"We ate Saturday evening at Tempico. One word for the welcome, the service and the quality of the products: excellent!!! There were 3 of us and we had pan con tomate, a mixed platter (tapas), and two duck breast pierrades. Everything was very good, the fresh duck breasts to die for!!! The boss, the waitress and the staff in general form a very friendly and professional team. We will come back this summer with pleasure."

"At a moment of the motorway this small town of restaurants on the channel where they grow oysters, and here on this small terrace of joyful colors and marine decoration awaits you a festin of oysters, mussels, clams and all kinds of seafood, special and wonderful. no in vain is called the ostreicole centre whenever we pass we stop to eat mostly oysters, there are of all sizes and it is a delight to eat them with a good white wine, cordial and friendly treatment, excellent price ratio. I recommend the gift to euros, you can eat up to three people, a lot of oysters, mussels and very good clams!"

"Very nice discovery for this charming restaurant, neat setting, very well decorated, the service is top notch, the waiter was attentive and very pleasant! The wood-fired meats are cooked to perfection (rather rare), the dishes are generous and the quality is there. An address not to be missed in Leucate, where you will be very well received!"

"The Waitress was obviously sick and was coughing all the time. While serving she coughed directly in the face of my girlfriend, and shortly after towards me from a very close distance. She didn’t even try to turn away from us! When adressing her, she didn‘t show any remorse and was rude: „but i‘m wearing a mask“. In times of a pandemic, this is an unacceptable behaviour.... we are truly shocked... No apology from her or the owners."

"A festival of flavours that burst in the mouth at each tested dish: Original mezze tray, perfect pikkle mussels, the tuna that agrees to delight with its apple sorbet, but above all the tartelette de gravelax daurade with a succulent freshness. In short a search for constant weddings to dessert: bravo to chef Mignot. Very friendly staff and very good advice. Not to miss if you pass through the region. Super seaside frame."

"We arrived at 13:30 just for 3 ice cups because we wanted a dessert after having tasted oysters in the oysters of Leucate. We were very well received and served quickly with professionalism. Ice cups are generous, delicious... and strong with homemade whipped. I point out the merit of staying open to the year despite the little world out of season. Being a Leucate resident I will not hesitate to test the card one of these evenings in order to reward their tenacity all the more because we had to do to the patron couple who were traders and smiling and who engaged the conversation very easily."

"Very clean restaurant with a very good reception, a varied menu with just what it takes! We ordered fried mussels a real treat, the sauce is home there is nothing to say, the fries are also good (surged but good) . If you are looking for a friendly restaurant with a good cuisine it is here that you have to be (PS: I have already eaten in my coconut)"

"ahhhhh French cuisine! the house of culinary delights! especially the seafood on the south coast. oysters falling from their dish, grilled garnel dripping in garlic bitter, sublime steaks, which fall on the sea, which invites her knife, and then there is this place.....................Our thought was first excited when the live music appeared, a song sang and then stopped. I suppose you need to know when you fight a loss fight. we start with the personal. they don't care that they're a paying guest. they are aware that the footfall in the restaurant will be a farewell and as such there is really no need to do any efforts at all. we have managed to win the attention of an incredibly boring looking man and ask him for some mayonnaise to add something aroma to our sons the bowl of the fries. the people glistened with outrage, he took a deep breath and said “No”. we are not really used to being said no as a response to basic demands after contingent, so that we have escaped in our hands and felt whether there was flexibility in his response. that seemed to disturb him, had he not cleared us enough? At some point he scrubbed his shoulders and said that we could have aioli, although his abhorrent suggests that we would have to make the aioli of his lifeless hand clutchable. we have rejected as our sohn aioli does not like. what was for a mistake that was! the main thing came. Although there was nothing that aioli could do to save the Thai green chef in a bag brewed curry that had my wife who thought the dach of her mouth and did not make any other lasting impression, there was no doubt that important puppies of aioli need to be if any of the fishermen were eaten in the castle. we have taken our lives into the hands we have sung to the waiting staff. the young man had to go out clearly so that we were faced with a young lady, for whom the smile was an option that was rarely offered. in most votes we asked if it would be possible to have a few aioli. she was clearly warned about these demanding British guests and brazen as she explained no before she was writing away to avoid further confrontations. the British rich was not built by people who take “no” for a response and if they dared close enough to our table again, we repeated our request for aioli. in this time the already indefinable fishburgers became too stone cold, but because we paid for this food, and they call us traditionists if they want, we were determined to have at least one mouthful. the waitress could see our determination and nodded that she would get something aioli. every sense of success that we felt died faster than our appetite, when she just never returned to our table and should never be seen again. that was it, a completely disgusting Thai prawn green curry and two disgustingly inedible fishburgers. if they ever go to this restaurant, then they can ask why. When I paid, the man behind the bar asked me if everything was in order? I began to describe our eating experience, he had asked, but he interrupted me, gave me my card back and schroff."

