant there is definitely not only an excellent (and stable) kitchen with a very good value for money, but excellent advice. Also on the 13th of 04 we were best received and everything was great. The appetizer, just mysteriously delicious. We can warmly recommend Patios del Sol because everything is freshly prepared. Only: more courage to Iberian taste, even if Leipzigers are not yet home to Spanish cuisine. They still come to taste Prof. A. de Toro (Leipzig)"

"This is a very nice and clean restaurant with beautiful flower arrangements and you feel a sense of peace when being there, even though the kitchen is buzzing. The food is over-all very nice with fresh and tasty produces and on top of that, it is cheap for what you get. The staff was very nice and attentive, and the food came out in good time. There were a couple of things not being that perfect.In the vegetable tempura was deep-fried sweet potatoes, but it also contained schrimps! This is not OK, when you write it is vegetable tempura. I am just glad I don´t have seafood allergy.I ordered the beef dish, but it was nothing like the menu said. Instead of a balsamic sauce I got some mayonnaise sauce wich was not nice together with rice and did not fit the dish at all. There were also all sorts of things on the plate not going well together at all. Fresh tomatoes, very strong radish sprouts, pinapple, pak choi and this weird mayonnaise sauce.Despite these hiccups we enjoyed the experience very much and will definately come back very soon again. We even got a fish bowl to-go and brought home for our son. Even that was very nicely presented and my son loved it."

"Food tasted very good, service was friendly! Unfortunately, we had to wait for a good hour, clearly too long, even after dinner we were not really served further!!! No one came for an hour and asked us if we want to pay or something else! The service did not work in a guest-oriented manner, prices were not appropriate to the service! But delicious food is there!! Who does not go hungry and has time to wait gets there tidy portions at a naja still so reasonable price if you are only limited to quality and portion size!"

"... it's hard to find superlatives that cover the food. More than delicious. It's hardly a week if I don't go there at least once. For this excellent service and the harmonious atmosphere of the restaurant. I also have a short call to take something. Sushi is not cold; then I can later conjure a delicious meal to the table, whether for me alone or for a visit with a special treat. The delivery service is not necessary for me with dog, as I have to get out of the door anyway and the Asian House is in a comfortable running distance, but is also offered. Just ask."

"Wie waren heute in diesem Restaurant und ich bin nicht begeistert. Freundliches Personal-ja aber sehr aufdringlich. Auf die Bitte hin meine Speise gern mit Gorgonzolasoße statt mit Metaxasoße, bekam ich von der Kellnerin die Antwort, dass das nicht ginge, weil sich die Soße schlecht dazu macht, aber ich hätte ja keine Ahnung davon! Ich denke nicht das man SO mit Gästen reden sollte, zumal ich selbst aus der Gastronomie bin! Lange Wartezeiten und dann war das Fleisch auch nicht frisch. Der Geschmack ähnelte einem aufgetautem Schnitzel. Aber man hat sich wenigstens entschuldigt und zugegeben das man vergessen hat sich das Dessert zu merken, welches beinahe vergessen wurde. Leider nicht zu empfehlen, hier muss definitiv am Service gearbeitet werden und der Koch sollte vorher die frische seiner Waren prüfen."

"Das 'Peperoni' wurde mir von mehreren Kollegen empfohlen und ich bekam dort den besten Dürüm Döner den ich in meinem Leben (bisher) gegessen hab.Mit 4€ ist er zwar etwas teurer, dafür kam er mir aber auch größer (besser gefüllt) vor als andere. Die Zutaten waren selbstverständlich alle frisch und besonders das Brot schmeckt um Klassen besser als bei anderen Döner Imbissen, was nicht zuletzt an der Zubereitung im Pizza-Ofen liegen dürfte."

"Zum wiederholten Male waren wir zum Kindergeburtstag dort bowlen. Das Bowlen hat, wie immer, Spass gemacht. Zum Abendessen waren wir mit den Kids (ca.11J.) in der oberen Etage im schön eingerichteten Restaurant. Die Karte ist umfangreich UND abwechslungsreich und alle Essen waren sehr lecker. Die Wartezeiten waren im normalen Bereich. Die Speisen mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Bei schönem Wetter hätte man auch die Terasse nutzen können. Der Service war aufmerksam, wenn auch durch die Anordnung der Räume (der Tresen ist unten) nicht immer sofort zur Stelle. Alles in allem, ein schöner Abend ohne Beanstandungen, man hätte nichts besser machen können. Gerne wieder"

"I always feel more comfortable knowing that I’m at a restaurant that is vegan, and Symbiose has the added advantage of being organic too. I visited on a Sunday so was treated to the buffet brunch which included a range of salads, falafels,...homemade hummus and sauces, couscous etc... as well as pancakes and cakes. The food was fresh and super good and the atmosphere and staff were refreshing. Definitely recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike!"

"Telefonische Reservierungen waren nicht möglich, da die angegebene Nummer sowohl bei Maps als auch auf der Website nicht gestimmt hatte. Trotzdem sind wir vor Ort gewesen und haben bei Shinto gegessen. An sich ein kleines, süßes und etwas dunkles Lokal. Das Restaurant wird nicht von Japanern geführt. Ich hatte eine Bowl bestellt, die aufgrund der großen Menge an Soße ziemlich sauer war. Meine Begleitung hatte Ramen bestellt, auf Karte nicht als scharf gekennzeichnet, sich aber leider als scharf herausstellte. Während des Essens wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Aufenthaltszeit normalerweise 1h beträgt (wir hatten sie schon überschritten), wir uns aber nicht stressen lassen sollen. Das hat uns trotzdem sehr gestresst, da es auch hätte am Anfang kommuniziert werden können. Als die Rechnung kam, wurde uns eine teurere Bowl berechnet, was wir im Nachhinein erst merkten. Viele kleine Faux-Pas, die nicht hätten sein dürfen."

Der Betreiber dieses Lokals ist Georgier, der Koch Italiener.Heraus kommt ein erstklassiges Essen, incl. einem Risotto, das man so gut selten bekommt. Der gegrillte Ziegenkäse in Orangen-Vinaigrette ist ein Gedicht!Das Lokal selbst strahlt ein wenig georgisches Einrichtungsstil aus, gepaart mit italienischen Anklängen... -das ganze dann ein wenig skurril...Der Betreiber agiert äußerst freundlich und flott.Die Preise sind moderat, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist dabei also wirklich sehr gut!Das Allegretto ist also eine echte Entdeckung!"