"Visit here with the family on Sunday. A GREAT initiative is a free children's meal with a fully paid adult. It was the last day before seasonal closure, so there were a few things not available that is understandable. We had 12 oysters, a part of the razor shells and gambles and two garlic rolls as tapas starters. The main course was Calamar on Planxa, Morue, a huge steak and a chickenceasar salad, all served with chips. Dessert was a cream catalane, 2 boules by Sorbet and a banana split. 2 x 1 litre bottles Perrier, 2 Orangina, 1 Ricard, 1 Shandy and 1 Sangria plus three coffees were the drinks. The invoice was 178€!!!! 44€ per person!!!! The food was not exceptional, but good. I have eaten a lot better food in much more beautiful restaurants for much less money."

"We came here after seeing the 4.5 star rating on trip advisor and were travelling through the area.As it was dinner time we decided to get a burger each (as it stated that it comes with a salad, fries and onion rings). I ordered the Marilyn (burger, curry sauce, pineapples and cheddar) for 11.50 Euros and my husband ordered the Elwood (burger, roquefort sauce and cheddar) for 10 euros. Both burgers were huge and the portion of fries was good. Each dish was served with 2 onion rings (which were equally good but it would have been nice to have some more and less fries) and some lettuce leaves (although barely any dressing). We did find that the burgers lacked sauce in comparison to the amount of meat(150g). The buns were great though and the meat was cooked exactly as we had asked. The decor was on point. Everything matching your typical American diner. We had a great server although she seemed stressed as she appeared to be the only server for the entire restaurant. She was very nice to all the clients around us.The only downside is when I think of an American diner there are 3 staples dishes I instantly think of: burgers, fries, and milkshakes. This restaurant unfortunately didn't offer milkshakes which was a bit of a let down for me."

"French arrogance at its best! Bad service and too expensive. We were 6 adults and 3 kids and went there for lunch. We needed to wait 1h15min for our food, even though the restaurant was half empty. We also waited nearly 10-15min to be attended for drinks and to get the menu. There was no excuse nor explanation nor any gesture from the owner Alex, no coffee or glass of wine offered! You think they need tourists and they suffered during Covid, but apparently not. After speaking to local people everyone confirms not to go there anymore due to long waiting time, bad service, overpriced and their ignorance. Its a pitty because the place is nice and the food once you get it is good but still we do not recommend you to go there. Go to Ginette or Biquet."

"It's a very typical place or I've been going for many years. I even made a wake-up call from 31/12. But since the change of owner is the catastrophe. We breathed the smoke from the barbecue, normal no chimney! but especially the speciality grilled chicken went back 3 times in kitchen as raw. He ended up in the oven. He had no taste, no taste. When I left, I noticed that there were shoes on the fridge behind the bar. I was told that he was a child. Hello, hygiene. I didn't pay dearly. I was offered apero and a rosé, but I would have liked to eat."

"Picked this restaurant because they had a place on the terrasse with a view on the port. From the look of it was not expecting much; freshly thawed food, pizzas and slow service by harried waiter in typical touristy restaurant. Sat down to plastized single paper menus and my expectations dropped even furthur. HOWEVER not so!The waitress was quite friendly and although not exactly prompt (she seem to have a lot of tables to manage and the place was full), she was calm and really seemed to have everything under control. Like she had a system, and it worked. When she got to you you had her full attention, smiled a lot made little small talk that engaged you if you wanted or could easliy be smiled at in return, but was not wasting anyone's time, just being social. The place was packed yet she made you feel like you were the only client in the restuarant. So good service. We ordered drinks, squid, mussels/french fries and a child's pizza. Everything arrived in a reasonable amount of time.My squid was huge and delicious, with as potatoey thing with fancy vegs around it. Looked really like what a high class restaurant would serve. Cooked perfectly, not too rubbery, maybe a bit heavy on the butter and oil, but hey, some might say was not enough): Basically very good, My companion had the mussels, alot of mussels, really large mussels, fresh mussels. too many mussels. Plate of french fries that was cooked perfectly, I thought was not very many french fries, but in the end had a hard time finsihing them. Got two thumbs up for the mussels. The child had a child sized pizza that looked very good, with little micky-mouse style ears made from dough. Cute. Ate the whole thing so can but assume it tasted as good as it looked. The bill was perfectly reasonable. My companion was saying we paid the same amount for our meal the previous day which was not nearly as good nor as voluminous. So thumbs up for that as well."

"You have to say what is the last change is not a success, the restaurant passage at bar lounge. the lower quality of the kitchen without changing the prices, hurts. A simple tartar 16€, for a accompaniment of 3 small potatoes to rain without even a flower of salt to embellish them, it is frankly abused.Simplification of the decor, the formula...This is not what I am looking for when I make a romantic getaway with my wife. After 15 years of attendance, and 2 attempts in recent holidays... Farewell quai west"
